*The droids make their way to Daisuke's and greater entites' location. He flips a lid on a remote and times it as one of the beasts swings at the drone carrying the plasma cell and he presses the button and the monitors go black. Soon afterwards the light cut off and everything goes black.*

"Damn... uh... I hope it restarts soon... If only the holographic generators didn't produce their own magnetic field that nullifies plasma eruption."

*The computers and light begin to come back on and he immediately begins to run diagnostics and scans of the floors.*

"Uh.. Maverick if you're still alive or concious... If you can hear me you need to make a run for it... the radiation burst destroyed the beasts and some of the nearby projectors... so you shouldn't have any trouble for a while. Continue and stay the course."

*He checks the scans to make sure... all is clear in Daisuke's area.*

*He adjusts his headset and then pulls up a map on the screen.*

"Just head to your left and when you set the stairs just go down around 20 levels... sweatdrop ... then I'll try to meet you at the starwell and we can come to where I am now to rest and then make our way to the hard-light core."

*He continues his attempts to start the automated defenses and the mech defenses.*

*He laughs and pulls up a command dialog.*

"I could always just select the command and make the stairs flip under and turn into a slide like in those haunted houses people used to see in fairs... heh."

*He types the command in the dialog and hovers his index finger over the return key.*

*He smiles and selects the floor Daisuke is on until the floor that he is on.*

"Ok... balance yourself and ready yourself... I have no way of telling if anything is in the stairwell. Have fun."

*He presses the return key eek *

*He looks at the monitor and noticed that nothing had moved in the past 5 minutes.*

"It doesn't look like anything is nearby.... let me refresh the scanner to make sure."

*He rescans the floor and then realizes that Maverick is about to be flanked from both sides.*

"s**t!... I'm coming man duck and cover and try to hold anything off if they see you."

*He grabs a few grenades and the new assualt rifle and a few butterfly clips and puts on his pouch body armour for easy movement and places on his multifrequency goggles, for unabridged view. He then runs out the door and closes it behind him.*

*As he runs down the hall he has to mow down a three hostiles and then hears other gun fire, 125-A fire to be exact, and he sighs. stare *

"So much for hiding and staying low."

*He runs down the hallway and will be right on Daisuke in a matter of moments.*

*He runs around the corner and sees Daisuke throw his 125-A at one of the beasts. He pulls up the assualt rifle and pumps something and then puts his finger on the trigger.*

"Duck and Cover"

*He pulls the trigger and launches a grenade into the crowd of monsters.*

*After the explosion and howling he ran back around the corner and began to fire into the smoke hoping to hit anything that might have survived.*

"Wait for the smoke to clerar."

*He looks both infront of and behind himself to prevent any flanking.*
