I have translated "We are One" from The Lion King II Simba's Pride
and I am now currently working on "Oh I Just Can't Wait to be King"
"Uan Zi Ere" (We are One) "Oh mishk c**t alia ot bae royal" (Oh I just Can't Wait to be King)
4laugh note: please, "c**t" is in no way supposed to be offensive or swearing, it's just the way it is. Since "can" is "cun" it's just logic

... I've fallen victim. I had to translate my limited Dalmien into one part of the song Doppelgänger I Love You by Zeromancer. Feel ******** me Hurt me Love me Hate me Save me Kill me Qial'n da Darl'n da Kal'n da Sel'n da Etl'n da Kerl'n da Rol'n daAs in English, the apostrophe is used to signify an omitted sound... in this case, the tense ending on all of those verbs xd It's not "proper", but it's used by pretty much every average person. Also, I made a sound clip of one of the harshest Dalmien accents there are - the one that my character Seishak (or Seiqak, if you use Dalmien orthography) speaks in.

I know it ain't conlanging, but I have the urge to translate. Nobody who knows Japanese or Indonesian look, since in all likelyhood I've butchered these already ambiguous lyrics.
(repeat)
Indonesian
Malam Dan semangat hidup memanggil Mamela Dan suatu suara Dengan ketakutan anak bertanya Mamela
(Re-peat)

I'm gonna work on this next: YAY! I'm done! And it flows, too! =D
Colors of the Wind
You think I'm just an ignorant savage And you've been so many places; I guess it must be so But still I cannot see, if the savage one is me How can there be so much that you don't know? You don't know...
You think you own whatever land you land on The earth is just a dead thing you can claim But I know every rock and tree and creature Has a life, has a spirit, has a name.
You think the only people who are people Are the people who look and think like you But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger You'll learn things you never knew you never knew
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain Can you paint with all the colours of the wind? Can you paint with all the colours of the wind?
Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest Come taste the sun-sweet berries of the earth Come roll in all the riches all around you And for once never wonder what they're worth
The rainstorm and the river are my brothers The heron and the otter are my friends And we are all connected to each other In a circle in a loop that never ends
How high does a sycamore grow? If you cut it down then you'll never know And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon For whether we are white or copper skinned We need to sing with all the voices of the mountain We need to paint with all the colours of the wind
You can own the earth and still All you'll own is earth until You can paint with all the colours of the wind ---- In Yiwoyuwa: ---- Kulor dês Bêllna

I tried to translate Cradle of Filth, Nymphetamine.
I'm slowly adding to it biggrin
Laid to the river Midsummer, I waved A "V" of black swans On with hope to the grave And though Red September With skies fire-paved I begged you appear
Like a thorn for the holy ones
Cold was my soul Untold was the pain I faced when you left me
A rose in the rain So I swore to the razor That never, enchained Would your dark nails of faith Be pushed through my veins again
Bared on your tomb I'm a prayer for your loneliness And would you ever soon Come above onto me? For once upon a time On the binds of your loneliness I could always find the slot for your sacred key
Six feet deep is the incision In my heart, that barless prison Discolours all with tunnel vision
Sunsetter... Nymphetamine
Sick and weak from my condition This lust, this vampyric addiction To Her alone in full submission
None better... Nymphetamine
Nymphetamine, Nymphetamine... Nymphetamine girl.
Nymphetamine, Nymphetamine... My Nymphetamine girl.
Wicked with your charm I'm circled like prey Back in the forest Were whispers persuade More sugar trails More white lady laid Than pillars of salt...
Fold to my arms Hold their mesmeric sway And dance her to the moon As we did in those golden days
Christening stars I remember the way We were needle and spoon Mislaid in the burning hay
Bared on your tomb I'm a prayer for your loneliness And would you ever soon Come above onto me? For once upon a time On the binds of your lowliness I could always find the slot for your sacred key
Six feet deep is the incision In my heart, that barless prison Discoulours all with tunnel vision
Sunsetter... Nymphetamine
Sick and weak from my condition This lust, this vampyric addiction To Her alone in full submission
None better... Nymphetamine
Nymphetamine, Nymphetamine... Nymphetamine girl.
Nymphetamine, Nymphetamine... My Nymphetamine girl. _____

Eccentric Iconoclast You're not butchering them, you're constructing new dialects. mrgreen Phff, if only. I may as well give the japanese language to this guy and let him chew it up. Look at his little tooths, I bet he can chew damn good. domokun Speaking of chewing, I once heard that if Charlie Brown was real, his jaws would be strong enough to bite through a steel girder, assuming that his teeth could hold up. I also heard that his tiny legs would break under the weight of the rest of his body, especially that huge head. Now, imagine that after Charlie's limbs were crushed, he had a run in with some bad Chinese hair growing formula, resulting in hair covering his entire body. Then maybe he turned to food as a comfort to discract him from his freakish bad looks. And what do we have? This guy: domokun If fits perfectly. Furry, limbless, shaplesess with chub, and ceaselessly begging for food. Charlie, what hath become of thee. Boy, that wasn't off topic at all.

Allow me to make a really really bad Japanese translation of the cheesey pocahontas song. That.... did not turn out well at all. I switched styles way to often, and not having a dictionary around not does help.
Heres a crappy translation of it a la babelfish in small white text if anyone wants to see. I think its quite funny. "roaring to the cone" and "deer mall" are my favorite bits.
Because, I thinking, that it is the ignorant savage, it has done to the る enormously many place but so the oak and others which probably will be whether or not as for me as for the savage me, you do not understand yet being and what you, do not understand why as for many, still so? As for you intellectual viewing. . . Concerning wherever, you think that it becomes the place your ones, but it is, as for dying, those which る you can steal is not being, as for me, there is a life, a soul and a name in any all things which know the respective rock and the wood and the living thing You know that the person who is the person truly did not know does not know it is just the person whom you think that you are the person, being, when you walked with the shoes of the person who does not know at all and Roaring to the cone whose ワルフ is blue has been heard, why laughing, the る applying, whether you have heard whether you can sing with the voice 々 of the mountain, you draw ボッブカット which has been laughed with various color of the wind? The raw and others れ of the forest you want running the road of the pine, tasting Konomi whom the sun makes sweet the ぬ you want the っ て coming with the commodity which to your side is, and as for the root of that commodity it is what, serving, you think Furthermore as for the storm and the river my younger brother white dew and lie the friend it is, it was attached mutually, it does not end it was attached with the ring which to the ring which is Height of the wood of the deer mall when about which it comes, whether it is white, whether it is color of the copper, must sing the coming ふ which does not hear roaring to the cone whose ワルフ which is not known at all is blue with voice of the mountain, you must write with color of the wind Even when having the world, having the earth of the world, you can draw with color of the wind
God, I feel so dirty. Must go take shower.... at 1:30 in the morning... gonk
