I was really into Parakiss which lead me to Gokinjo and NANA.
I (before learning how to use IRC) even bought the french translations of NANA (my french is pretty horrid but decent enough to get a chunk of meaning from the manga). then irc. and now its soo bad that i browse through scans of the chinese translation someone posts even though i don't understand a word of it, because it comes out usually very quickly after the japanese.

Read Paradise Kiss when it first came out in America. Read it in Shoujo Beat, directly hit a scanlation site after the first chapter. Bought the Movie off of ebay, downloaded the anime, bought the cellphone strap and a necklace at a comic convention, fell in love with Vivienne Westwood's stuff.
Squeed over the trailers of Nana 2.

i kind of eyed it. when ever i would pick up a mangabook. then one day when the book store that i wanted to get wasn't on the shelves i decided to pick up nana. :3.. then my frien dhad the movie, and i got even more attach.. n.n!

I won't pretend to be all mysterious about it. I got obsessed with it -and Ai Yazawa- after reading the first part in ShojoBeat.

I was in Barns & Nobel , i happened across the first issue of Shoujo Beat, it was advertising Nana. A few months latter , i was there and i found the manga, i've been hooked ever since.

My friend made me watch the movie. And she buys the manga, so I just kinda steal them from her once she gets a new one.

I was obsessing with Elfen Lied and then my friend commented me on myspace asking if I liked Nana and I said yes, thinking it was the Nana from Elfen Lied.
Then she told me it was a series.
I watched up until episode 11 in the summer, and then I caught up..
..And fell in love.
