 Raikou shook his head lightly, a thoughtful look upon his face.
Abilities may gain strength over the years, but.. He was sure that it was more along the lines, that he was unable to release his powers full potential when he had first discovered them.
"I wouldn't know the exact details on abilities; especially seeing as abilities differs with each kitsusagi."
He paused for a moment.
"Perhaps you should speak with other nightmares, later. They who have learned of their abilities may have more knowledge than I possess?"
He nodded to himself, and began to ponder on how she may be able to discover her hidden powers. He was sure that not all nightmares are able to discover their abilities in a similar manor. No, he was positive. There must he hundreds of different ways, his was more of an offensive attack, so maybe that was why anger triggered his ability? Who knows.. This was all getting a little confusing..

(( Though I'm not quite sure how to make her realize this gravity power. xDD~ I PMed [Kitsusagi] about Shaolin, Im not sure who, but they said it was okay as long as I dont god-mode it. heart No random squashing of any kitsus. XDD~ ))
Well, Shaolin couldnt expect every nitemare's abilities to come out in the same manner as Raikou's. Such a foolish thought that was. It was like saying all kitsusagis were the same.
" It is possible for one's power to be unnoticable, but I must admit, your gift is rather obvious. " Shaolin could still remember the bright flash of light, not less then ten minutes ago. Shaolin couldnt possibly predict how one's power could come out because .. well.. anything was possible. Even floating, although she couldnt quite picture it.
Floating.. hm. That appealed to her somehow. Oh well. Shaolin brushed the thought off, her tail lightly swishing back and forth, creating a small sound of air rushing. A moment of silence came, before Shaolin remembered.
" You have another nitemare in your family, assuming from our earlier conversation right? Did she discover her powers yet? " Shaolin could only assume the other nightmare was an adult, but she wasnt sure.( For some reason, as I think about Shaolin, I think about the famous movie, Matilda where the cup floats and the teacher keeps pushing it down, and then realizes what's happening. XDD))

(( Hum, Kumo's ability is not official yet, but her ability if it is permitted is going to be a Lvl 5 curse, called destruction of the five senses. She'll basically rob the offending foe of their senses for a short while. :B ))
Raikou held his head in thought for a moment, he had never really talked to Kumo, she was quite the distant creature, keeping to herself and snarling at those who approached her--the typical nightmare personality that everyone expects.
With a shake of his head he turned to 'look' at Shaolin once more, before giving a slight shrug, even though she was unable to see it.
"I wouldn't know, I hardly know her myself. I've only recently become a part of this little family, and though she was here longer than any us, she never really tends to talk to others."
He paused for another moment, trying to recall what age she was.
"She would be around your age, but I was told by my human that she hatched late and had a slow growing process.. Though, she is an adult now."

(( Sorry Mines is so late 8D; Kumo's ability sounds cool~ Something like from a video game xD ))
Shaolin considered it common for kitsusagis not to know their family, so she didnt consider it strange. But then, She, herself had got to "spend" lot's of time with her "family." Hearing about Kumo's growing process, Shaolin could relate.
" My owner mentioned I had a slow growing process, But it might of been typical. After all, if we're all different, we certainly can't all grow up with the same period of time in-between. " Shaolin might of been able to word it better but she didnt. She felt at comfort talking with another nitemare, surprisingly of all, the first one.
Shaolin turned her head, into what she thought was his direction, and sighed comfortably.
" Your're an very easy-going one. But it's always the kind ones that get hurt the most in the end. "

Him, get hurt? Hah! If he wasn't in such a good mood he would have given her a spiteful remark on that one.
Characters like him normally didn't get hurt from anything but physical injuries; he was just one of those few who didn't let emotional feelings get the better of him.
"No, I don't think so. Well, not me anyways."
He said with a slight smile, before settling back upon his haunches again.
"So you were one of few who went through that strange delayed growing process as well?
Here I was thinking there wasn't that many, but it seems that there were quite a few that I didn't know about."
Flicking an ear he shook his head and dragged his claws against the floor.
"Enough of this subject though, there are better conversations to discuss--so.. Let's discuss them."

