"Darn it." Lily sat up and rubbed at her forhead which was slightly red now. "I never was able to perfect that charm." She laughed to lighten Alyssa's mood and show it was alright to laugh.

Alyssa laughed slightly again and then stopped. She smiled and then said. "Well maybe i can help you?"

"Ok what i do is concentrate then i think of somthing happy and thats how i get the spell to work. Let me try it on that chair over there." She got her wand ready and started to concentrate then thought of somthing happy. She yelled, "Accio" With that the chair went over towards her and landed right in front of where she was standing. "Now you try."

"Alright, I'll try it with my transfiguration book on my bed." Lily looked at the her book and consentrated on it. "Accio." The book lifted, and began to come, but fell as it left the bed. "That was the worst atempt since I started." Lily was laughing, and just looked at the fallen book.

Lily put the book back on the bed, and stepped back to where Alyssa was standing. She concentrated on the book with all her strength, and took a couple deep breaths. "Accio." She shouted the spell, and ducked as the book flew at her hard and fell through the window behind her as it broke the glass. She could hear someone yelling from the grounds, but didn't know what they were saying since she was so high up. "Oh no."

"I am not going to try to summon it from the grounds." Though Lily was laughing she had a nervous look on her face. "Let me just go get it normally."

"The I can tell who ever I hit with the book I'm sorry." Lily smiled as she skipped out of the common room. When she reached the great hall she found Professor Mcgonagall with Lily's book.
"Professor, I'm very sorry."
"Miss Walker, why are you throwing books out the window?" Lily held her hand out for her book, but Mcgonagall held on to it.
"I was practicing the summoning spell, and as you can see it didn't work."
"20 points from Ravenclaw. Just make sure you're more careful." Mcgonagall shook her head and handed Lily her book.
When Lily had her book she ran back to Ravenclaw. "It's just my luck to have it hit Professor Mcgonagall." She sighed and flopped onto her bed with the book on her stomach.

Alyssa waited for Lily to come back. When she came in she smiled and asked, "Read to try again?"

"Sure, but I'm staying away from the window." Lily put her book on her bed and steped over to the wall before waving her wand. "Reparo." The window repaired. Then she consentrated on the book. "Accio." The book flew to her hand perfectly.
