i've never done the board by myself or seen anyone do it on their own. i always thought that the risk of possession was even greater if you do it on your own.

Fantasy_Magick777 Kaoru_Koishii I've never used a Ouija, but both my parents told me they were bad and the spirits from there could take over you and that I shouldn't ever use or mess with them. sweatdrop I think it's pretty interesting though... And my ex-friend said she used it a couple of times and said that the Ouija Board, itself is harmless? sweatdrop
thats why its best not to mess with them if you dont have someone there with you who is experienced. even then, things can go awry. its best to know what you're doing first. overall, i'd say that a ouija board is no more dangerous then astral traveling, which can be tricky too. whee Oh I see. sweatdrop I agree... but even with an experienced person it's still risky, in my opinion. I might try to use one soon, or atleast oversee my friends doing it. They do it all the time and so far, things seem to have always been alright.
I don't really feel the need to use a tool like it, but I do want to see if theres anything I could learn from a few first hand experiences with it.

Just be careful, don't just ask for anyy random spirit and do some research before you try it.

I am partical to tarot cards but on occasion when I have a freind over that is willing to do the oujia board with me I do quite enjoy it.

ive heard makeing a circle of salt around the board stops any spirits from getting into/staying in your home after you done is this true? question

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it kept any nasties you ignorantly summon within it until you can send it away. Of course, if you take proper precaution and know what you're doing, such a messy protection shouldn't be necessary (you'll have to vacuum up the salt afterwards).

Im not actually planning on useing one anytime soon, im just interested in learning safety procedures, incase i ever do decide to use one.

I dont use them but I know some people who have, and they had some realy bad experiences with it.
