So, this was what chirigami wanted to talk to him about... or rather show him. Urahara stared, somewhat transfixed - and still a bit sleep deprived and 'port-lagged - at the dwelling that stood before him in the lush green grass that seemed to stretch to no ends. Absent-mindedly he pulled his deep red blanket closer around his body, withdrawing a breath still just staring at the Japanese styled house that stood there.

"ja ~" chirigami exhaled, breaking the silence that had lingered in the air once the three - herself, Ura and Taima - had teleported to the realm. The little Fa'e had taken no time with running from the two of them, screeching and arms out like an airplane. Not for fun, mind you, but to just get away; bah to socializing and finally a place other than that stupid apartment! Of course, this should have gotten a reaction from the red head; her charge had taken off for once and was running loose in a place the little one didn't know. But hey, this was her realm after all, chiri knew exactly where Taima had run off to.

And speaking of which, "Ja," chiri repeated with her head turned toward the other red head, "ikou na?" She smiled, eyes closed and hands out as if ushering him to the door after noticing his own mismatched ones glance over in acknowledgment. Also giving a small nod, the teen pulled his blanket around him further and followed the female up the small steps towards the door. He stopped suddenly, "What about...." What was her name again?

"Aa, Taima will be fine," chirigami chirped as she slid open the simple wood doors and held her hand out again to point him into the th greeting area. He once again stopped, stunned and stood perplexed at the magnitude that was opened up to him. He stared at the entry way, the wooden floors and wooden beams that supported wooden walls complete with the traditional Japanese paper like doors. From the entry, the house seemed to branch off into three sections, to which he wasn't even sure of.

"That way," chirigami stepped forward, pulling him along with her and pointed to the right, "Is where most of the others stay. There are some smaller rooms and then one larger one for them to play in that opens up into the outside and suchies. Over there," Pointing ahead, "Is the main living area like living room, kitchen, main bath, and theres also a little garden in the center of it all. And over there," She finally pointed to the right, "Is where I usually am.. was, whatnot. Has my room, a few other rooms that also circle around to the left, but also has a few rooms I will never let you see." Like her ode to Gaara room and of course the weapon room. Course, it wasn't like she was going to let him in her own room either, much like in the apartment. She was over protective like that but, "You can take one of the rooms on the left side, you're welcome to pick one," The red head smiled, earning a confused look from Ura. "I figured you wouldn't want to be disturbed and such, since the others can get noisy.. and I have a few extra rooms in my area ... and you'll know which ones you can't touch." And more confusion from the teen.

Silence. If there were crickets here, this would have been their cue.

Urahara continued to stare, eyes wide like a deer in the headlights. Information continued to try and process, this house. Such a simple yet grand house... been here the whole time and, she hadn't mentioned it, well... not really.

chirigami frowned slightly at his lack of any reactions, had the porting had a bad side affect that she didn't know about? Panic began to swell in her head, had she damaged Urahara in some way? What if this happened to Taima? Shadow would kill her or something if something went bad with the little Fa'e. Eyes began to widened, the panic began to grow. Taima, sure had run off .. she usually sat quietly on the couch or something.. times acting up and zapping people, but had acted a bit differently when they had gotten here.. so maybe not. But, Urahara.. he wasn't.. doing anything. "Urahara?"

"Since when did you have all this?" He finally asked.

"Um... a long while, before you came..."

"Oh."

Once again, silence. chirigami shifted uncomfortably, raising a hand to scratch the back of her head. She looked from Urahara to the room, unsure of what he was thinking. Was he mad at her for something? Did he not like the look? She nevere really brought anyone here except pets .. and the only one who ever visited her was Taiyou Doragon, not even Mifu had been here. "I figured," She began, "you needed some time away from Gaia. You seemed grumpy or something, and such and such..." Might as well explain herself.

"Oh..."

Huh. Okay, chirigami blinked, hand now rubbing against her other arm in discomfort. Man, this was terribly awkward or something.. maybe she should .. go. Leave him to explore or something. Maybe she could find something else for him to get his mind off of things. "Anou..." She bit her lip, "I'll leave you.. and such.. um.. have fun!" Came the chirped goodbye, as she suddenly poofed out of the room - collecting Taima on the way before her final poof to Gaia.

Now leaving Urahara, perplexed in the greeting room. Staring, wide eyed... confused... trying to wrap the blanket even more around him but failing as there wasn't much left to grab.

"Huh..." Came more articulated responses as he finally managed to gain back some brain functions, carrying himself to the living room. There seemed to be a rather large DVD collection in the back, along with a large television....

chirigami shifted uncomfortably at the low traditional styled Japanese table she was currently sitting at. Her red eyes remained upon and stared at the wood grains, often shifting to the small cup of tea in front of her. She was unnerved to say the least, but then again that wasn't saying much anyways. She was also nervous about something, about everything, but this time it was a bit different. The person across from her always had the knack of just bringing that unease to new levels.

