"Need doesn't necessarily equal want," he countered with a smile.
Demon chuckled uncharacteristically at her request. "So eager to show me off already, Ms. Meena?" He tagged his newest nickname for her at the end again, enjoying the feel of it as he left the tip of his tongue. "The Village is not far out of my way," he continued, already walking forward in the correct direction. "I suppose I could take the time to play escort to such a lovely mare." He stopped as he stopped a few feet ahead of her, turning his head back to give Meena another teasing glance. "Well, what are you waiting for, then? You can't keep a beauty like me waiting forever, you know."

'True,' she admitted. 'And I suppose if you want your ego boosting it would be little hardship for me to do so.' Meena stepped forward a few paces, hooves lifted and placed in an overly dainty way as she mused on how to answer him without seeming too forward. 'To whom would I show you off to?' she asked, knowing full well that her mother would be around the Village somewhere. Ardia would certainly happy to see her daughter with a stallion. 'Come then,' she said, making a nipping motion to his shoulder as she passed him at a canter, the braids in her tail dancing with the motion of her gait.

"Well, then, I konw where to come if I ever do need a little pick-me-up for the day." He winked again suggestively at the mare.
Demon laughed with a flick of his tail. "Whoever you wish to, my dear. After all, it'll be hard to keep the attention off of of the moment we walk in." He linnked for a moment at her antics before following. "Fiesty little thing, aren't we, Ms. Meena?" He followed alongside her, his tail swinging back and forth with his movement as they headed off.

'You mean you'll be leaving my side at some point then?' she made herself sound petulant, although it really wasnt so much of a stretch. The thought of their little meeting ending, despite it being the first time made her feel...what? It didnt sit well anyway. 'Really? There arent too many Soquili that really frequent the Village all the time. I think you might get attention from the two-legged ones, and that's about it.' Was Meena jealous? She didnt know, and merely carried on cantering towards the distant Village, the tops of the teepees just visible on the horizon.

"Going to be lonely without me?" Demon said with another smirk of his. "Don't worry, Ms. Meena. I'll make sure that the rest of this meeting is so wondrous that it'll content you whenever I may not be near." He leaned closer and gave one of her braids a light tug. 'I won't ever be too far away thought,' he thought to himself, already rather fond of the mare.
"Hmm, that's fine though. After all, I'm just that gorgeous that I even attract the admiration of two-leggers. My stunning presence is not confined to those of our species." He struck a pompous pose again, enjoying the way the sunlight reflected off of his sleek coat. As the tips of the teepees came closer, he moved a little closer to the mare, his tail occasionally brushing the sides of Meena's legs.

'Hmm I might be,' Meena replied, slowing to a walk as grass gave way to the hard packed earth of the Village area. She flicked her tail, laughing at his tugs of her braids and moved in the direction of the main fire. 'Oh you will? I can't imagine what else you can do to top the wonder of meeting you.' she teased him lightly again. A cursory glance around the fire told her that from where there were her mother wasnt around. It was probably a good thing, she wasnt sure she wanted to be questioned about a stallion she had only spent a small amount of time with. And Ardia was certain to ask just the right kind of embarrassing questions.

"You poor thing, then," he said, teasingly. Demon nightly sidestepped a muddy puddle as he talked, giving an inner shiver at the thought of stepping in such a mess.
He gave Meena a sly look, "Of course not. Only a fool would even try to find such a moment that, of course, not not exist." Demon noticed her glance, thought he chose to ignore it. 'Likely insignificant,' he thought.

'Well..this is pretty much my home..I was born in this Village, along with my sister and brother.' Meena snorted a little at his comments. 'I know about being alone, travelling by myself. I dont think I was that lonely because I was always moving.' She looked around again, not sure of herself for a moment; 'And then when I stopped moving around. I guess it really hit me, coming back to where my mother and father were so happy.' She shook her mane and gave him a half smile. 'I'm sure it doesnt matter to you, I cant even imagine why I'm suddenly telling you all this.'

"Because I'm just that wonderful?" Demon said with a smirk and a wink. "It's nice to have a home to go back to; we can't always be alone. After all, what would I do without my adoring fans?" He gave a over-dramatic sigh. "Oh, the horror."
