Tori had a smirk on her face as he kept up with her and everytime he wanted to pass she kept staying with. sheniped at him as they ran side by side, tryign to see if he would go faster. having some speed to spare she kept on her corse to the river.

Kainen's ears went back a bit again, making him put on an extra burst of speed, he was running flat out now. He wasnt the fastest Soquili, but he was certainly giving it all he had.

Tori certainly wasn't the fastest around but she could hold her own and went flat out when he did. she knew the river was just around the bend of trees. and if she timed it right, she was going to let him go head long into it. keeeping herself from laughign at the though or her little game, he contiuned runnning.

Kainen was getting quite miffed by this point and stretched out like a racehorse, charging full speed neck and neck with the mare. How dare this mare outrun him? HE was supposed to be the fast one... even though he knew he wasnt all that fast, that wasnt the point. It was the point of a mare beating him. So without looking he poured all his speed out in one last lunge, hooves churning up the grass and moss as he charged ahead.

gooooooooood was all Tori was thinking and once they just reached the bend where you would then see the river, she suddenly skidded to a stop. if her timing was right he would go head long into the iver froom the shock of her stopping or so she hoped. BUT she did forget the fact that he did have wings so if he caught himslef her plan wouldn't work.

Kainen let out a loud squeal when he suddenly plunged into the water, rearing up and flapping his wings wildy, trying to get himself out. He neglected to remember that as soon as his wings flailed, they got wet, and wet wings wouldnt fly. After a moment of flailing about in the water, he turned with his mane dripping in his eyes to glare at her.

Tori bursted out in a laughign fit as she watched her plan work and he flailed about in the river. she the gave a smug grin at Kainen. " so did the nice dip cool your jets?" standign there still with that smug grin, she couldnt help but giggle at him and how wet he was.

Kainen grumbled, slowly trying to wade out. "That was not amusing... not amusing at all." He got out and promptly shook himself wildly to dry himself off.

Tori went over to him and pranced about. " awwww big bad Kainen didn't liek the water." she laughed and stopped. " alright i'm sorry but i got you back for kickign me." grinning, she kepted a good distance from him just incase he decided to go at her again.

He growled at her but didnt lunge, still trying to get himself dried off. "We'll see, we'll see..." He shook himself again, he really was quite the proud thing, and he hated having his coat all wet and messed up.

Tori giggled a bit to herself. " so will you now be civil? or shall i again out witt you?" she let him atlest have some sort of pride by atlest letign him regain his composure from being wet. flickign her braided tail, she just grinned.

He finally got himself dry and straightened out and looked at her. "You've prooved yourself interesting. I will have to observe you to see if you stay that way." That was his way of saying he was interested in the way she was, most soquili just bored him.

Tori nodded. " right back at you kainen." she found him interesting in the fact he didn't act like the other stallions she had met. he seemed tempermental but good if he wanted to be. grinnign again she eyed him. " so kainen what shall we do now?" interested enough to stick around Kainen a bt she wondered what amusment he might bring with that little temper.

Kainen thought about it a moment. 'Right this way..." He knew a place where there were the most wonderful berries... and sometimes other soquili hanging around that were nice to torment. "I think you will enjoy this place..."

" oh really, then lead the way." TOri was interested more now in wher he was going to tak her. she loved to see now places and explore them. troting up to him, she awaited him to lead her to this place he said she would enjoy.
