I am saddened...

OBJECTION!
(shut up, i'm in the mood)
But the NR has to ask for the clue from the GM a day ahead.
Day 1 - Ask for clue about X.
Day 2 - Get clue about X and request about X or Y.
All the Detective has to do is ask a person. Or do they ask through the GM? In that case, I would be totally thrown off and my objection would be irrelevent and thus overruled.
