Zayaxa the first Final Fantasy that I played was FFX, but I remember my brother playing VIII and IX way before that. I still haven't played VIII, although I have every intention of stealing it off of my bf in the near future and playing it blaugh I have a feeling you'll greatly enjoy FFVIII. Not only does it have excellent gameplay, but the storyline is absolutely enthralling. Also, if you happen to like strong love stories, FFVIII is totally the game for you. Honestly, it's my favorite one in the entire series.

from what I've seen of it, it looks awesome. I'm playing VII again at the moment and my bf is playing VIII, but I'm sure I can get him to start playing VII again so I can play VIII xd
The storyline means everything when it comes to FF for me so to hear that it's "enthralling" makes me wanna play it even more!

My first Final Fantasy was the very first one, as well as mystic quest being the first one I could remember. Was memorable. (Hello everyone!)

My first Final Fantasy game was FFII/FFIV for SNES. It was my brothers, and I used to sneak downstairs to his room when he wasn't home to play his video games.

xKaruriex Well mine would be Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced sweatdrop Me too! I got it as well as Metroid Fusion for 40 bucks. I'm still playing this one, but, now I have the FF advance series to collect. biggrin Ahh, but the first one I beat was FFVII. And that was when I got Advent Children. But, yeah, FFVI is what really got me hooked. Oh, and before FF, I played Zelda, Mario and Pokemon. I still play them. pirate

My first Final Fantasy was IX. But the first one that I ever laid eyes on and really got to know was VII. I've known about Cloud since I was around 7 years old.

My first ff was X-2...My uncle let me play it and i was hooked on to it...then i made it my person goal to play all ff games( i think it maybe impossible...but oh well)...i was 10 or 12 i think... before that i played um...pokemon...or mario...i wasn't much of a gamer then...i was to much into yugioh

My first FF was FFX. I was borrowing it from a friend and I just got to playing the game. Now I have FFIX, FFX, FFX-2, FFXII. My system is a PS2. I owned a Nitendo beforehand and had KH, Haven, Dark Cloud, Tetris and SSX Tricky before I played any FF games

my first ff and second was mystic quest they weere the first two games we got when the nes came out and i owe it a ll to my dad

my first one was X-2 actually,
but i pretty much went X-2 straight down.
X-2
X
IX
VIII
VII
and the tactics and tactics advanced somewhere in there.
it's not my favorite, but X-2 was definately the easiest to beat.
xD
actually, i played VIII before IX xDD

My first FF was Mystic Quest: Legend if you want to count it, otherwise FFVII ( also the reason I got my PS1 in the first place).

Final Fantasy VII was my first about, uh, 2005, 2004?
I had just really gotten into video games and was asking my friends what to play... and they strongly suggested VII. Once I got over the graphics (by the end I was jumping down the throats of all who insulted it) I was utterly hooked, and when aeris died (I couldn't stand her) it sealed the deal. xd
