Trace finally tore his gaze from the statue. It looked so much like the young woman from before. He didn't have to look at Ice for the dwarf to know what to do. The warmage followed silently. He was surprisingly alert, for someone who hadn't slept in a day.

Once they had withdrawn to the library, Sister Apathie closed the doors behind them, and walked over to the back wall. A mural was painted on it, showing what appeared to be the goddess Ren Eva, with her hands on the heads of two children who resembled Haruko and Hikaru. There were various symbols on it as well. She went and ran her fingers across the brooch of the young girl, then the belt of the young boy. Finally, she touched the goddess's forehead, and a crack was heard, as a section of the floor next to her vanished, revealing a stairwell. She grabbed a lantern and lit it up, then headed down. It opened out into another room, full of shelves containing various dusty tomes and scrolls. In the back, there was a door, but it did not appear to have any way of opening it. She turned to the two as they entered "Please, keep this place a secret, even Father Rache does not know this room exists. I think it may only open for me, being bestowed with the Mother's powers, otherwise Father rache would have surely found this place." She walked over to the shelf near the stone door, and pulled off a scroll. "This is strange, I have used a sight spell to check this door, and there is nothing but stone and soil behind it. It is, more or less, a door to nothing. But, this scroll details it being the door to some sort of maze, and a Sanctum within. But it does not mention how to open the way. Please, come look"

~The door to the trials of the Pillars, shall not be opened unless the time is of upmost correction, when those that will go, pass beyond the mazes and procure the relics within the Sanctum Deus. The Pillars then, being the children of Ren Eva, shall partake of the powers bestowed upon her also, and the Mother of Deus Temple shall bestow upon them her blessings, as servant of their will, and the will of Ren Eva.~

((I'll let Trace or Ice read the rest, come up with whatever you want, as long as it is at least semi-cryptic))

Trace read the rest in silence. He looked toward the nun. "I've seen these children. They were here during the battle, right before you showed up."
PostPosted: Sun Dec 02, 2007 11:09 pm

Sister Apathie gasped "Oh my, that is indeed strange. Perhaps they are woven into the thread of fate with us? I don't think it was just coincidence you meeting up with me. In any case, alow me to show you to your room, I must finish putting everything in order before I go to bed, I will see you in the morning" And with that, she led him out of the room, sealing it behind her. She led him down a corridor of blue, and into a small room with a blue canopy bed and walls of grey slate. Afterward, she proceeded to tend to her duties, then head to bed.
Around midnight, the door to Trace's room slowly creaked open, and and orcish figure was seen entering. Tiska crept over to trace's bed, and cautiously stood over him. His voice was an extremely low whisper "Sir.....sir wake up please.....bad here, bad man.....Father Rache bad man...."

A door opened in the middle of the room. Trace stood at the threshold, both hands glowing green. "You have less than a second to explain yourself." Past him, Ice was reading a book at a table in what looked to be a mansion that could not possibly exist in the room. If anyone walked into the chambers, they would only see the orc standing in shock with a hand through a sleeping man's chest.

Tiska turned around shakily "Shhh, bad man hear you, bad man has bad powers. Sir Trace not be seen!" He quickly but sneakily darted past them, and crept down the corridor. He stopped next to a door at the end of the hall, which was slightly ajar, but upon close listening, one could hear the voices within. Father Rache was speaking to a figure in signature puce robes, and Jinmaru was with her.

"Please understand, I have to have more time. These things don't just miraculously enter our possession, I am doing everything in my power to retrieve the Parilis Bible for you. Yog Sototh's revival will occur, and the door to the sanctum will be opened for you. Miss Gamaru, please, I do not need the assistance of your friend. I will honor my part of our bargain"

Ice dropped an invisibility spell on trace and the warmage Raced down the corridor, passing the orc without a single sound. He peered through the crack. He saw the man he assumed to be Father Rache speaking to a nother figure who he assumed was named Gamaru. The third was dressed in a shimmering red Yukata and was blowing smoke rings. Trace managed to squeeze through without opening the door much more. Much. The figure in red turned to gaze at the door that the foolish cultist had left open. He met Trace's eye, seeing past the invisibility.

"s**t!"
"You!"
They both shouted at the same time. Trace bolted out of the room before the others could react and grabbed the orc by the neck. He muttered the words that teleported him infront of the doorway to the private mansion and ran through the threshhold, slamming the door behind him. He looked accusingly at him. "You want to tell me why there's a DRAGON in your church kid?"
Ice looked up from his book "What?"
Trace looked up. "Yeah, you know the one that almost killed us on the plains of Nyos? He's here."

Tiska was shaking, having been frightened by the sudden rush "I....I...what! a Dragon! Where? Sister Apathie! Please, you must warn her if there is a dragon in the Church!" He tugged at Trace frantically. He was not like the typical orc, and instead of fearless viciousness, he exibited fright and care. His eyes showed it.

A loud Shriek came from Sister Apathie's room. The figure in robes let out a faint laugh "A present, Father, to remind you of our deal, and the penalty you will pay if you do not make good on your end of the bargain soon. I leave now, Jinmaru, I leave this in your hands, have fun, and try not to overexert yourself" She vanished as she teleported back to base.

Father Rache turned to Jinmaru and knelt "Please, I do not lie, all we have unearthed so far are clues to the whereabouts of the Parilis Bible. I believe it to be located somewhere in the old tower in the marsh to the north, a good week's time from here."