It had been a few days since news of Urahara's cruise ship mishap had reached her, and after the meeting to go look for those now stranded. But chiri had managed to mess that up all together with missing the boat to go rescue her charge. Mental barrades continued, how could she be so dumb? She knew the time that they were going to leave and from where, but she still missed it. chiri wasn't even sure if she had forgotten or... just how she could have missed it, it was puzzling even to her. So, now the guilt ridden red head had to do something ... she had to make it up to the boy somehow. And her only option was now sitting across the table ....

"So..." The other woman spoke up, pausing to take a small sip of tea, "let me get this straight." Taiyou Doragon fell once again into silence, delicate eyebrows pushing together as her pure white eyes narrowed in annoyance.

...

chirigami twitched slightly in the looming silence. Her eyes squeezed shut and her muscles tightened as her nerves raised. It was beginning to become unbearable, she could just feel the eyes of the other woman just boring into her skull.... judging her. chirigami hesitated for a moment before slowly raising her head to meet the gaze of Doragon.

"Now that I have your attention." Doragon began once more, softening her eyes just slightly, "So, let me get this straight. You missed a rescue operation to go find a boy you're supposed to be taking care of and to make it up to him you want me to train him?" An eyebrow raised, followed with a questioning 'hmm.'

"Yes." Came the mumbled reply from the redhead as her gaze once again met with the table.

Again those white eyes narrowed. "chirigami, look at me when you talk." The light child sighed in annoyance, "I don't see why I should be solving your problems. You're the one who went against my advice to look after children," A hint of a hiss at the last word, "And you have a 'perfectly' well off style that you could teach the boy."

"I didn't know the necklace would turn into a person," chirigami whined, looking up again with a pitiful look on her face - that Doragon grunted at, not buying it for a second. Her body slumped on the table a bit, causing her own cup of tea to teeter a bit, with some liquid splashing to the wood grains. "And my style ... it..." chiri trailed off, eyes downcasting again.

"You're style would work better... with the majik and all...."

"The boy can use majik?" Doragon questioned, now slightly interested, as she took a sip of tea.

"I think Ura can, there's something about him... I don't know, it feels different. Not like you, or maybe not as strong but... I think so. He managed to get through a lot of my wards that require majik to unlock and such." chiri shifted once more, still not looking up. "I think he could learn a lot from you..."

Doragon's interest was beginning to wane, even more than before. Her gaze - though not noticable as she had no visible purpils nor iris - shifted to everything but the now whining red head. Her head turned to resting upon her open palm while her elbow rested upon the table. She questioned herself once again for taking up the chaos creature's request for a visit, she knew somehow it was going to be a bad idea. Oh, how right she was. A request to train some lowly mortal child that the red head had managed to get stuck with. The light child let out another sigh of annoyance, taking another sip of tea.

"Pleeeease, Doragon-dono?" chiri continued - on the idea that whining could get her way - not noticing Doragon wasn't even paying attention, "I know he can learn a lot from you, and it's not like you have to teach him a lot ~ just so that he can defend himself or something," Could he? chiri wasn't even sure how well Urahara could hold in a fight... uh, well .. anywho, "Just the basics~ onegai?" Her arms stretched out across the table almost in reach of the tanned woman's propped up arm.

Ten more minues, it continued and the irritation rose.

Doragon scrowled, how much noise and whines could one creature produce? Not even mortals were - wait scratch that.. yes they were this annoying and more. "Just the basics?" Maybe it'd get her to shut the ******** up. "And you won't complain if I end up killing him?" Not that she even cared if chirigami complained, if this 'Ura' couldn't handle it then it was his own damn fault. But she continued to glare at the wall some more, ********.. had she gotten so soft to cave into whining? This was pitiful.

"You'll train him?" chiri's eyes light up, pushing herself up from being spread across the table, "honto?" The red head pushed herself forward, towards the light child, in attempt to hug her in joy...

... but before she could get there, or even an inch closer, Doragon reached out, grabbing chiri's head and slammed her down - creating a few cracks in the table's surface. "No Touchy.... and don't you dare ask for anything ever again..."

They had found themselves in one of those awkward silences like they had always fallen into. It seemed like forever since they had at least spoken to one another - cruise or otherwise and it still seemed like they could still fall into regular patterns. Well, at least the silence....

chirigami could tell things had changed, Urahara seemed different. Not just physically, chiri had actually noticed the more mature features of her charge even after months of not seeing his face .. and he was a little taller than she remembered. But it seemed there was a mental, emotional or whatever they called it.. change. When she has first spotted the boat, bouncing slightly on the docks, and then laid eyes upon him as he was the last to exit the little boat, she had expected an irritated eyeroll. Instead, chirigami got a stoic nod from him and then the young adult's eyes drifted to the ground. No words were spoken as they walked from the docks of Gambino towards her small apartment in Durem.

She so badly wanted to apologize, for not being there - and not just for the rescue mission. Or maybe, to just talk to him and tell Urahara her awesome plan to make it up. But when the redhead looked over, seeing a lack of real expression, no words could come out of her mouth. So... silence.

