mychasi I don't care much for Kagome. She depends on InuYasha saving her a** when she's capable of doing it herself. I suppose I just don't like her co-dependance problem. But aside from that she's a perfectly fine person. Maybe... I love the bunny picture in your sig. eek

i like kikyou WAY better i hope inuyasha uses the jewel to bring Kikyou back to life because kagome just kinda needs to leave when inuyasha finds the jewel...im anti-Kagome

Holy crap man where'd you pop out from? eek *Ahem* Kagome has her moments... but most of the time there's something about her that irks me a bit. Of course, this isn't to say that I hate her. I'm far from that. Just.... something. sweatdrop SAME HERE!! I don't hate her at all, but she's just so....Gah...Can't put my finger on it. She whines alot, and when a demon is about to attack her she just stands there looking horrified. I mean, I understand she's a highschool girl, and that she doesn't really have great powers, but even I would know to run if I something was about to kill me. And also, after a certain point in the series, the only thoughts that come out of her head are about Inuyasha. It's almost like her brain can't function anything that doesn't have to do with Inuyasha. Like when she get's chased by a demon, her thoughts are, "I need Inuyasha to save me!" not, "I need to get out of here." And once again, I have to say that I don't hate her, she's just a bit too helpless for me.

Personally it's just her ROLE that seems to bother me. Sometimes they makes her seem frikin omni-powerful, with arrows of ridiculous power. Othertimes she stands and screams a lot. And a lot of the time all that happens is:
Inuyahsa:"Where are the shards Kagome?"
Kagome: "Hold on a second... They're in the ______!"
AND THAT'S IT! Maybe the reason I can't seem to put my finger on it, is that her character doesn't seem solidified. It changes a lot. Sometimes she seems so strong, othertimes, not so much. I suppose it can vary due to situation, but there's only so much a person can change! neutral

In the world of Inuyasha, wether someone succeeds or not is irrelevant of their skill. I mean, sure Kagome isn't that great at archery, after all, she's never done it before, but whether she misses or not is to do with how Takahashi wants the story to turn out, not a comment or indication of her skills. Same goes for all the characters.

I am also proudly pro kagome,I can't really seem to hate a character,Because,The writer/creator made them like that for a reason.

In fact, I try to defend her most of the time. roxybudgy: Not exactly true, although it does sorta make sense. You see, if Inuyasha could never hit a thing, and could never slay any demons, that must mean that he is weak. If Takahashi meant for Inuyasha to never kill anything because he simply does not have the ability to, she would also indicate that Inuyasha is weak. reiasukayui: If I were the creator of an anime series, I would want the people watching it to feel hate/love for a character, simply because if they didn''t, then they might lose interest in it. But that''s just me. sweatdrop
