stare I honestly don't ******** understand how people can think that way! I just dont' get it! Does she believe that EVERY Roman Catholic Priest raped all their little boy choir members? ((Not saying it's true, just using it as an example))

Thats definitely messed up, but it sounds like my mom as well. She doesn't go THAT far, but she does say extremely rude things about how its gross. Like she'll make rude (immature) comments like "EWWWWW", like when we were watching an episode of 'Parental Control' on MTV. Ugh. Parents. And ignorant people.

Dear s**t, some people are impossible -__-;;;
I remember, I've ranted about this before. Just because someone is gay/bisexual/etc., doesn't mean they want to ******** every member of the gender(s) they're attracted to. It always gets on my nerves when someone hints that they think otherwise.
A few months ago, I was hanging out in the back of the school with my friend and his now-ex-girlfriend. She made this cute face, arguing that it even worked on girls. Not wanting to confuse, I said I was bi. Her eyes widened a little and she backed away. I didn't want to lash out at her, but it was not cool. stressed

Rape is rooted in two things and two things only: lust and control. Last time I checked, EVERYBODY ON THE PLANET had those emotions at one time or another. Rapists just have them stronger and more often.
*sighs* Man, sometimes I'm very happy that I grew up sheltered from the issues in the lower 48...

I feel your pain! Living in South Carolina, though not as bigoted as Alabamans(???), they're pretty frickin' thick-headed. I've lost friends and changed schools, and pretty much been called a rapist... yeah, like I could rape anyone when I was TWELVE!

So it seems like there are more. The same holds true for the airplane-to-car death ratio. More people die in car accidents every year than plane crashes, but we're more afraid of the planes becuase they're so much more publicizd. Silly media idiots. xp Good point I agree! I thank god that my mom is very understanding about homosexualitY! Yet I haven't come out yet because I'm not veru sure of what I am! I'm like a 4 the kinsey scale but I don't how to explain that! We both hate a lot of things abput the bible and catholic church yet she is still a devout but rational catholic woman! Yay! The Kinsey scale! I'm like a 2. But the Klein Grid is a lot more accurate, but not so easily summed up.

Oh, and tell your mom that, assuming her theory is correct, and that gay does equal rapist, what difference would it make whether the gay person next door is married or single? Hm? mad

Moocat My friends think I'm going to rape them at sleepovers. They were really against me sleeping in the same bed as any of them. And my other friend won't let me do so much as hug her before she freaks out. same here! the first sleepover i ever went to, and whenever i would go near them, they would shout 'Don't molest me please!' that really hurt.
