"He's the best hide-and-seeker I've ever played with! Boy, I need to think about this for a minute.." He said dramatically as he walked over and sat in the chair Eli was hiding under, but being careful about it. "I've looked everywhere, and I can't find him! He's just way too good, Coen. He's probably right under our noses, and we just can't find him!" He said, glancing down at the fuzzy blue tail poking out from under the chair, still stifling his giggling.

Unable to hold it in any longer, Eli let out all his penned-up giggles in one explosive snort. When he finally recovered, he shimmied out from under the chair and popped up between the two older hybrids. "I was right here da who' time!" x3

Jazz squeaked in mock surprise, then burst into a fit of giggles. "So you were! I had no idea where you were, Eli! You're the best hide-and-seek-er ever! Would you like me to hide this time?"

Coen stuffed a piece of jerky into his mouth to keep from busting out laughing. Jazz, in his opinion, was a damn good actor. Regaining his composure, the lion leaned against a wall and watched the proceedings.
"Yush! I be'chu I'll be able to find you like that," Eli said, unsuccessfully trying to snap his fingers. He still hadn't quite gotten the hang of it yet..

The mouseboy giggled again, then got up. "Okay, I'll go hide, but you're so good I bet you'll find me really quick! Now start counting to 20, or maybe have Coen help you in case you forget some of the numbers, but I bet you're really good at counting," he said with a smile, then waited for Eli to cover his eyes and begin counting before flitting off into the next room to hide.

Elijah was actually very good with numbers and counted all the way to 20 without any assistance from Coen. "Ready er nawt, 'ere I come!" he called, then looked to Coen expectantly.
The big lion looked to the right then turned his head and looked to the left before he brought his gaze down to the diminutive foxboy. "What?"
The little hybrid threw up his hands in childish exasperation. "Tell me where he went!" he whispered roughly, crossing his arms and tapping his foot.
"I dunno. I didn't see," Coen lied, unable to look Eli in the eyes.

Jazz stifled a giggle as he heard the conversation, mostly from Coen, and he remained still. Then he thought.. would Eli be able to find him there? He thought for a moment, then nodded to himself. If Eli seemed to have trouble, he'd 'forget' that one of his body parts was poking out, maybe his tail or an ear, and Eli could find him that way.

Annoyed, Eli huffed and went into the next room. He stopped to survey the layout then proceeded to execute a thorough inspection, checking under and behind everything.
Coen watched the little foxchild with amused interest, tracking his progress across the room. Eli really was good at hide and seek...

The little mouse stifled another giggle as he remained still. He'd give it until the next whisper-conversation between the other two before he'd make himself a little easier to see. Who knows? Maybe Eli was super good at the seeking part. He wondered if Eli would be able to find him inside one of the cabinet/closet things.

Just when Eli got to Jazz's hiding spot, Coen sidled over to the little foxchild and asked, "Having any trouble, Eli?"
"No, thank yew ver' much," he sniped, throwing open the door while he was looking over his shoulder at the big lion. "I dun need any he'p from you."

He had to try very hard not to burst out giggling, waiting for Eli to notice him before he came out. Maybe Eli wouldn't notice him..? No, he probably would, he assumed. He didn't blend in that well with the closet contents. Either way, he remained silent and still, waiting for the little foxchild to find him.

Coen saw Jazz over Eli's shoulder and bit his lip, trying not to giggle. "Ok, ok. You don't need my he'p...er, help. I get it. I'm going, I'm going," he said, putting his hands up to ward the little one off before he turned tail and ran the hell away. It wouldn't do to go laughing at Elijah..
Satisified by Coen's apparent groveling, he turned back to his work...and nearly jumped out of his skin when he saw Jazz sitting there. Recovering instantly, he shouted, "I found yew!!"

The mouseboy burst into a fit of giggles and climbed out of the cabinet. "Yes you did! You're so good at hide-and-seek! Okay, it's your turn to hide, so I'll count!" He giggled more, then closed the cabinet and covered his eyes, starting to count so Eli could go hide. He'd have to find a really good hiding spot next time.. "One, two, three..."

Eliu squealed with glee at the praise he got for his awesome hide and seek skillz. And the second Jazz closed his eyes, the little foxboy took off running in search of a hiding place.
Coen watched as Eli flew passed him then he got up and wandered in the direction the fox had come from, bag of jerky in hand. "So what'd he do when he turned and saw you?" he asked when he found Jazz. "I didn't risk sticking around 'cause he always beats up on me if I laugh at 'im.."

"He nearly jumped ten feet in the air," he said with another giggle, uncovering his eyes and turned to look at Coen. "He's really cute, though. I'd better go find him before he gets impatient, though." He giggled, then called loudly so Eli could hear, "18, 19, 20! Ready or not, here I come!" Then skipped into the other room, his tail twitching behind him, still giggling.
