Truantduck Battle is being designed to run smoothly on lower end systems. smile ooooooooooooooooooooh~~~
Why dont they just make a dial up version then?
Then Brodband people can enjoy it in high detail but dial ups can still play!

The magic looks cool and look at the items in the tool bar!
Does look like towns though and I am slightly disappointed~
Still want to battle though.....

kind of disheartens you to see the graphics... -_- but hey! thats why its called a work in progress right? ^_^ Im sure it'll get better... after all its not done yet

sadly it looks photoshopped
the trees in the background were made with a different programme to the trees we see today...

It's a delightful separation of mechanics and end effect. The same game mechanic can be use to describe/represent several different uses.
A "fire ray" attack could just as easily be a "laser beam." No doubt there will be people who will try to be realists and say a Fireball is a Fireball and not a Grenade explosion. However in my book if someone is dressed like a modern soldier and causes a big blast of fire I'm going to yell "GRENADE!"

I just want to put this out there for you all, but if you go to vgcats.com, you occasionally find an add for Gaia online showing people in the upcoming armor for the battle system.
