Flower watched him, hoeping and praying the men wouldn't hurt Fremont. His heart thudded nervously and he had to keep himself from paceing as he watched.
The men, surprised by this sudden charge, dove into their truck. One, the most scared of them it seemed, started the engien and pulled away, speeding as fast as he could. Shouts of anger from the other men drifted back.
The girl looked on, amazed. "You know they'll come back." seh said, petting Flower gentley. "and you just scared off my only ride out of here." she sighed before laughing lightly.

Fremont trotted back to the others, surprised that they got scared so easily. He nuzzled the girl an then Flower as well.

The girl pet Fremont a bit. "thank you, brave stallion." she said, smiling. "But i have no way of getting home now." she said, sighing. "I supoose i can walk. i need the exercise."
Flower smiled a little and nuzzled Fremont back. "Thank you Fremont." he said.

Fremont smiled and dropped to his knees so he was low enough for the girl to get on his back.

The girl blinked, obviously surprised by Fremont's actions. She looked at Flower. "Assuming, by the way you two act, this stallion is your mate...you have vary nice tastes." she said, smiling. "He has got to be the sweetest stallion i have ever met." She then walked to Fremont and mounted, a bit cautiously.
Flower smiled, a blushed a bit. Personally...he had to agree with the girl. Fremont was the nicest stallion he had ever met as well, and the best mate he could have asked for.

Fremont grinned at the compliment and stood up cautiosly so not to accidentally make the girl fall. He waited for her to tell him where to go.

The girl sat a moment, thinking. She wouldn't go back to the men...so...her only option was to get back home...which was a few states away. "Can you take me to the nearest house? i'll need to get a plane to take me all the way home." she said, smiling lightly.
Flower stepped closer to Fremont and nuzzled him. He was just so happy...well for one that htye were both ok, and two, that they could help this human...who seemed to be alot like the two of them were when they had been captured.

Fremont nuzzled him back, still not sure if it was the right thing to do. "Which is closer?" He asked. "Lita or Nata's house?"

the girl giggled at the two. "Aww, arn't you two the sweetest things i have ever seen! tho i feel a bit sorry for the mares around here. a pair of handsom stallions like yourselves, and both taken. the good ones are always gay...i guess that holds true in the animal kingdom as well." she smiled.
Flower thought. "um...i belive Nata's is...least i'm pretty sure." he said. "and lets hurry a bit...i wanna talk to you." he said. He knew the human couldn't understand them, but he still felt uncomforatable about talking with others around, 'specially when it was somthing a bit private.

"Alrighty then." Fremont nodded and started trotting to Nata's house. He stumbled a bit, not used to the extra weight on his back but regained balance.

When Fremont stumbled the girl let out a startled noise and clung to his neck. she gulped. "uh...mabye this wasn't such a good idea..." she said, looking down before she looked up quickly.
Flower lightly touched the girl's arm, to tell her that shewould be ok and that Fremont wouldn't drop her.

As they got closer to Nata's house, Fremont could hear a faint sound of growling. "Hershey!" He called. "It's just us."
Hershey went out through the overly sized dog door that he barely could fit into. "Oh, I thought I smelled something else." He said, looking up at the girl on Fremont's back. "Who's the girl?"

Flower stepped back. He knew Hershey was a good couger, but he wasn't...to fond of the big cats...it was just in born in him to run from them. He stayed a little bit behind Fremont, and as close to him as possible.
THe girl's eyes widdened. She clung to Fremont once more, obviously scared of the large cat tht had just appeared.

Herhsey stepped up to the girl and nuzzled her hand, determined to make her see he was a good kitty.
Fremont looked at Flower. "Everything alright?" He asked, seeing his reaction to Hershey.
Nata stuck her head out of the door to see what all the fuss was about. "Why hello." She said, patting Fremont. "Who do you have here?"