Inside her room, Apathie was in her nightgown, fighting off a large mob of blood puppets. She already had a large rip in her gown, with a nicely-sized bloody gash just above her left breast, which was exposed

Malsivir smiled wickedly as his "boss" left him. "Father," he said as he began to walk out of the room. He stopped when he felt that the priest wasn't following. He rolled his eyes and stuck the cigarette in the corner of his mouth. He beaconed with his finger and compelled him to follow. "You've got me all wrong. I'm not like those pricks you essentially sold your soul to." He arrived at Sister Apathie's room and opened the door. A blood puppet rose behind her, ready to strike. Jinmaru took a drag on the cigarette and snapped his fingers. The puppets burned up slowly. The room was rank with the smell of death. He eyed the nun and sucked air through his razor sharp teeth. He approached her as she stood paralyzed with fear from his aura. "Mmm, such a tasty morsel. Such a shame to waste." He eyed the blood dripping down her breast and ran his finger across the wound, healing it. He sucked the blood from his finger as he tore his gaze from her exposed form. He caught her eye and smiled. "Oh yes, I am very glad I arrived in time." He walked behind her, looking her up and down. "You see father, I believe you. Take a squad of my children with you to retrieve it. You have three days before I take your woman for myself." His eyes snapped from her buttocks to his eyes. "As I said. I'm not a p***k... I'm a full on d**k."

Father Rache trembled, then nodded "I understand. Sister, forgive me, I must go. Please, do not try anything foolish, and keep him company as best you can" He turned and headed off, with the newfound aid Jinmaru had placed into hsi command.

Sister Apathie covered her breast quickly, meyeing Jinmaru suspiciously "Don't think for once you frighten me!" She walked over to him and touched his hand "You act all tough but you are just a hordog, aren't you? Well, I'm no easy pleasy, so if you want some of this you'll have to get me in the mood." She thought about her actions; it was the only way she could keep Tiska out of it. She went over to her bed, beneath the red silk canopy, and laid down upon it, her butt in the air "Well, I'm waiting, you came to recieve one of my special massages, didn't you. Well, get your big sweaty muscles over here, and I'll give you a way to relax. Don't worry, I will be gentle" She knew what she was getting herself into, it was just like before. That time, ages ago, when she had been a mere teenage girl on her own. Her mother had been killed for stealing, and she had learned to get money through being an exotic performer. She was no whore, but she was damn good at making men horny, and she was quite the exotic dancer. But this, she knew, was something she had to do. She cared too much for Tiska, to allow him to be swept intot his. Still, she was not going to simply allow him to use her body so easily. Hopefully, help would arrive before that could happen. Three days, she would manage somehow.

Tiska was grunting and snorting "Come on, you guys just left her there! And you call yourselves good persons! Send me back right now, if you won't help, then I will save Sister Apathie myself" He went and grabbed a spear offr the wall, then stumbled and fell as he lost his balance due to the weight.

"Yeah you're a real freakin' hero, kid." The spear jerked itself back to the wall as soon as it hit the ground. Trace knelt and offered the youth his hand. "Look, I understand what you mean. My sister was kidnapped a few years ago. You know what I did? I dropped everything and charged full on into the search for her. I missed the clues in my haste and almost lost her forever. I can tell you care for Apathie very much, but you have to look at the clues. There was a dragon there. His name is Malisvir Jinmaru. He and the Agronauts have clashed before. We lost many good friends that day. I can only imagine how much stronger he's gotten."

"Ok, Trace we're ready."
Trace looked back to Ice and Michael. They were in full battle regalia.
"Hey kid, we might need your help." He pulled out a red jewel. When the fight gets heavy, Grab the nun and say this word." HE handed the jewel over. "Hatsuraka." He stopped the orc from repeating. "Only when you have the sister and are away from the battle. Understand?"

Tiska nodded "Alright, understand what to do. Then what do we do? We go back? Or wait and see what dragon person is planning?"

Malisvir licked his lips as she laid down. "Mmm, I'd love to, but..."His eyes glanced to the door. "Business before pleasure. That warmage was protecting an orcling. He must have been the informant. Time to hear roast pig." He used his telekineses to send her to the wall, spread eagle, and then he summoned manacles from the wall that strapped her in place. "And I can't let you get in my way, now can I? It would be such a shame to let you go to waste." He turned toward the door.

Sister Apathie growled struggling to break free "Don't you dare lay a finger on Tiska! Just what is it you people are planning to do!?"

"Tiska? Now I know the name of the little sausage." He reached the door just as it exploded. He knocked away the plank as it hit his arm, only to see the flash of steel as Michael slashed down on him. Two orbs of freezing energy slammed into him. With a roar, he began to grow as his hands became claws and he slashed furiously at the knight. He sucked in a breath and blew out fire so intense the stone around the doorway began to melt. A sheet of snow evaporated as it hit the lava, but did the job of cooling it down enough. With a sudden surge, Michael bashed the growing dragon with his shield, knocking him back. The fighter quickly closed the gap. Trace and Ice burst through the threshold. Ice caught the drake in the chest with another sphere of cold. Trace cast a spell and four tiny bots of acid flew toward Apathie.

"Go kid!" He shouted right before ducking under a slash from Jinmaru. They only had a short time before their adversary gained his footing. Malisvir looked down at the Agronauts and cursed. He had to distract them. His eye caught on Apathie's form. A shame they forced him into it. He called upon his innate magical abilities and prepared to cast a fireball on her.
