paradoxical Mr. MooCow [ddrfreek] Katbot Daniel Handler is fat. sweatdrop , from the pictures I saw, he just looks solid. Same. in one of the pictures of the books (I think it was Miserable Mill), it shows Lemony (not Daniel, LEMONY) looking out the window. He looks quite fat in that picture. In another (possible the Austere Academy), It shows him with a coat, walking in a snow, and you can't tell if he's infront or behind a fence. In that one he is slim. But in a picture of Daniel Handler (I regard Lemony and Daniel as different people. Daniel is an author and Lemony is a character.) It shows his face only, and he looks quite slim. So, 2 slim, 1 fat. He could've photographed different people 3nodding . If you look up Daniel Handler on google, you get all the same pictures of him, and he is sort of on the hefty side but that's peachy..  He kinda looks like my music teacher. 3nodding

Talamai Dude, there was an interview with him in Newsweek! With a picture of what he really looks like. It ruined my life. me too, i always thought of him to look a little like count olaf, only more blonde hair and not as evil... and a smaller nose.

I saw an interview with him in Nickelodeon Magazine quite some time ago... apparently, it's only me who loves him more now? eek Besides the fact that he was fabulous in the interview, I thought his face matched his writing very much, and I guess that's just important to me. sweatdrop Either way, Lemony is a part of the story, one that will probably have a very important part later on. The fact that the book is written in the first person, and authored to one of the characters, just makes it more real. 3nodding

I think it's really awsome how he puts himself in the books...almost as if the story came to him like a dream, and it just happened to be from Lemony's point of view...I bet it could have just a easily been from Olaf's point of view or Mr. Poes's but I think he was just looking for someone who wasn't as invloved...it's awsome... I mean, not too many people go up to a publisher and say "I'm going to write a stroy, and my ailias is going to be in the book, not just a narator."

You have to read the books as though Daniel Handler and Lemony Snicket are two COMPLETLY different people or you WILL get confused. I tried doing it... No, bad idea. Though the autobiography shows they are two different people. There is D and L, and D sometimes represents L, just like in real life.

After seeing his picture it reminds me of something I watched on T.V. and it showed that a school got to have Lemony Snicket as a guest and as usual Daniel Handler showed up saying that Lemony couldn't show up. He looked exactly like him.
