Sirea quieted at Sabel's remarks and looked down at her feet shamefacedly, ears laid back. She hadn't meant to bug the other girl, in fact, she'd kinda been hoping they could get to be friends. However, the hyena's manner suggested that she was getting fed up with even those already around her. Some people just weren't happy no matter what. But still she didn't have to be so cold to me.

Tex saw Sirea's reaction and slipped one muscular arm around her thin shoulders pulling her close to him. "S'awright, sugar, sometimes you just gotta let people stew things out on their own. I think that ones just a little bit scared and trying to hide it. She's not tryin' ta be mean I don't think, seems like she's just not feelin' very good herself. It's no reason for you to get downhearted, I'm sure she'll be more abiding in time." He whispered to Sirea gently. "Now why don't you cheer up and give me one o those beautiful grins of yours?"

Sirea was surprised at the man's affection but his words were soothing. At his request she looked up, but she was already smiling. It seemed he could help her smile just by being around. "You're a nice guy Tex. Thank you for being so kind to me."

"No trouble for me little lady, it's more than worth seeing your pretty face." He said with a grin. "You really are such a sweetheart. Did you know that? You're beautiful too, who cares if your ears are a little long." He smiled stroking one of her velvety soft ears, then gently brushing her cheek.

Sirea blushed at his unfailing friendliness. She wondered if they had known each other before. Maybe he was an uncle or big brother... She wondered but the thought made her sad, because there was one thing she wanted him to be that was incompatible with the other two. A boyfriend. He was already like her bodyguard.
OOC: The last line is a subtle hint as to her fate, eh Ermak? Which reminds me, I know a part your friend Kris Manga-jin could play in this.

A young man stirs, slowly waking. Everything seems very vague. He senses that he is confined in a small place and tries to control his breathing as he explores his surroundings with his hands. The flexible substance that encloses him is smooth to the touch but yields rather easily at first, although not very much. The air seems thin and he fights down a wave of panic and tries to concentrate on getting out. He puts his hands together and pushes upward with them as if they were the point of a knife. The material gives slowly and then tears. Acting quickly and ignoring the thoroughly unpleasant feel of the external air in his lungs, he pushes his hands out and grips the material, tearing a wide opening. He sits up as quickly as he can and manages to get off the 'bed' before he realizes that he feels very heavy. His sides start to hurt and a surge of pain through his head drops him to his knees. A vague thought crosses his mind just before the pain and the gasses force him into unconsciousness. A memory of a voice calling to him and a single word, 'Lune'.
He gradually regains consciousness, shifting his body slightly. His eyes snap open and he winces at the light. Two of his eyes close, eyes too high on his head. He opens his mouth in surprise and feels mandibles obey him. Everything around him snaps into focus with the surge of adrenaline. He tries to struggle to his feet. His carapace covered hands make clacking sounds when they strike the floor. His balance is all wrong and he sits down hard on the floor with a thump. He pauses for a moment, trying to take stock of his situation. Alright... I have a carapace, mandibles and a second pair of very sensitive eyes. While he thinks, he adjusts his tail to make his seat a little more comfortable and freezes. A tail!? He moves it again, feeling its range of motion and shape before turning to look at it. Great... I'm a scorpion... He blinks all four eyes for a moment. That means... He looks down and then up again. Yep... two additional limbs... His eyes glaze over briefly and he shakes his head to clear them. The two clawed grippers that now extend from the middle of his torso on either side are covered in the same shiny black carapace as the rest of him. He scratches his head as he tries to figure out how to move around with such a wierd body and discovers yet another surprise. Well... I'm not bald. His dark blonde hair sits like a badly made toupe on top of his head. His entire body is covered in a black shining carapace with that one exception. Lune shrugs the shoulder joints of his four upper limbs and tries to stand up, achieving only nominal success. With one hand and a gripper on the wall and the other pair of upper limbs prepared to catch him if he falls Lune begins to proceed down the passage. The strange scent in the air doesn't bother him quite as badly as it did before but he still wants to get away from it.