It was getting so unnerving. Why was everything so complicated and unnerving?

...

"Etou... Ura. I'm really sorry about not being there when the boats found you." chiri finally managed, tugging on one of her longer dreads.

"Don't worry about it," Came the rather flat reply.

"But, I should have been there ..."

"Honestly, don't worry about it." The male was actually a little relieved she wasn't there when they were rescued, she would have been hovering and not allowing him a moments peace. During the duration of the trip back, Ura had found the most secluded area of the boat - which was hard, they weren't that big - and just let the ocean calm him down. The sound, the smell.. the look...

Ura let out a small sigh. Now they were going back to stuffy apartment, far away from any ocean or anything that could at least be relaxing. If the young adult was lucky enough, perhaps he would be able to return to the realm or something ... it was away from everyone.

"But," chirigami's voice chimed in again, breaking up any nice silence enduced thoughts, "I figured out a way to make it up to you..." She sounded chipper, damn... "'cause I asked someone to..." Ura sighed once again, drowning out her words.

This was getting irritating and the two weren't even in Barton yet. The male let his eyes close for a moment with a small inhale of breathe, continuing on an attempt of drowning out the now excited sound of his caretaker. "Listen, chiri..." He finally spoke up, sliding eyes open to turn his attention to her. It took him a moment to register that he had stopped walking, and mainly noticed as she had to turn and gave him a curios look.

"Can't we just port.. or whatever the hell it is you do, back home?" He looked at her, eyes tired, bags still present from those other previous nights of restlessness. A mansoon wasn't something that could easily remedy that, especially since he was a lone for a good while ... "I'm tired... I really just want to get some sleep or something."

"I just.. thought, maybe a walk would be nice or something." A pout, "But.. if you'd like to go to home, I can try to teach you how to port to the realm..." Did he just hear her right? She said the realm, there was a spark of life in his eyes.

His posture slouched slightly, watching her hesitantly walk towards him with outreached arms. Ura pulled back slighty, this was... sudden... this was weird. She was, teaching him something? He twitched as tan hands reached up, almost cupping his ears as her fingers barely touched his ears yet spread out on the side of his head. "Close you eyes.." She instructed slowly, unsure herself, "and... just picture the realm .. your destination. Concentrate and just... feel uh... disappearing and such. Um," Oh what a fantastic lesson, "You've seen me do it, picture the disappearing and... the realm and..."

Again, her voice droned on and he turned to zoning her out. His eyes scruntched together trying to follow - or at least understand her directions. The realm, picture disappearing. What the ********, honestly, what kind of instructions were those? Focus, focus. The realm... picture just appearing there.

...

chiri gasped, eyes snapping open as her hands hovered in the air at where he once stood. The smell of sulfer remained as black smoke dissapated into the air. A chill ran down chirigami's spine at the power she felt, the aura that it gave off. It was ... dark....

...

Urahara wasn't able to explain the feeling clearly, it was almost weightless and surreal. Like his body had been pushed and pulled in multiple directions or perhaps split into a million little pieces to only be put back together somewhere else. It was exhilarating and freightning at the same time.

Seconds passed, it took a moment for his eyes to finally focus. His eyes shut for a moment, straining against the sudden shift in lighting, before opening to a squint. And then blinked a few more time.

There was a woman standing a few meters off from him, arms crossed over her chest. She was tall and rather .. monochromatic. Pure white hair and skin, fluffy ears like a cat with a tail that swished behind her. She was dressed fully in black leather with silver trim that hugged her curves, or at least the parts that touched her body, as some of the fabric wore almost like a skirt from her waist. But her eyes, those were what struck him... they were pure black and looked... rather stern.

After a few long moments of silence, after which it seemed the wirey boy wasn't going to speak, Neko narrowed her eyes slightly, tilted her head forward a touch, and smirked in a way that bordered on feral. Her white tail snapped to the side once behind her before settling again and tapped two slender white fingers against her arm. Laying the full force of her attention on the boy, she caught and held his eyes like a deer in the headlights with a small amount of internal amusement before carefully breaking the straining silence.

"So, you must be Urahara. You know why we're here, yes?"

We? The two of them were supposed to do something? Was chirigami aware there was a strange catgirl in her realm.. on her lawn expecting something of him?

His mismatched eyes feel from wide back to that squinting position they were in earlier with an obvious mix of confusion. Well, in the most part an eyebrow raised slightly. "Uh..." Ura articulated rather nicely.

That, most certainly, had not been an expected or even an acceptable response. Tapping her fingers against her bicep and quirking a brow, she waited for the boy to continue. As the seconds passed and no more was forthcoming from the boy who just stared at her like a confused little mouse that saw a snake with two heads singing a duet, Neko's ire rose. Slowly, her smirk fell until her lips were a thin line, brows drawing together slightly as her obsidian eyes narrowed at the boy in mounting annoyance. Really! Was it too much to ask for that little twit to have sent the boy prepared for what awaited him? Or at least some understanding? This is why mortals were so troublesome. The feline spared a portion of her aggrevation for the redhead that started this, but laid the rest on the squinting boy.

