Art isn't required to graduate in our school, but there is a full year of visual and performing art required.

At our highschool only 'fine art' credits are required. So you can do music, art, theatre, and it's seems like there's one other thing but I don't remember.

There's technical art, and then there's fine art. 'Cept you can only take fine art continually (two uninterrupted semesters) and the technical art you can take anytime.

These are all the classes required to graduate:
Years - Class
4 - English
1 - World Civilization
2 - US History
3 - Mathematics
3 - Science (2 years lab science)
1 - World Language
4 - Physical Education and Health
2 - Visual Arts
(115 credits)
You also need to pass the High School Proficiency Assessment in junior year (HSPA is set up by New Jersey state.)

The CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exam) is ridiculously easy.
What is the square root of 49? Gee. I don't know.

From the two section of the practice Science HSPA, it's fairly easy. I mean, I know my score won't be great. But it's not that hard.