Aion glanced at Sabel, relieved beyond words to have a distraction from the sickening discussion taking place behind him, his ears perked forward as he considered her question, "It...well I suppose it could be." He answered hesitantly, "The walls seem to indicate something scientific..." then he chuckled as another thought crossed his mind, "I can't really see someone's living room decorated like this can you?" He smiled and puzzled over whether or not Sabel's ear would be as soft as Sirea's apparently was. This thought was dashed quite thoroughly from his mind however when a glimpse of something in the room down the hall sent his fur frizzing out in a remarkable imitation of a terrified cat. The small clacking sound which had caught his attention vanished from his mind when the carapaced...thing crossed his view from the hall. Without even knowing what he was doing or how he'd gotten there, he found himself crouching on all fours, fur a blazing black halo around him, with a deep growl issuing from his throat. Even with his teeth bared threateningly his tail was still tucked tightly underneath him in his terror.

Lune turns his head, having heard the faint sound of voices and a strange growl. Unfortunately his unfamiliarity with his modified body causes him to lose his balance and fall foreward with a loud cracking sound in the process of turning. He winces slightly, as much as his new face will allow such movement, and tilts his head up to look down the hall and through a door and into the eyes of an obviously terrified wolf-man. The wolf-man's tail is tucked and his fur is bristling in an extremely pronounced manner as he crouches on all fours. Lune pushes himself up to 'stand' on all six limbs. His body is close to the floor and the significant mass of his tail sways slightly as he finds his balance in this posture and then rests still in the manner of a scorpion, the stinger tucked back. His black carapace shines in the light and his dull blonde hair sits in a tousled mass on his head, almost comically. He twitches his mandibles, delicate and thin as they are, and tries to speak aloud. His first attempt comes out as a collection of clicks and airy whistles.
His second effort achieves greater success. "Shellso? Shyoo are... likesh meh?" The mandibles are obviously making speach more difficult.
His frustration is apparent from his twitching and attempts to keep the mandibles out of the way. He finally decides to wait for a reply before attempting to speak again, standing there quiet and still on all six limbs. His gaze is directed straight into the eyes of the terrified wolf-man without fear or aggression in evidence. His emotions are difficult to read with his carapace being composed of rigid units but his mandibles move slightly in a restless and tense manner.
((I thought that I should let you all know that I will be absent from Thursday the 21st through the following Tuesday while visiting family.))

Sabel began to laugh at the thought of anyone attempting to decorate their living room in such an overly sanitized manner. Then she turned to see the hulking black scorpion-man. With a very loud shreik of "Gods what the heck is that??" she leapt back making a much less useful human sheild while her furr spread out in a singularly extroirdinary manner. giving her the appearance of having grown to almost twice her size, quite rediculous as well.OOC: Here is a picture of what a scared striped Hyena looks like!

Sirea stared at the creature that shuffled out, whimpering deep in her throat. She was too frightened even to scream in her terror. She swooned, clutching onto Tex's arm for support, trembling against his reassuringly muscular physique. She listened to Tex's strong deep voice as he began calmly introducing himself, and when the equine introduced her she shyly spoke up with a tremulously squeaked. "Hi."
OOC: Oh, and contrary to certain beliefs *glares at Furry-chan*, no, Sirea isn’t girly enough to faint at the sight of danger, she does have some backbone you know.

OOC: You know Furry, I''m not exactly thrilled you stuck me with a bad guy role...
Murky red brown eyes opened and gazed around alertly, the first thing he noticed was that the chamber beside him was empty, both chambers he realized shortly afterward. But why is that important? He wondered in frustration, why did it worry him that two others were gone? He''d gotten free of his own chamber easily enough, by some instinct he''d known where there was a weak spot along the bindings. The same instincts had him reaching for his side where he felt only Fur?! He looked down at himself and found he was heavily covered in a mat of thick snowy white fur. He gazed at his hands in disbelief, long black claws extended from his fingers. With these strange hands he reached to his face and found a long powerful muzzle and jaws. Running further along his head he felt two round ears on the top. He took a few shaky breaths and then for the first time in his life screamed in horror. It came out as a bellowing roar that echoed around the ship.
