"Two girls and a guy, sounds like th'crew oi met. She did look n'more 'an ten." Now that he thought about it. If she was talking about Wing Ting, that girl WAS tiny... and she acted so young and ...excitable.
As far as the compliment went, he was amused she thought so highly about his potential. "Thanks. 'Ere's 'open." He drank more of the tea, setting the near-empty cup aside. "Oi'd like to 'ave somethin to show the Ringmaster for th'next place we stop at. Got a lot o'work cut out for me."

Ankita tried to think for a moment and took a large sip from her tea.
"Well... if there's anything I can do to help, don't be afraid to ask." She smiled nervously.
Sarava had bad images coming to mind. Please ommit me from any plans regarding sharp knives and whips in whatever scheme you have at getting yourself a bit of tail. I like being alive. She took another berry and popped it into her mouth.

"Ah, oi'll keep that in mind." Charlot replied, leaning back against the opposite side of the chaise. "Oi'm far off from needin' a live target, so n'worries 'bout that."
He tilted his head, glancing up to where Sarava was eating the berries. "Oi'm still waitin on me knives to get finished. Phillipe is makin' me a new pair since me old ones......... 'fell apart'."

Ankita frowned a little in hopes that this would become an excuse to spend more time with him.
"Phillipe?" Ankita tilted her head slightly. "I'm not quite sure if I've met him yet."

"E's over there somewhere-T'th north of the camp." Charlot pointed vaguely to the north of the camp from where he was sitting. "In'a big blacksmithin' tent. Oi imagine 'e cn'fix all manner of metal... things. If y'need anythin repaired Oi could take y'to 'im."
He shrugged, giving off the sound or sari fabric rustling. He was all for walking around the circus grounds with her, it was a lot more fun with a friend- by far. Not to mention, for someone who'd been there awhile Ankita felt like a shy person who didn't know many people around the camp.

Ankita smiled, nodded and the thought of purposely breaking something as an excuse to spend more time quickly popped into her mind, but she quickly shook her head. That would be quite sad if she did in fact try it just to be around him more, and she decided she'd settle just fine for him staying with her for a little while.
For a moment she simply sat there, smiling at him until she finally realized that her expression would most likely cause a bit of discomfort. Quickly, she shook her head, sitting up straight, and tried to think of a means of recovering from her moment of day dreams,
"So... uhm, the cards. Thank you again for them." She smiled sheepishly, in hopes that he hadn't seen her enamered stare.

Charlot had been content just figuring out what the hell Ankita was grinning about. His hugs must've been more powerful than he thought. He glanced back at the tea kettle, wondering if the water was still warm enough to make them another cup of the chai.
"Would y'like another cup o'chai, Miz Anky'ta?" He'd finished his a while back. "..is there somewhere we get food.. or d'we just travel to th'town an pick some up for ourselves? Oi'm no ace cook, but oi coul' figga somethin out."
At the cards comment, he smiled. "Ah, no problem. Oi enjoyed makin' them f'you. Gimme a couple days an oi'll 'ave you playin like a pro."

Ankita had always kept a stash of chocolates and cookies in her dresser and in a small chest tucked away in a larger trunk under her bed, away from public sight. Despite her being one for sharing, just because she was caring, she was somewhat stingy about sharing her sweets. It wasn't, however, as if she didn't have an over-abundance of it. She just liked making sure there was a good portion of it in stock in case she had a craving for it.
She thought for a moment, bitting her lip and fidgeting her fingers before she decided to allow him some.
"I've got some cookies and chocolates in my dresser." She pointed in what appeared to be a vague indicator of what direction her dresser was in. "And under my bed.." She moved her finger further to the right. There was a reason why most people never ventured into the trunk. It was the only place she could really keep her underwear since her dresser was filled with other items since it made for easier access. But she had forgotten about her underwear filled trunk for a moment since she was more fixated on the depletion of her sweet supply.

Charlot considered his options for a moment. The dresser probably had other personal items in it.. since well, it was a dresser. A trunk under the bed sounded like a more suitable place for stashing ones sweets and cookies. Not that sweets would be good for eating as a dinner substitute, but it would do for now.
At least, until he convinced her to wander into town with him.
Since she didn't answer the chai question, he assumed she didn't want anymore. He shifted off the chaise, moving over to kneel beside her bed to look for a case, box, or something that might hold the cookies and candy treats she mentioned.
"Alright, oi'll give it a look." He leaned down, peering under the bed carefully before spotting a pretty decently sized trunk. He reached under, grabbing it and tugging it free from the depths of the under-bed. This must be it.. since it was one of the only things under the bed that didn't scream, 'SARAVA PUT THIS HERE DONT TOUCH'.
He popped the lock, pushing open the top... green eyes widened slightly at the sheer abundance of underthings and not... cookies.
"Er... Oi don't think oi can eat these with tea."

Ankita furrowed her eyebrows for a quick moment before an expression of complete shock and embarassment overwhelmed her once she realized that it was, in fact, her underwear trunk she had sent him after, and should have put more emphasis on the dresser. Her face became hot from the large rush of blood, and she bit her lip, trying to think of what to say to ease the situation. She didn't want to tell him to dig for it, since she had hid the chest underneath her 'unmentionables', but not saying anything at all might make it appear as though it was some trap to get him to view her undies for whatever reason there might be to trick someone into viewing your undies. ... That were not on you.
She cringed for a moment, clenching her tea cup tight in her hand, trying to think of a way of getting out of this in the most respectable fashion. Sarava, on the other hand, viewing the entirety of this from the comfort of her hammock, gave snorts of amusement. I like having him around.
"Uh. Well. Uh." She began to stutter in embarassment. "You.. you kind of have to...dig.. in..." She whimpered quietly, making slight hand gestures of digging. "OR!. You could go to the dresser." She gestured over in the other direction.

Charlot couldn't help but laugh. "Appears oi found y'lacy bits, NOT cookies." He noticed how embarassed she was by it, and brushed off any discomfort- he wasn't bothered by it at all.
He shut the trunk, shifting to sit ontop of it as he pondered for a moment. "Oi think i'll just settle f'walkin into town later. Your sweet snacks and underthings are better without me paw prints left across em."

Ankita at this point was covering her face in embarassment, groaning at her own mistake. There was a slight relief that came from the trunk closing and hearing his voice. She winced slightly as she nodded,
"Going into town sounds good." she said quickly, still filled with embarassment.

"Whot?" Charlot walked over to her, placing his hands onto hers and moving them from her face so he could hear her better. She'd been muffled otherwise. "D'you want t'go with me? If you'd rather stay, oi can pick you up something and bring it back quick. No problem a'tall."
He blinked, looking down at his clothes. "Oi'd 'ave t'change, of course..."

Ankita's face, rather than cooling off, began to heat up further as he touched her. She nodded sheepishly, smilng and cocking her head slightly.
"I... would love to go." she laughed quietly at his comment, remembering that he was still most likely in her Sari, "Well you could always start it as a fashion statement?"

"Oi could... but even in 'ere it's a wee bit drafty. Oi don't think I'd like t'take me chances outside in that weather."
Charlot collected thier cups and set them aside, pushing the trunk back under her bed. He then moved around the room collecting his bits of clothing he'd hung to dry. They were a lot better than before, so he had no problems slipping back into his pants and shirt and setting the sari he'd used aside.
"D'ya need anythin' b'fore we go?"
