My opinion is that sometime's it's hard to tell what's playful drama, like the self-instigated type that I often involve myself in, (sometime the tone is serious, even when the two people are joking.) and when it's GRRIH8TUANDHOPEUDIE! drama. I mean, we're a very boring group of individuals, and left to our own devices we will do the only thing that can get us unbored--causing drama of one kind or another.
So, I suppose that it should be reviewed by the mods, and perhaps some of the nonpartial observers, and then decided on whether it is playful or has an intent to actually convey feelings of dislike and emnity (sp?), and then acted upon.

Roger Silverwood Dukes Roger Silverwood Dukes Roger Silverwood Dukes There are no verbal attacks on the internet, it is all virtual/digital. ^__^
You know what I mean rolleyes I know, but if I didn't say it... you know someone else would have.
...touche' mon ami, touche' But seriously, all America-based servers have the rights and laws of the USofA enforced upon them except for where the TOS of the site overrides it.
I was unaware confused But back to the point, (and the fact that I've wanted to say this my whole life)
The constitution does not protect flamers 3nodding No, but it does protect our right to dislike someone in a public manner, if not then John Kerry would be in jail for publicly decrying Bush.

Which is why the law is so foggy there, but either way why should you publicly declare dislike of someone else in more than maybe two posts in a single thread?

GUYS. We're not trying to take away your rights here. At least, I'm not. Personally, I don't mind the drama. I rather like it, actually. It keeps things interesting, and it's something to let out my PMS rants in. But the other mods have been concerned lately about the drama. Apparently, it is causing too many problems and hurting too many feelings. I suggested a [DRAMA] tag in the subject of a thread with drama in it, but the others didn't like that idea.
What I mean to say is that, apparently, there is a LINE between drama and flaming. Flaming = Warning, in my view.

They didn't say argue, argue all you want, but when there shouldn't be anger brewing, if someone's opinion is horrible IE: Stalin was our savior, we should tell them they're an idiot, give reasons, and be on our merry way. Or if you're attacked there's no reason to begin a vendetta, if you don't like someone just don't talk to them, but if it escalates tension arises and people don't like coming here for fear getting involved by having to choose a side or getting attacked themselves based on opinion

You weren't trying to mess up the guild with the Spam forum either, but it happened.
I love how it's what the mods are concerned about that matters, not the people's concerns.
It's not even as clear cut as drama and flaming. Nymphie doesn't want ANY disrespect, ANY negativity, Anything not part of 'Happy Cloud Land' (my name for it).
