B.N.A.P.Hime Torrina Shirogane =O Did she really do all that? Mmmmhmmm. 3nodding She thought that her and Sora were destined to be together and that Riku was interferring with destiny and trying to take her soul-mate away from her, so she set Riku up to make it look like he was cheating on Sora, she provoked Riku so that he got angry and start yelling at her, then she pretended to cry and Sora came to her rescue and got mad at Riku calling him a jerk, she pushed Riku into the street right when a car was driving by and he had to go to the hospital for a week, and so on and so forth. She pretty much did various things like that all throughout the story until finally Sora figured out what she was doing and stopped being friends with her. blaugh So yea, that story used to really pissed me off. stressed ...She pushed him in front of a moving car? ._."

I love you for making this topic. Kairi, in my opinion, is a very good character.
The story couldn't have progressed w/o her in the first one.
She's not bash-worthy...unless your mad at her for making imaginary neclaces when you and Riku were buildin the raft...>3>
But other than that, she's one of my favorite characters!
WE CAN PRETEND SHE'S A FAN IF WE CAN PRETEND THAT SORA AND RIKU ARE LOVERS!!!
*ahem* Kairi is a good character, great personality, cute outfits, and has done nothing "slutty" (as everyone here likes to say she does) all KH.
I've studied the character (No, not the whole "hard core" Sherlock Holmes crud) and her personality...and what she does in the game...and it hurts my brain not being able to find out why everyone hates her so much!
Please, just tell me why! It's bugging me! >.<
You know how you get the feeling when someone does something and you don't know how or why and it REALLY bugs you?

Okay...I love KH yaoi just as much as the next member in this guild...but I'm Kairi shipper all the way...

I dislike Kairi because she creeps me out, mostly for the reason that she seems quite focused on Sora in a way bordering an unhealthy obsession. It's more visable in the first game than in the second.
Because of her centering around Sora, I also see her as a very one dimensional character whose sole purpous seems to be giving some sort of purpose for Sora, and not a whole lot else. We see little of her thinking of anyone but Sora, and she seems to be lacking many emtional connections except to Sora, which I find extremely bland.
Pretending she's a fan is difficult for me, and would be silly for me since I see no evidence whatsoever that she would just accept the SoraRiku pairings without any qualms, due to reasons stated above.

It's because of that fanfic that I don't see Kairi as a fangirl and hate her so much! That'd be awesome if it was in the game though! rofl

Yea, we all know Riku and Sora aren't canon, but we prefer them as the main couple anyway, for obvious reasons. XD

Well, there's a big difference between fanfiction and canon...^^; *slight nod and a vaugely akward grin* I personally prefer it when they try to keep Kairi as in charecter in fanfiction-- just because the author may not like her doesn't mean that they should generate more dislike of her, by essentially condeming her for crimes she didn't even commit! Look at Namine - she actually did f*** everything up, yet... strangely, we like her. Why? The same reason as that comic I posted in the pictures thread. We see her as "one of us". --"