"Listen, and listen close. You," she hissed, smirking in a rather unpleasant way that she knew bared her sharp canines, "are going to be taught how to fight, since you are apparently abysmal at it. This is not done for you, and you can thank that.. caretaker of yours for managing this favor at all. Understand that I have no desire to help or teach you and I could care less about what happens to you. But I will teach you and you will learn," and here she leaned forward slightly and narrowed her glare a little more until she was sure she had the full attention of the dual-colored eyes, "Do you understand me, child?"

There was a vague recollection of the chatter he had heard from chirigami a few moments earlier. A way of 'making it up to him'. His eyes shot open again - with a small gasp that he couldn't even help - perplexed at not realizing and having zoned out and more over as the feline leaned closer to him. Glaring. Such black eyes... glaring at him, and she had fangs too. It was almost like he could feel eyes all around him too.

The red head almost felt like backing away but stood frozen where he was. Dammit, he had fallen into the stupor he always fell in to, so not cool...

"... Yes.." He breathed out. SO not cool, what the hell was wrong with him? 'well.. there is a pissed of cat person glaring and lecturing at you for reasons you weren't aware of because you didn't pay attention,' one part of his brain told him. Another part grumbled and told that part to shut up.

"Good!" Neko suddenly chirped, expression transforming instantly from angry glare back to feral smile-smirk as she leaned back up into her former position. Well, the boy seemed to be obedient, if a little dull, but it could have been worse. He could have balked and then she really would have had to hurt him, agreement or no. If he could be obedient, there were hopes for the poor thing actually retaining something.

"Right then, now that that's understood training will begin immediately. We'll start with the basics. What is the first basic rule to combat, child?" Neko smirked as she called the boy 'child' for the second time. She suddenly decided that would be all she would call him until he showed himself worthy of actual recognition. Hell, this might actually turn out to be a little bit of fun, if the boy showed potentional and effort.

As her expression changed, as did his. Right back to confusion, what was with everyone he seemed to meet and their total split second change in personality? Urahara twitched slightly and stared back, weight suddenly shifting to one side in an uncomfortable manner.

First rule of combat? Like he had had any combat training... ever. The young adult was used to reading up on majik and how some spells could dispell wards or something, nothing about rules. And for some reason, in the back of his mind Urahara could probably pull up something about a 'pirate code.' The 'child' comment never even registered. Another uncomfortable shift, his mouth opened .. nothing came out so it simply closed again.

Neko stood patiently, waiting, tail swishing impatiently and sharp nails tapping against her arm. All right, the boy didn't know much. She knew that, so she continued to wait. He opened his mouth, closed again, and when no further attempt was made the black eyes narrowed once more whilst the rest of her expression remained unchanged. Chirigami, she decided, needed to be hurt. Maimed even, for having the gall to give her a boy who didn't even know the most basic princples. The prospect of teaching was once more highly unpleasant to think about. With a silent snarl behind her still smile-smirking lips, Neko decided what to do. If the boy didn't know how to swim, he better learn fast when she throws him in.

"All right, child. First rule of any basic combat is to always be aware of your surroundings." She let her voice slide into a sort of lecturing tone that probably sounded rather haughty, but she didn't really like the boy so she didn't particularly care. He just better damn well learn fast, if he knows what's good for him. "A warrior must always be aware of everything going on around him at all times. By such awareness you can anticipate attacks, prepare proper defensive strategies, and use all available tools at your disposal to your utmost advantage. And a warrior must know these things at all times withought having to look around like a paranoid schitzophrenic." While she said this, she thought of the redhead the boy was forced to endure and wondered again if this was even possible for him to accomplish.

"That said," she continued, uncrossing her arms and spreading them out wide to her sides, gestering to the surroundings, "you can see what's in front and you can see to your sides to a degree. Without looking, I want you to tell me what's behind you."

Then, as an afterthought, given the boys behavior thus far: "Be quick."

"Behind.." Urahara questioned under his breathe, trying not to at least show he was in the least bit confused. Oh, don't get him wrong, he actually understood most of what she had just said .. it actually made sense - chiri didn't thankfully pass on her dim-wittedness to him. But, it was just ... her statement followed by.. the other statement.

His eyes drifted slightly to the right, was there actually something behind him? Slowly his head turned with his body following in twisting around. His body jerked in surprise a split second before his vision went black and his body completed the revolution towards the soft grass at his feet.

Urahara was out cold before he actually hit the ground, having barely seen the other woman that had been standing behind him the whole time.

"How disappointing." Taiyou Doragon grumbled under her breath as she returned her hand to rest upon her crossed arm, cold white eyes narrowing upon his crumpled form below her.

Neko just shook her head and stared at the spawled body on the lawn between her and her twin. "Idiot, I told you not to look."

