Mare sulked for just a moment, then smiled and put the sauce- in a pot, of course- on the second burner and turned it on. A good one with the puppies, of course it was. "When in doubt, left," she called after her friend, already forgetting the "no-advice-if-you're-going-to-watch" rule as she cheerily stirred the pasta and sauce. It was common knowledge, anyway, she reasoned to herself. Her next thought was, would Lorika want some parmesan cheese?

Lorika paused her actions for a moment, sitting there in the living room, seriously considering something. After reaching a decision, she called back, "Ya know, I'm gonna that just to see what's going to happen." She flipped the "on" switch, not bothering to check what game's inserted into the slot at the moment. Anything'll do; it's just mindless stree relief, after all.
The introductory screen flicked on; Chain of Memories. How convenient. "Well, in this case," she added, "I'll see how long it takes me to get through Traverse Town, following your advice." not that there are that many room options on the first floor; but she'll try it, just because.
"I've always wondered why Namine's art skills deteriorated so much between CoM and KHII," she thought out loud as she watched the opening cutscenes.

She shrugged and pinched a spaghetti noodle, seeing if it would split. It didn't; it was still hard. No good. Mare dropped that particular noodle back into the pot and gave it a stir, before switching over to the sauce and stirring it. So what if the noodle water would be orange? Lorika would never know if she was never told. "I dunno, you won't let me play either of them," she whined loudly.

"Correction: I let you play CoM, you didn't want to handle the card system because it requires something other than bottom mashing. And we haven't even gotten KHII yet, so how coul-" Lorika stopped, suddenly realizing how she had contradicted herself.

"SEE???" Mare yelled, stomping her foot. The noodles were done, so she strained them. "See, see?" She dumped the noodles back into the pan, and was all smiles next time she saw Lorika. "Dinnertime! <3"
