Given where you are in the game.... I'm okay. ^^ I thought I was way too low a level. ^^ At least Basch doesn't look like he did when you found him. His shoes look kind of like something you'd expect ancient Greeks to wear....

xd FFXII is so awesome!!! I love with the depths of my being. I supposed that's to be expected with FF games in general.

Anywho, the gambit system is really fun. It's interesting to use new ways to kill. Killing is boring; it's the way you kill that makes it worthwhile. And killing in FFXII is awesome. whee

Um. . . I don't know how many hours I've played. I got it last Thursday. I'm at the Raithwall Tomb place. I could be a lot farther but I got FFXII the same time-ish that my sister got KHII so she's been playing that all week but she beat it Sunday. Unfortunately, she's still playing it and trying to get all the stuff you can. Combine her playing with all the stupid homework and projects I've been getting for school, and I don't get to play all that often. So sad. crying

The gambit system is fun. I don't have to do much outside of boss battles, where we usually lose the first time in order to figure out how to best contour our gambits. Of doom. 4laugh And no more random battles.... no more random battles.... xd

The no more random battles thing was amazing.

Accept that it also meant that in the Estersand there were creatures that could completelyjust murder you if you went to close to them. Which I think we all did the first time through. It’s definitely an improvement though, definitely.

And the gambits are rather nice, though I haven’t messed with them at all really. They’re just set to the game’s default settings. sweatdrop sweatdrop

A man on the run can't get the world's best clothes. ^^ I use the stones to go back to Rabanastre to do hunts, and to go where I want to train. Their sole use to me is to level up and earn money. ^^ Um... What is your average party level? ( directed at maskedmaiden)

level 34 for three and level like 14 for the other three. I know thats really bad... emo

yay no random encounters!!!

...That explains that... 29-30, whole party. It's slightly slower, but I subscribe to the 'train equally' school of thought. Whatever floats your boat though. ^^

When I went through the sandsea, there were some....bad times. sweatdrop They would have been easier to escape from with random battles, but getting into a battle every three seconds is not fun. Is there any way to win with this?

I think you should. (to both of you) It's quite worth it, for the reasons that have been mentioned in this topic already. ^^

That reminds me of when I was coming back from the Nebina (?) prison place. I was in the Estersand, I think, and about to enter Rabinastre when I decided to try and fight a t-rex. I attacked it, and it completely destroyed my characters. I had to go back through the desert again from when I last saved after escaping the prison. My little sister was laughing at me the whole time; she had advised me not to attack the t-rex.
sweatdrop I'll never mess with a t-rex again.

there is a point in the game where you have to fight them but at that point its not too hard. yeah i pretty much learned that lesson in FFVIII if you could beat a T-Rex in that one you where a bada*s