[ the part of Kuro Neko is played by kamifubuki ]
PostPosted: Wed Nov 02, 2005 11:06 pm

Kuro Neko frowned minutely as she ducked a little to her left side, evading the long blade hissing through the air beside her and brought her own sword up in a rapid movement and slammed it down hard against the boy's blade, sending the tip headlong into the ground from the force and carrying the child's body forward from the momentum. Straightening, she took a casul step forward, darted her white tail out and wrapped it around the boy's ankle and pulled, sending him further off-balance until he collapsed in a heap at her feet. With another flick the sword point faced his neck and Neko circled him slowly.

"Aware of your surroundings." she murmured in quiet reminder. The frown deepened. How many times was that now? He was learning at a respectable rate, so she expected him to put up more of a fight. She was still going easy on him, after all. Something wasn't right, and it bothered her to not be able to put her finger on it. Stopping, sword held loosely still pointing at the child, she propped a hand on her hip and studied the redhead below her.

Urahara let out a small huff, eyes closed as he initially hit the ground hard. Sweat beads glistened upon his forehead as they slowly rolled down the side of his cheek, allowing his red hair to stick even further to his head. The young adult steadied his breathing, eyes opening and staring upon the edge of her blade.

No words came out of his mouth for a few moments, he honestly wasn't sure how to respond. He was trying to be aware, he was getting a bit better or so he thought. A bitter part of his brain ranted about how unfair that damned tail was; honestly how many creatures was he going to encounter with tails as forceful and long.. and swift as hers was? It was insane. Again eyes closed, opening slightly to glance along the ground.

Damn, his sword was all the way over there, there was no chance to really try something stupid and attack her with her position like that with no weapon. Well, he wasn't really out of option... he could try sweeping her off her feet or something. No, she'd probably be able to counter that. Ura frowned, eyes opening a bit wider and rising to look at her.

From a few feet away, sitting with legs crossed upon the small wooden porch of chirigami's house, Taiyou Doragon chuckled to herself. Oh dear, the mortal child was on the ground again.

Kuro Neko met the mismatched eyes for a moment and almost smirked. Poor child, it mustn't be fun to always be up against someone he'd never beat. But she had something else on her mind and huffed a bit of air that ruffled her bangs. "You," she said, raising her hand from her waist and twirling the hand in the air and she thought how best to articulate her speculations. "You are not good at this." Yes, yes that was it. It wasn't that he wasn't good at fighting, precisely, but this particular practice made it clear that he wasn't suited to anything she threw at him. No longer looking at him, she absentmindedly shrank and sheathed her sword in her hair as she continued to think aloud, walking in a slow circle around the child.

"You are thin, tall, lanky even. Without a supreme sense of balance this will always happen, methinks. Such a form can easily be pulled off-balance. Yes... hmm.. " Neko stopped again, looking down at the redhead. "Close range, I think. Maximize speed over power to utilize that wirey body. Weapons... hmm, hand-to-hand and... daggers, perhaps? Short blades." Here she looked up to face her twin sitting on the porch, "What do you think, sister?"

Doragon hummed, bringing her hand to allow her fingertips graze her lips. For a moment she studied the boy on the ground from the distance she was currently at. "Perhaps, he hasn't been doing well with a majority of the weapons you've tried." She noted, now pulling her legs up to sit cross-legged and then sighed, "Go with it.." Doragon flickered her wrist, nonchalantly.

Ura blinked, eye twitched slightly as she commented on his statue. Was this supposed to be counting as an insult or.. just commenting? Well, it rather was, but he had hoped that he would have been able to work well with the sword... it almost felt familiar .. almost like he was supposed to use it at least decently. But at the same time, it didn't feel comfortable. The red head let out a sigh as the twins discussed, well sort of, what to do with him.

Neko nodded briskly. "Right then. Doragon, make a short sword and a few knives, will you please? Standard knives as well long." The albino woman preferred not to make things with her majik if she could help it, and there weren't any weapons already handy. She smirked slightly at her twin before turning her attention back to the youth, once again drawing the blade from her hair but only expanding it to about half size.

"All right, child. Get up, you're not done yet. From now on, you're going to learn something new." The pale lips pulled back in another smirk; Neko always did enjoy a new fight. Eyeing the redhead, she twirled the short sword absently while she waited.

Doragon rolled her eyes and scoffed, "Make weapons, please.. you're usually the one crafting things." She pushed herself onto her feet, pushing some loose strands of white tresses out of her eyes and returned attention to Neko.

"chirigami is sure of have a room of weaponry somewhere in here... I'll go borrow some." A smirk crossed her lips as she slide into the house.

Ura sat there for a moment blinking, eyebrows raising slightly. So, that's what one of those forbidden rooms was most likely... one of the ones he didn't have time to explore before he was sent on that damn cruise.

"Yes, ma'am..." The red head mumbled as he pushed himself up off the grass and to his feet. Woah, a little dizzy, one eye closed as his head went to settling. Ow, his arms hurt.... again.

