"Well....um....okay then..."

Cautiously, as if they would pounce on her at any moment, Belda stood up and made her way to a seat. She sat down slowly beside the boy who said his name was Lance, and sighed with relief. Maybe they wouldn't cast a curse on her afterall! That's what she had those two second year boys had told her in the lobby.

"What spells do you guys know? My mom wouldn't let me practice since I always set things aflame by accident."

"That's nice... I think my parents told me I was to wait until I got to Hogwarts to do magic because they'd rather have the Hogwarts staff deal with the burnt furniture than themselves."

She noted jokingly.

Rose laughs. "My parents didn't even know magic existed until my brother got invited to Hogwarts. But he never does any magic outside of school. He's a goodygoody. What about you guys?"

Miya turned to Hikakaru and said, "Yeah I'm in Ravenclaw too." She turned to Rose and asked, "What year's your brother?"

Zuko had yet to find a compartment, all the others he found were full. He eventually came upon the compart5ment in which sat Hikakaru, Miya, and Rose. He lightly tapped on the door then opened it. He said, "Do you guys mind if I take a seat in here?'

Zuko pulled his trunk in a placed it in the comparment above their heads. Perched on top of the trunk is a cage which inside held a giant eagle owl. Zuko reached up and undid the latch letting the bird out of its cage. "That is my friend Shadow. And I'm Zuko Firebrand, I'm in Slytherin house." Zuko sat down and held his arm out and the eagle owl perched on his arm. Zuko then began to stroke the large animal.

"Yes, he is a handsome bird isn't he? I'm in my sixth year at Hogwarts, it won't be too much longer and I'll graduate. I hope to become either and Aurour or a Professinal Quidditch player, but working with dragons might not be so bad... my dad was really good with animals... especially dragons and griffens... I only hope I can live up to his legacy." Zuko turned to face the girl revealing a scar that ran ran diagonally down to the left over his left eye.

Shifty walked in and found a seat close to the corner. He pulled it back so that he could lean against the wall and sat there, twirling his wand around and looking around at all the people. "Another year another bit of my life is squandered away." he said to himself.