Tis alright. :3 I haven't been able to get on much lately anyways. :3 And glad you like her ability, hopefully it'll get approved soon. X3 ))

When Raikou dropped the subject, Shaolin couldnt help but smile. Frank and straight to the point. A good quality that Shaolin thought could be in more kitsusagi instead of going on and on, not getting to the point. As he talked, and dragged his claws against the floor, Shaolin wondered, how much a floor could take.
" Better conversation? That would refer to opinions I believe, but I share your opinion. So, what better topics can you think of? "
Shaolin pondered, Her head low, deep in thought if she had eyes, they would probably be staring off into space. Shaolin gave a quiet yawn, as a thought appeared.
" Have you ever been to an ocean? It's quite the feeling to frolic in the water, until it goes too deep that one nearly drowns. "
(( IS there an ocean in kitsusagi? XD ))

He shook his head lightly, a crooked grin spreading across his maw.
He had not been to an ocean before, but he had been to a lake.
Yes, a lake.. That was where I played that prank on that kitsu in my adolescence.
He thought to himself smugly, tapping his claws twice upon the floor once more, he brought his claws into the palm of his paw and made a slight fist.
"I've been to a lake. Which to me I consider the same, despite one is salt water and one is fresh water.
But I didn't exactly swim or frolic, if that’s what you’re asking."
He paused for a moment, in thought.
"Why? Do you wish to visit the sea side?"
(( I dunno' we’d have to ask one of the owners. XD;; ))

" A lake and ocean are vastly different. One has waves and one doesnt. And Besides, the footing for them are quite .. different. " Shaolin said lamely to Raikou's question, words escaping her, she just couldnt find the right terms.
What was that saying..? At the tip of my tongue?
Hearing Raikou's reply, Shaolin thought about it. Did Raikou take her question that way? .. She didnt really mean it like that. Uh.
Smirking, but Raikou couldnt see it anyways, Shaolin said smugly, " Well, I'm fortunate that was one of the few outside experiences I had. The slums are quite near the docks, and there are beaches around the docks if you go a bit off. "
A little more then a drop of friendly-humored sarcasticness leaked through the tones of her voice. Shaolin crossed her paws, her toungue flickered every couple of words, as Shaolin tried to picture the beach with the sounds she'd heard and waves she felt. Hmm.
" Take a visit to the ocean, and you'll probably see what I mean. I'm not especially good about my words, so I'd say my description would be rather unusual. Words really aren't my thing when you're trying to make poetry or describe something. Not an especially huge fault, since I'd think most of us wouldnt be making a sappy poetry of sorts. "

Raikou thought for a moment.
Waves were in both lakes and the oceans; it usually depended on the winds, though, it is known that oceans normally always have waves, despite the winds, and that they could usually be monstrous.
Ah hell, she was probably just reffering to the large ones.
He stopped thinking for a moment to catch her next sentence.
Ah that was right, she had mentioned about living in the slums and mentioned something along the lines of water.
Perhaps he would go visit the ocean at some point, not like he normally had anything better to do around these sort of places. Though, he did manage to get a vague image of him trying to walk through water, and it wasn't very appealing..
He listened to what she had to say next but soon got lost in thought about her current topic.
When did they get on the topic of poetry? Ah, I must have not been listening closely again..
A typical habit of his, he tended to go off in a daze and miss out on certain parts of the conversation.
Shaking his head he pretended to have heard the rest of the conversation, before he went off into thought again, luckily he had heard enough to make it convincing.
"Mmm, I tend to be rather uncreative at similar things as well."

Shaolin relaxed against her pillow, her body losing all tension it could of possibly had. 'Staring' at Raikou, Shaolin wondered how the topic had changed as well. Of course she had changed it.. but.. so random.
The musty scent of the room, floated over her forked tongue for awhile. It didnt appear as if any new ones were around. Silence hung in the air, Shaolin had nothing. Nothing to say.
" I've got nothing. You? " She was referring to topics of conversation, but since it was natural that kitsusagis usually understood what she meant, she didnt stop to think if Raikou understood it or not.
