The other giggled softly, "But you've done so much for me already... but... thank you." He cuddled up against the other, putting on a cute look, "What is it?"

Kassim chuckles a bit more, then holds up his hands in the surrender pose. "Alright, I give up. Actually, I can give it to you now, if you want...?" He asks, tilting his head slightly as he reaches for the small bag he had brought in with him.

He smiled, "Only if you want to, I really can wait..." He said, nuzzling up to the other, and looking over to the bag, despite his sudden instance of being fine.
He wasn't sure why, but he had a VERY good feeling about this present. He normally didn't like presents very much, they were normally heartlessly given, and rather cheesy. However, Luca knew the other probably took a lot of time to think about it, and knew he would love it.

Kassim blushes slightly as he hands the bag over to Luca. "It's two gifts, actually... A journal of your own. I picked one I thought would last awhile and would also look nice amongst your collection... And a rare book that I had managed to spirit away with me from my kingdom. It gives a more detailed history, along with all the rituals my people used to practice and why those with wings were treasured." He felt his face burning, and knew he was blushing badly.

"These are the most thoughtfull gifts I've ever recived, Kassim, truly." He looked at the journal, it being similar colors as his wings, yet somewhat old looking all at once. He kissed the other's cheek, "Thank you...."
The other flushed, remembering what the wings meant to the former princes people, "Tell me, why they're treasured? Please? Give me a bit of history before I read?" He took the books, tears filling his eyes a bit.

Kassim blushes again, then nods slightly. "One of the reasons wings are treasured has to do with one of our dieties. One who has ownership of or is mated to one with wings is considered in this particular God's favor, since he rarely granted wings to people in my country. This God was the one that had started the world, creating everything on the planet, in myth and legend, anyway... The other dieties showed up later and each chose their own area to reign over, be it the earth, the fertility of our people, specific creatures, or the weather. But the first God is hailed as the father of all. He was also the only one with wings out of our dieties. There are images of him and the others in the history book, if you ever want to see what he looks like." He said, looking over at the other again.

"So... I'm a God?" The other asked softly, before giggling, "Well, I never saw that coming..."
He curled against the other, "Or perhaps I was simply sent here by a God, to protect and love you?" He felt... well, special, even if the other didn't believe in the myth, as he had told him long ago back in the shop, he still felt as though he was something important.
He immediatly sat up, "Kassim... I just... what if they were to see us together! Wouldn't they flee cause I'm a God like figure?"

Kassim thinks, then shakes his head. "No, they wouldn't flee. These aren't my own people that are hunting me down, remember, but a different kingdom that have their own gods that they follow and obey, unfortunately." Secretly, he agreed with the second reason for Luca being near him. He DID feel loved and protected by the angel next to him, and he wasn't afraid to admit that to anyone.

He let out a disappointed sigh, "I'm sorry, I wish there was more I could do... but thank you, for the gifts I love them, I do so much." He curled a bit closer to the other, a yawn escaping his lips, they had been in the room for awhile, simply talking and planning.
"Well, I'l make sure nothing happends to you... okay?"

Kassim lets out a small chuckle and wraps his arms back around Luca as the other yawns. "Alright... And I'll do the same for you, to the best of my ability. I'll keep an eye out, if you want to rest your eyes for a bit..?"

He laid down, pulling the other with him, "My door is deadbolted, you don't have to stay up all night..." He said with another small yawn, and curled closer to the other, small wings folding in against himself, "So don't make yourself to tired okay?"

Kassim curls closer to Luca as the angel pulls him down against him. "Alright." He said, smiling a bit before closing his eyes, his head tucked under Luca's chin as he fell asleep.

The next morning found Luca cooking breakfast, eggs and bacon for breakfast. He poured a couple glasses of orange juice. He leaned against the counter, "I hope you're hungry."
