Keeper of the Seven Keys I'm getting excited for this new album but I've heard it sounds a lot like ohGr. I don't find anything wrong with that, I think it's kinda cool but I wish Skinny Puppy and ohGr could keep different sounds but whatever. xd it doesn't sound that much like ohgr if at all, really.

Vivi Merquise En_Hiver January 16th?! I heard that it was January 27th. Well to add another 2 days to the already lengthy wait, all the information I have received says Jan 29th! sweatdrop But from the few sound bits and bytes I've heard floating around the internet, I must admit I am quite excited, I think it'll probably top TGWOR for me as far as fav albums go! Hey, aren't you that ******** b***h who started flaming me for no reason! ******** you! Get the ******** out!

shorelinedpoison minend shorelinedpoison Soviet Reunion Dwane was the guy behind the scenes influencing everything industrial. you sure about that? i don't know exactly who brought what to the table, but i do know dwayne was quite the fan of dance music, as evidenced by his solo work. as that seemed to be the direction they were going in on the process, i'd think if he didn't die, the current puppy would be even MORE dancey as a result. of course, this is just speculation and we'll never know for sure. ( obviously) Dwayne did all the melodic synth, but also some of the samples and the noise. Kevin was pretty good at percussion and guitar. I think the Process sounded the way it did because the label wanted the band to sound like NIN or something. Things were getting depressing. i'm aware there was pressure from the label, but never the less that's the direction they wanted to go. not anywhere have i read any hint that they changed their vision for the sake of the label. @ flinty, yeah, i knew about that. i find it quite amusing, it just shows how little research newspapers do. As far as the music sounding techno-ish now, it doesn't seem that surprising, most of the old industrial acts from the 80's have gone very electronic, it's just the direction the genre went to. Also, Dwayne didn't even start off in skinny puppy, so i think he kind of knew what to shoot for musically, as well as a hefty portion of working with kevin, the process sounded a little off cos' dwayne had sadly already passed away and Ogre and cEvin couldn't stand one another at the time, the band was in a major divide ever since Rabies was released (personally, I blame Al Jourgensen for that) but cEvin even work on ohGr with Ogre, playing drums at live shows and the like, so you have to figure maybe that big break is just what the band needed to get back on it's feet... Also, Mythmaker blew my mind, it's like nothing i've heard cEvin or Ogre do before...SICK COMBO i'm done rambling.... -_-''

To quote my comment on Skinny Puppy's MySpace, Quote: regarding Mythmaker, i love it i love it i love it! (i'd say i dig it, but y'know, i don't want to make a crappy pun.) also, i would push a child down a flight of stairs to see you guys in Vancouver. and if you play in the Buffalo-Toronto area, i wouldn't have to do that! by the way, regarding my username, my fiance is nicknamed Ogre. and i hope you've seen Ice Ice Pro-Test because it's one of the funniest things i've ever watched online. *beeps to all!* (note: my MySpace username is "Ogre's Kitten") i'm taking it to work every day. actually i should make a copy to keep at work... cool

I have Mythmaker on my ipod already and I am listening to it over and over....
Such happiness!! I think this may be a slightly less accessable cd, just the way I like it. I imagine when I play it in my store I will make people uneasy (gotta pick my spots)
I have decided that I am going to the new tour no matter where in Canada they play. The GWOTR DVD has made me ravenous.
