Nothing really seemed to happen. Tsai grabbed his canteen and took a sip of water from it. He walked to his backpack and grabbed a towel to wipe the sweat from his hands and forehead and tossed it aside. He proceeded back to the tree to continue to cut the trunk. Tsai threw a slash at the tree like before, using only the power of the arm and the wrist.

The tree started creaking more and more. It seemed the tree was turning highly unstable now. The wedge was also made. Tsai could start on the opposite side and bring the tree down. He walked over to the other side of the tree with delight and prepared to cut the tree down. His biceps were tense from all this repetitive chopping, he threw another slash at the tree, opposite from the other cut.

The tree would be coming down soon. It's swaying was increasing with each slash Tsai delivered to it. Tsai quickened the pace of his slashes. He quickly pulled out his zampakuto from the tree and slashed at it again without hesitation.

The tree was swaying more and more with every stroke. Tsai stopped and paused to make sure it didn't topple on him while he was chopping it. The tree was swaying back and forth but the wedge Tsai had made had already decided which way the tree was going to land. Tsai continued to slash at the tree with quickened pace.

The last attack didn't seem to do much to the tree. "I must be getting tired," he muttered to himself and stabbed his zampakuto into the ground. He then dropped and sat down and took a breath. "I wonder if Hollow's have hard skin like this tree?" he asked as he looked at the sun, which seemed to have moved. "Break's over.." he said as he got up and plucked his sword from the ground. He then turned and slashed at the cherry tree.

The tree continued to sway in the direction the wind blow it. Tsai climbed up again, he had to cut the branches up top to make sure no factor would change the landing point of the tree when it fell. He threw a slash at one of the larger branches.

The branch fell, Tsai proceeded to the last branch. He didn't have a platform to stand on, so he grabbed the tree trunk with both his legs and with both his hands slashed at the branch. It was not a very powerful slash since Tsai was in a very awkward stance.

The large branch fell, so did Tsai, he couldn't hang onto the tree with his legs. "Ow Ow Ow Ow..." he said getting up and rubbing his back. He had landed on soft grass but the fall was still painful. He got up and dragged the branches to the pile. Now one thing remained: the main trunk of the tree. Tsai walked over and kicked the tree. "Your going down" he said trying to regain his breath.
He paused for a second then picked up his zampakuto from the ground and got ready to deliver another strike at the tree. He then waited and slashed at the tree with the same power as before.

The tree started to lean away from the waterfall, Tsai waited for a bit to see if it was actually going to fall. Tsai would have to finish it off. He quickly swung his blade at the tree.

The tree fell over, but it was still slightly connected to the stump. Tsai slashed at it with half the force he usually used. "Finally finished" he said as he wiped the sweat from his forehead and looked at the wood. He had enough to make maybe 10 dummies, more than he had imagined.

The tree continued to fall a bit more as the tree's connection to the stump was being cut by Tsai. Tsai then slashed with full force with his zampakuto with one hand to severe the connection and finish cutting down the tree.

The tree had fallen now. It was now time to get to work on the dummies. The sun was still up, it would probably be sunset in a few hours. Tsai walked to the waterfall to wash his face with his towel that he had brought. His biceps were aching as well. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to continue work, but he had to push himself to the limit if he wanted to call this 'training'.
Tsai quickly washed his face and grabbed his zampakuto. He started to cut the lumber into smaller pieces and stacked them.
Soon after, he began carving the heads and body parts of the dummies he would put into the cave for training. Soon enough, many of the parts were finished before sunset. He fitted them together, and voila!
10 wooden dummies were made, Tsai could practice Hakuda, Hoho and Zanjutsu now by himself and he had the material. He picked one of them up and admired his own creation.

He sheathed his zampakuto and carried two dummies to the hole. He pushed both of them through, then crawled in to put them in different spots for training. He did this with all the other dummies until they were all inside the cave.
Now, he needed to cover up the cave so people would not find it. He looked around, there wasn't much. There was a decent sized boulder and some leaves. Tsai moved over and tried to pick up the boulder. No use, it was too heavy. He grabbed the leaves and covered the hole. It was perfect, no one would know it was there.
Tsai was tired, and it was about time for him to return to the academy. He made his way back.

Spar With Mai Takahashi
Tsai arrived at the Waterfall Caves from the academy. The spar with Kenosha was tiring. He walked towards the falls and sat there. The sprays of water was quite pleasant.
Tsai ran to the hole in which the opening to the caves were. He crawled in and grabbed a dummy and brought it out for training.
He first hammered the dummy into the ground and began hakuda training on it using different styles of kung fu which he learned when he was still alive.
