Here are the reasons why I "n00b".
1. It is in the game.
2. Fair and viable strategy.
If I so happen to be smarter than my opponent and pick it up and kill them, than all the power to me. Last time I checked the game was about killing people, and doing objectives, irregardless of how it got done.

Joamal Trop.exe Here are the reasons why I "n00b".
1. It is in the game.
2. Fair and viable strategy.
If I so happen to be smarter than my opponent and pick it up and kill them, than all the power to me. Last time I checked the game was about killing people, and doing objectives, irregardless of how it got done. but even if you kill a lot of people with a noob combo sweatdrop its gonna be just cheap kills and that dont show your reallly level playing with all the weapons that less powerful and the fact that you have to use a noob combo that means that .... you are a noob xd Than let us examine all weapons, and clarify how they are all in fact n00b weapons:
1. Sniper Rifle - OMG How can he do this? Very easily. You have two individuals of moderate skill level both capable in using their weapons, however one has the sniper rifle. Well, such and such an individual puts themselves in the place where they can use the sniper rifle most effectively, far away from their opponents, meaning they can pick off their opponents as they rush towards them. Real skill showing how you can pick up the sniper move the joystick a little when people are barreling towards you at foot speed and pressing a little button underneath your controller.
2. Energy Sword - Obviously one of the most annoying and the weapon that singlehandedly gets yelled at the most as in fact being the weapon that requires the least amount of skill to use to get the most amount of kills. Make the reticule go red, and pull back on that R-Trigger and let them have it. Real skill level there, considering Bungie practically spawns you on top of your opponents, must be hard for the sword wielder.
3. Shotgun - While off host it is most definitely not that great, on host the weapon becomes more powerful than the sword, able to quickly fire and fire while reloading making it one of the most strategic weapons to hold whether you have host or not.
4. Carbine - So it is not the battle rifle, so most of you kids don't know how effective it really is. Capable of being double shotted, and firing faster and harder shots than the Battle Rifle, in the hands of a skilled individual, your opponents will quickly be brought to the ground before they even know what is happening.
5. Rockets - See the truck, hold down that R-Trigger and lock on and let them rockets fly. The most destructive weapon in the game, capable of destroying any tank with two well placed shots, and capable of annihilating groups of enemies numbering in the value of eight with one well conceived discharge pending the location of the enemy. Pick this weapon up, and hide, wait atop of a portal on Beaver Creek, maybe in a cave on Coagulation or Waterworks, and watch yourself get Triple Kills and pick off enemy tanks with ease. With each rocket launcher with full ammo you are fully capable of killing eighteen enemies, making it a great slaying tool.
6. Needlers - Obviously not as powerful as in Halo: CE, but when dual-wielded they become stronger than the supposed "n00b" combo indefinitely. Shooting out crystals in replacement of either plasma or bullets, the crystals attach to your opponents and explode within a few seconds. Watch what happens when you release off a whole clip dual-wielded and duck behind cover after you do.
7. Plasma Rifle/SMG Combo - Have an enemy using the "n00b" combo, why not simply go around, and pick up this combo. Wait for them to come to you, and get them in close. The "n00b" combo will often fall to this long before they get their shot off.
Some seriously cheap skills right there, and look you didn't even need to switch weapons. Calling it the n00b combo is merely showing that you are a n00b oneself, and cannot fully comprehend all aspects of the game. All of these weapons have a designated purpose which acts as an advantage to oneself. The n00b combo has flaws, like all of these weapons have flaws. This combo for example is not as effective at long range. As well if you miss that shot, in a battle rifle battle you just lost. The combo only has limited effectiveness, and many skilled players know how to offset this combo. If you manage to kill an opponent with this, than you have effectively outsmarted and outplayed them, for that is the purpose of Halo 2. To gather weapons for your team, and to disallow your opponents to do the same, while completing objectives such as capturing a flag, arming a bomb, or simply slaying.
