Is it the Hatch or Sedan?
PostPosted: Sun Apr 22, 2007 9:24 pm

I was gonna get the hatch, but I've decided on getting a truck. Soooo....I found a 2002 Ford F150 with 61k miles on it for the same price as the Versa, even a little cheaper, and I'm thinking about getting it.

My mom wants me to get a truck, to pull my Trailer.
I want a S10, because it's better than the Newer Gas Guzzlers.

I was going to get a 2003 S10, but the extended cab is tiny as hell. Sure, it was only $10,000, but I found that F150 for $14,000, and it has a much bigger extended cab, puls a higher carrying/hauling capacity.

This will for sure soon be my 'whip'.

Yayness. A 2-4 barrel setup, 302, wrapped headers, an insane torque converter, newly restored engine, enlarged pistons, the works. I'm planning to put a super or turbo charger once it's mine.

And it just smoked a BMW X 3.

(You wouldn't quite be able to get that F-150 if this truck wasn't launched.)
I'm acting like a snob, aren't I?

Eh, I'm not big on Fords. The main reason that I am getting it is because it's got more room than the S10 I was looking at. Plus, all of the other Chevy's are like 16k and above, so this was the next best choice.

Heh, I'm indecisive, I know. But I want a good car. I'm now looking at a 1964 Chevy Impala. It's got the 327 V8 and a 2 speed powerglide trans. All original interior. The only problem is that it's a gas guzzler, there's some rust on it, and that some of the Impala lettering is missing on the driver's side. The guy's asking $5,500 for it, and it has 70k or 80k miles on it, I think....

Another option is to keep my Civic and drop a new engine and transmission in it, as well as doing the rest of the work that it needs. I still don't know what I'm gonna do, so, give me any ideas or suggestions that you got.

I know! This is a little weird, but here goes!

*ahem*
Buy the Impala, fix up the engine, steam clean it, get super-dark tinted windows, and get the lettering. Get an EBay account, sell the Impala with the reserve at 6K, then, after you get that done, here is what else you should do:
Get super dark tinted windows, shoot it at an angle so people could see the rust (hey, you have to be truthful, y'know, or you could get a picture at an angle so it wouldn't show any rust), and say lots of positive things about it.

Well, was that wierd or what? After that, THEN you have even more money to drop the engine into the civic. xP

There's one problem with that though. I don't have the money. Just to buy it, I'd have to take a loan out. What I've pretty much decided to do is to keep my car and fix it up. Or I might look at getting another Civic that's a manual and buy that.

Then do the same thing with the civic, then. xP
