I work at home. My tutee comes to my house, I teach him for an hour, then he leaves. When I checked this thread and it said you were the last poster. But Sanee's post was the most recent one showing. MEANING: You posted and deleted it. Even if you delete posts the record of the last poster remains. And you get paid for tutoring? You can only do it voluntarily here me thinks.

Oh. I don't remember deleting anything...but if I did, it's probably for a good reason, one I can't remember.
My job tutoring is...not provided by the school. "School", as in the part of our state government, no. But I shall explain.
A certain math teacher in this school is friends with my calculus math teacher. She's trying to push her son, who attends a different high school, to take extra practice in Calculus BC. His grades aren't the highest, his teacher is insane, and it seems (at least according to her) that he only needs "pushing".
My calculus teacher approaches me and tells me to consider taking this job. I do, and after awhile of worrying about my stinky breath or my sloppy appearance or how the tutee will make me turn gay teaching confidently without forgetting what I have already learned, I decided to take the job offer. I was offered a salary of $50 an hour.
Honestly! I would rather help him for free. There's no need for payment for services rendered between friends, right? But she was not to be deterred. And I now earn $50 an hour.
He goes to my house once per two weeks for one hour. Sessions have improved.
And that is the story of how I got my first part-time job.
