trowa barton46409 to be honest i think some people like me get writers block when u have a direct topic to write on so i believe it would be benificial to people like me to have an open fanfic It is basically open. All you have to do is tie it into Christmas or one of the holidays around Christmas. It's not like we're saying it has to be romance or angst or any other genre. That's all up to you.

Hm... So who are the confirmed judges? I can't judge for religious reasons due to shonen-ai. We need five judges... Hm... I started the contest but can't judge. So I'm just the designated prize buyer and rule maker at times? Am I disqualified from competing in my own contest? sweatdrop
Mind you, I've started writing one with Duo and Hilde stuck in the desert for Christmas. Hope it doesn't get too spiritual though since the Nativity may be involved...

It's not fair to try to hook judges before the fic is even completed.

I'll play it like Zechs would aginst Heero, fair and square! 3nodding Am I still the designated prize buyer? Do you want a November item or shall we wait til December?

I don't think there's any problem with a judge participating in the contest...but they would have to abstain from voting on their own fanfic, which would hurt their chances of winning - but it's fair.
I may participate, but I have horrid writer's block at the moment...

Alright Void-kun!!
I've got two Thank You Letter for this November. We could use one of those, but I'd want my 10k back then. We've got plenty of time to decide on the prize.

I guess I should retun your 10k then... *says goodbye to momentary wealth and watches gold dwindle to 244* Being poor sucks but at least I haven't been embezzling!

Hmm now what to do about the other letter. Gotta wait for prices to go up. Maybe I'll be able to get Decembers one (Multiple ones) and we'll be able to have a first and second place prize.

trowa barton46409 to be honest i think some people like me get writers block when u have a direct topic to write on so i believe it would be benificial to people like me to have an open fanfic It's really easy to tie Christmas into any GW fic. Remember that the two major battles of the series took place on Christmas Eve AC 195 and 196. Put in a flashback or a memory and you're all set!

I have an itty-bitty concern. I hope pairings won't turn the judges off to some of the stories; Lady Une has already resigned as judge for just such reasons, which was very admirable and kind of her. I'd just like to confirm that people will be judging based on quality of writing, creativity of plot, character portrayal, etc., not preferred pairings. sweatdrop