"So..." Neko drawled as her twin's figure disappeared into the house. Given what she knew of chirigami, she rather pitied Doragon's excusion. "Well, who knows how long she'll need to search in that place, so let's have a warm up, hm?" With that she tossed her blade off to the side so that she was unarmed. Neko widened her stance, crouched a little to lower her center of gravity, and smirked at the redhead. "Attack me, child." Besides, not like there was anything else to do until they had new weapons...

Ura let out a slow breath, watching her lower a little, his own legs spreading into a similar stance. Left.. right, maybe below like he had thought of last time. His gaze remained on her face, trying not to let her have an advantage over him - as he could never see where she was looking.. he didn't want her to get a clue where he might be heading. Another breath and he pivoted slightly to the left before ducking down and extending his right leg out in hope of knocking her off her feet.

Pfft. Locks and wards. Doragon sighed dully, "Really.. do you think this would keep me out?" Her wrist flicked allowing the metal device to clank to the ground with the torn papers that had been keeping it secure... well, against anyone stupid. She fingered the wood door, sliding it open slowly.. hoping at least this time there were weapons behind. That one room dedicated to that one character was disturbing.

Thankfully, filled with metal instruments of pointy doom. The light child smiled, eyes scanning along the shelves and racks of different katana, wakizashi, various Western styled blades ... and finally to the tanto and other dagger based blades. She let her fingers dance across the instruments, though she generally never used them they were always something she loved to gaze upon.

"No time to dwell..." Shaking her head out of thought, she picked up the requested swords and knives before heading out the door and back to the sparring duo.

Neko considered for an instant evading the attempted sweep, but instead opted to drop into a full crouch, making herself a denser object to be moved and braced an arm next to her leg. When his kick connected, she reached out with her other arm, grasped the leg near the ankle and pulled, aiming her other arm in a punch and purposefully hitting the grass near his head. "Good plan, child, but only attemptable in certain situations. Only try to sweep your opponent when when their balance is already weak or they are otherwise busy and can't defend. When you have a prepared enemy in a defensive stance, you will rarely succeed in a sweeping move."

She stood again and reached out a hand to help the youth to his feet. "First, try to distract their attention, get the opponant in a fighting stance where they sacrifice defensive strength for attack readiness." Her furred ear twitched slightly and she cocked her head a little towards the house. Oh good, her twin was coming back already.

Damn. Well, he had hoped that it might have been affective in some way, well thankfully she didn't punch him this time. His eyes glanced to the side where her outstretched arm had hit the grass by his head. "... 'kay..." He murmered with a nod, eyes following her every move.

With her helpful arm, he was on his feet and nodded once again at her instruction. "Distract, get them into an offensive stance... then try it." He noted, mostly for himself, still nodding. Ura blinked when she turned her attention to the house, eyes again following as he watched his other instructor appear from the door way and make her way down towards them.

"Didn't take as long as I suspected, the twit isn't very secretive as she can hope." Another eye roll as Doragon placed the leather roll of the various daggers she had grabbed from the small room upon the ground, followed by a few short swords and other bladed weapons she was able to carry along with her.

"That should do it..."

"Thank you Doragon," she smirked at her twin and then returned her attention to the boy. "Okay now, Pick a weapon. Or a few, it doesn't really matter." Neko twirled her hand absently again and went to retrive her own blade. "Just pick out something you like or you think you'll be comfortable with. From now on we'll be adapting a style to be suited solely to you." Realizing there was some dirt on her short sword she flicked it a few times with a frown to clean it. She stood facing the redhead in a deceptively casual stance, blade hanging limply at her side. "Attack me again when you're done, child."

"Have fun," Doragon smiled with a mocking little wave to the pair as she returned to her place upon the porch.

A small glare was sent to the retreating woman. Was she always like that? Seriously. Okay, focus and pick a weapon, he scolded himself and turned his eyes downard to the plethora of weapons at his feet. And don't get distracted by the really shiny ones, his eyes twitched as he just couldn't keep his gaze off the really pretty one with those shiny stones. The way it sparkled... ooo. His head slightly turned, tempted to pick it up when his brain again yelled that it probably was more for decoration. It wasn't dirty after all, it was probably never used or something.

The young adult crouched down, flipping out the leather pouch a bit more when he found two simple designed short blades. He fingered the black wrapped tanto, slightly used but seemed in excellent condition.. a signed chiri must have used it often, in his right hand and then picked up a shorter dagger in his left. Ura flipped them around, giving them a good feel. Not familiar like the sword, but comfortable. Maybe he could work with these.

"Mmkay..." He breathed out, turning his attention back to the feline. He studied her stance for a moment and glanced at her where her weapon was. Casual... something was probably off. Okay, which way to go, could start out where he was and maybe. He flipped the tanto's handle again, allowing the unbladed side to rest against his arm. With another exhale he kicked off from his position and darted from side to side towards Neko. Before Ura got to her, he pivoted to the right and attemped to slash at her.

