Mordath

Mythbase: Unseelie Faerie
Powers: Inherant shadowmancy
Arcane wizardry.
Mordath is effectively an archmagius. He has a very strong innate magickal aura, and natural shadow magics(because of his bond with Sabin). But beyond that, all of his spells are learned (or remembered from his past life) and not innate. So while I wouldn't mind other fa'e learning magic, I would like to keep Mordath's place as the archwizard - he's got a fairly wide repotoire - though given his state as having learned the magic, he wouldn't be as powerful as any fa'e who has that power naturally.
NPCs: Tslanak, Wolf familiar, members of the unseelie court (whom I would be happy to share/plot with other people)
Restricted Features/Powers: In my mind, the strage spots in Mordath's hair and wings will eventually become a sort of arcane writing - so I'd like to keep that.

Powers: Empathy influence/control, pheremones, contortionsim, sex-based powers, sexual healing
NPCs: King Oberon, Lady Maeve
Restricted Features/Powers: Purple skin/red hair combo; Butterfly features (wings/attenae), sexual-based powers (I think between a Nymph, saytr, siren, and incubus we have this about covered by now, hm?), Empahthy/Emotion control. I'm more than happy for other people to explore fairies or fairy creatures if they don't mind working with the setting I've created with Purr/Titania

Okay, when I originally wrote this out it was like.. way long. Perhaps somewhere you can link it here for more detail/clarification?

Updated! I have included a link to the relevant diary post, Kamiki, but I think it'd be ok if you included all that in your post here... At least -- we put up the brief versions on the list for the sake of neatness and brevity, but I'd like to imagine that anyone coming across something that sounds vaguely like something they may have already will browse through this thread until coming upon the more expanded post. (WOW hooray for long sentences.)

@Meep -- I live to serve 8D ::salutes:: Seriously though, if I shorten an ability to something that does not accurately reflect it, poke me and I'll fix it :C

Powers: Mostly involving Dopplegaenger stuff and mirrors (based on the myth that Doppelgaengers are your reflection in the mirror, given freedom of movement). Current: Inducing hallucination, muscle and bone regeneration. Future: Polymorph self, mirror travel, mirror/soul binding, summoning freaky twisted mirror-creatures.
NPCs: The Five of Mirrors and Galatyne (all original, NOT Arthurian so no worries)
Restricted Features/Powers: Umm. Things related to mirrors. I'm easy, throw me a PM to discuss things ;D

Powers:
Entrance: 1: The ability to hypnotize through song, lulling the listener. (Undeveloped and Unpracticed. Unintentionally works two out of every ten times.) Lasts for 1d4 rounds unless 'awakened' as one would be from a daydream. 2: Works when wearing a low-cut shirt... Mostly on males. Must make save vs. breast weapon (DC 30) or risk drooling.
Shriek: High-pitched scream sounding much like the wind on cold, dark, winter nights. Stuns listener for 1d4 rounds. (Great for get-aways)
Vapor Manipulation: Able to form and manipulate creatures from dark, cloud-like vapors that seem too thick to be called from the sky... And too thin to be imaginary. Often done unintentionally when feeling threatened.
NPCs: All originally created. No need to worry here, folks.

Powers: Create both darkness & light, manipulate dreams to a limited extent, telepathy, and telekinesis.
NPCs: Zeus, Selene, and Nyx
Restricted Features/Powers: Manipulating dreams, creating both light and darkness unless pass down. As far as feature I would have to say the headwings, this is the only thing that made Aylana stand out and I want to keep it that way.

Mythbase: Shoggoth (based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft)
Powers: Minor weather affectations -- no real control to harness anything, but when she gets upset a storm brews or the waves pound the coast. On another note, cold does not seem to bother her all that much, though she does enjoy being warm; Minor aquatic animal empathy... she doesn't talk to them, but she generally gets along with any sea creature she meets and isn't in danger of being attacked; VERY MINOR shapechanging ability -- as a Shoggoth she was forced into a shape that please the Elder Ones... that, combined with her current form as a mermaid, allows her to temporarily lose her tail to allow for mating or giving birth. She has gills that allow her to breath underwater and lungs allowing her to breath on land... not really a power. She can see underwater, but cannot see in the dark (she does have more acute vision, but can't see in pitch-black). Hence, the deeper she dives and the less light there is, the poorer her vision gets.
NPCs: Cthulhu (Elder God) ; Mermaids in general... her reign as a God in the mer-realm is more legend among some tribes. So, if there is another mermaid Fa'e or aquatic Fa'e like Arkie who doesn't recognize her past or Cthulhu as a God, then that's fine. It's been ages and the stories were passed down such that only a small population fervently believes in her.

Mythbase: Kitsune (Japanese)
Powers: The ability to create and control illusions, although it will be very hard and take a lot of effort for him to perfect this ability.
I may or may not give Solo the ability to do minor possession of others as it's probably the only other major abilities kitsune have, depending on if any other Fa'e have it restricted or not, and it would only be used in the future. At this point I haven't really thought about it too much, so I have no idea what the extent of this ability would be.
NPCs: All are original, so no worries!
Restricted Features/Powers: Illusions. Since at this point it's Solo's only power, I'd rather no one else use it. Even if I DID add possession, he wouldn't be very good at it, as illusions are the focus. Also, multiple tails, as it's the tell-tail sign that he's a kitsune.

(Sosiqui edit: Putting in multiple fox tails; multiple tails in general is too broad... illusion is also too broad of a power base to reserve, PMing)

Additional note: If you're a future Guardian of a second generation Fa'e that was promised PRIOR to the guidelines going into place, your concept was approved under the old rules and stands there.

So if you're a future Guardian going "OH ********" at some of this, don't worry. XD; You're fine.

Powers: Protection aura, airwalking (NOT flying, this is totally different), minor animal understanding, very minor "gut feeling" about someone's alignment, Possible eventual hoof-strike lightning (not definate)
NPCs: Shen
Restricted Features/Powers: I'm really not particular, actually... The protection aura is the only thing I might be persnickety about, since it's her major ability.
