"Actually..." The older male reguarded, dipping his own head in polite response to Thayne's greeting. "I just found out by whispers that there were two new Malu down here in the sublevels...I almost didn't make it in time to meet with you both." Standing up, the large mascu shook his pelt out, which seemed to have a layer of dust between the fur like a statue.
With a grin much like the one Chael usually sported, his aged vocals mused out a chuckle. "Oh we do."
Chael gazed over to Thayne, whom seemed to be looking for some amswers. At first, he did not know whom this male was, yet it became clearer and clearer as he heard this male speak, and watch in the way he acted. Clearing his throat, he rose to his paws and shook his head before looking over to Thayne with a awkward smile.
"When I was younger, my mother told me before she left me here that I wasn't an only pup. I had a brother, and a father whom never seemed to be around. She said it wasn't his fault, as it was just the way his god was that he never seemed to stay in one place for long. My mother left me here in hopes to reunite my lost family..."
His eyes trailed over to the older Malu, as his head dipped to reguard him. "For it was my Father and Brother who ventured to the temple when I was just a pup, leaving me back in the north with mother. Isn't that right?"