Ooh, a frontal assault! Goody! Neko couldn't help the smile as she flipped the blade with barely a flicker of movement and blocked the tanto. Moving one foot out farther to the side for leverage, she placed the palm of her other hand against the back of the blade and pushed the teen back. She flipped the sword again until the blade followed the length of her arm and ducked. Really, she couldn't resist the temption of the irony that presented itself just then, so bracing her other arm on the ground between her legs, she swung her already stretched out leg around to try to sweep the boy while he was occupied with the ********. Was the only thing that came to mind as Urahara watched her duck and go into the move he had attempted to attack her with a few moments ago. An annoyed look actually occupied his face as he faltered and fell backwards onto his a**..... again.

"See? Distractions." She smiled in twisted amusement and almost laughed at the sheer annoyance on the face currently staring up at the sky - and herself, ans she leaned over and interposed herself in his sight. Well, she figured that might have run the lesson home to him, having his own tactic used against him. She was actually rather proud of the child, it was expected that a student would make mistakes, but he applied himself and learned well. Thank mugen for small favors, an intelligent student!

Neko buried the tip of the blade in the dirt and crouched on her heels beside the redhead, one hand loosely on the weapon handle and the other arm draped over her thigh. "Very good, child. That was still a better attempt than the last." Absently she brushed some dirt from his chest, "I think that's enough for today, no? I've taught you the basics of bladework already, so apply that to these new weapons. Go with your instincts if they deviate a little, child, you will need to tune your yourself to these weapons you've chosen." She stood, one white hand replacing her blade while the other flicked her leather sleeve back and once more offered a helping hand up. "Practice, and I'll be back again to continue your training, hmm? Doragon, as well, will begin to assist, and you must learn what it is like to fight when outnumbered - and still win." With another mischevious smile, she turned towards her twin. "Shall we go, or do you wish to add something?"

Well, there was a compliment somewhere in there but Urahara still felt, uh.. a little crummy. He was still flat on his back like most other time he had sparred with Neko, man was he sore. But, well... she did say he was getting better so maybe that counted for something. "Sure, same time tomorrow then?" Ura almost chuckled, not letting his gaze off the 'sky' above. He did at least notice her helping gesture again, but raised his own hand to wave it off.

"I'm good, a little rest before trying stuff on my own."

"Well, if he'd like to laze there..." Doragon added upon joining the two with arms crossed over her chest. "Make sure to practice," She nudged him in the side with her boot, "I'll probably be stopping by on my own before then... I have some things to discuss with you as well as.. chirigami." Another eye roll. "Other then that, nothing else."

Neko chuckled again at her sister's ascerbic manner and patted the boy on the head as she passed, heading to the point on the lawn where they normally made their portals, sure her twin was following her. "See you again tomorrow, child." she called back lightly before stepping through the majik that led to her home Realm.

It actually turned out a few days later that Taiyou Doragon showed up alone, as promised. With no definate statue of time, however, within either realm one wouldn't have noticed anyway.

The light child appeared in the middle of the field as usual, this time greeted by the sight of shirtless Urahara sitting amoung the grass blades almost in the same place the twins had left him. A frown crossed her face, he hadn't been sitting there the whole time, had he? ******** useless mortals. She ventured forward, frowning less as she found he was actually tending to some newly acquired wounds and cursing when the bandages he was currently working with kept on moving out of place. As she continued closing the distance, she noticed him stop in action and turn his head towards her, almost surprised.

"It seems you're not very good with that either," As she was finally within inches of him, circling around to then kneel by his side and forcefully take his arm into her hands. Wordlessly, and without even commented on how he had sensed her coming, she finished wrapping the cuts and bruises with the little amount of gauze he had. "You should clean those as soon as you can before they get infected, what a waste of our time if you died from such a mundane cause." She huffed, narrowing her eyes before standing upright again.

"Good to see you're making use of time, though." Doragon looked him over, noticing a few more cuts here and there mostly on his arms and a few on his sides. "However," She continued, "I'm not here to continue your other lessons. chirigami mentioned you could use majik, and I'm going to do something about it." She gave him a stern look as he continued to stare up at her, at least glad he didn't flinch or look away like his guardian seemed to always do. It was nice to have the attention needed for this.

"So, tell me .. what kind of majik can you use?" She hadn't asked chirigami, though was pretty sure the female redhead wouldn't even know herself. The answer she got, however, didn't please her.

Urahara shrugged, "I.. don't know. All I've done is work with wards and.. such."

Doragon glared, Ura finally flinched. "Um," He stuttered slightly trying to figure out the right words to explain further, "Sometimes something.. seems to happen, not sure what though.. and its usually when I'm pissed off... uh..."

"Something, huh..." The glare continued as she sat back down facing the worried young adult. Doragon's hand shout out towards him, making Ura jump from surprise, especially when she wasn't actually punching him like before. Instead, she cupped her palm around his chin and brought him closer to her, eyes boring into him... unnerving him further.

Her eyes twitched, so there was something there .. she could sense it in him, highly underdeveloped and mostly untapped. And something else, an eyebrow raised, was he projecting an aura of some kind? "Do you really think you're being intimidating?" She questioned.

"Huh?"

More glaring, "You're projecting an aura..." She watched silently as he mouthed an 'oh.' So, he somewhat knew of it, but wasn't really sure of it at the same time. "It's pointless, if you want to seem threatening you don't do it in such weak fashion." He looked confused now, he probably didn't even know how he was doing it... oh, she was going to put an end to it.

"But there is power behind you, inherent, so there isn't much I can teach you. You must develop this power on your own, all I can do it help you tap into it and harness it to your advantage." She rocked back, releasing hold on his face, judging his expression.

".. okay." Ura responded, slightly disappointed that the news. So, the majik lesson wasn't even going to last that long. He frowned, but took it as it was anyways.

Doragon clicked her tongue, not taking his expression into any consideration but moved forward, "Your majik isn't on the same structure as mine nor my siblings'," She paused a moment, trying to figure out the best way for him to understand it, "Most uneducated mortals would probably consider it in the area of 'black majik,'" Hopefully that would do it, his expression changed at least.

"So.. that means.... what?"

A sigh, Doragon closed her eyes, "Meaning, you don't follow a select element, per say, but draw from those of any destructive or dark in nature." Her eyes opened again hearing a sound of acknowledgement from him.

"Your first step into training," She began once more before he was able to ask any inane questions. But unfortunatly, "will have to begin after the distraction leaves."

Urahara blinked as Doragon's eyebrows once again pushed together in annoyance. He could have sworn he heard a hiss escape her lips as she turned her gaze towards the house. Ura bent his body to the side, eyes now focusing on the red head on the porch. Staring in shock. chirigami.

"You opened... the weapon's room?" She stammered hurt, appaled, just... in shock. Someone had gotten through? But why? But... her rooms, her locks, her wards. She nearly dropped the cake she held in her hands.

"Your charge required sufficent weapons, you were more then well equipped with the necessary items." Doragon smiled cooly, not a bit of worry through her explanation, "You did ask us to train him..."

"Us?" chirigami was, again, surprised, closer now to the pair in the grass.

"Yes, Neko has decided to tag along as well." Glare once again now focused on the female redhead taking a seat by them. White eyes glanced momentarily on the cake in her hands that held a single candle and some wording she couldn't quite make out. But chirigami seemed not to explain in the mean time.

"Usou!" chiri exclaimed, leaning closer to Ura, "You met Neko? I've never gotten to meet Neko! What is she like, is she nice? Does she look like Doragon, they're supposed to be twins..." On went the rambling, leaving Ura somewhat baffled and dumbstruck. Doragon crossed her arms over her chest.

"Uh... uh... chiri." He tried, "hey, what's with the cake?" Maybe to get her off the drilling questions.

"Cake?" She blinked, "OH!" Picking it off her lap and holding it in arm reach of Urahara. "Happy Birthday! Or maybe.. this is an anniversay, or something. But! It was one year ago that you came out of the necklace! So, I made you a cake. Well, actually Suika made the cake after the first one I made made her sick, but she said this was edible." She still beamed. Ura carefully picked the cake out of her hands and stared at it.

... and couldn't read the writing. "Thanks..." He set it aside on the grass. "Is that it?"

"'course not! Now for your present!" Okay, now she was even more giddy, making Doragon want to gag. chiri pulled out the satchel she had brought out with her, pulling out something encased in her hands and once again held it in front of Ura. He stared at said hands and blinked, confused.

"Happy Birthday!" chiri exclaimed again, lifting her left hand from its position on top to reveal and small... little red creature about the size of a hamster with black ram like horns and black wings. It wasn't until it uncurled itself that one would notice it didn't seem to have any feet and really stubby arms. It's tail was long and bubbled at the end. A small silver bell jingled around it's neck, almost as big as it's head.

"Bu~" It exclaimed, taking to flight and hovering towards Ura's face. "Buu ~"

"Uh." Ura stared, once again baffled. Doragon wasn't sure what to make of it and chirigami pratically squiggled.

"I read somewhere that it was good for those who could use majik to have familiars, so I decided to make you one!" Oh, how proud of herself she was. "It can use majik as you yourself learn how to do stuff what you can do."

"Huh." Okay, so it was somewhat useful. "Why does it only seem to say bu?"

"I dunno, I was watching PeaceMaker when I completed him, I think her heard Saizo. It's cute though."

Okay, Urahara didn't really get any of that. "It reminds me of a cow.. with the bell..." He went out to poke the silver ball, making it jingle - only to excite the creature.

"Looks like a goat to me." Doragon snorted.

"What are you going to name it?" chiri sat wide eyed and excited.

"Mu..." Was all Urahara could think of, still on the cow idea.

"Mu that says Bu... oh, you're clever." Doragon sighed, pained by their stupidity. "Are you done now?" Eyes shooting to chirigami, "We were in the middle of something."

"Oh? Oh, okay then... Happy Birthday Ura! Come visit!" chirigami chirped before 'porting away home.

"As I was saying... the first lesson..." Doragon began again, swatting to get Mu away from her.
