um, that's why I watch the english dub versions. because I can't get on the computer much. and I'm really sorry if I offended you... (my whole thing is if I can't watch it, then I read it...I can hate the dub versions and still watch and respect them... sweatdrop )
I do know what some Japanese phrases mean, and I am planning to take a course in Japanese and Chinese when I can...>.<"

back to the topic of Host Club, though, does it seem like Hikaru likes Haruhi more, or Kaoru likes Haruhi more? Everyone says Kaoru does, but the manga implies that it's actually Hikaru that's more into Haruhi than Kaoru... (sorry for the tough question. Just needed a topic to talk about...)

U.U;; I haven't watched this anime yet so, I can't discuss anything...and I wasn't mad about you comparing me to anyone...^^;; Kinda can't be...
Anyway, I'm not really angry or anything, "otaku" is kind of "taboo" for me. It is GREATLY abused here and anime fans see it as a cute title to prove they're big anime fans. You want to know about Otaku's...here's a case scenario about an otaku:
"The term entered general use in Japan around 1989, and may have been popularized by Nakamori's publication in that year of The Age of M (Mの時代, M no Jidai?). It applied the term to the (then) recently caught serial killer Tsutomu Miyazaki, who turned out to be a recluse obsessed with pornographic anime and manga and who lived out his rape fantasies on young girls, thus attaching a huge taboo to a formerly innocuous term."

...disturbing. thank you for all that, I will be careful from now on. (search up Giant Robo on Wikipidea, and choose the OVA version!!)
well, all those (besides the killer...O.o) kinda sounded like me...a game freak, computer nerd, anime fan, manga fan...and on top of it all, I love to sing. whoever made that didn't ever really think a person could come along with all of those things...O.o (P'g does her reaserch...I AM NOT WORTHY!!!)
well, now that that has been settled (hopefully), Ouran is a great anime. but I need the ninth volume, so I can figure out what happens next... >.<

lesser scale? compared to most, yeah...but then again, I get pretty extreme...especially for Shaman King and some non-anime things... (like LotF!!)
ahem. you know youtube? that place is the best place for people to see all the things they miss in anime. also, there's a cool person who did a really good job of matching Ouran scenes to songs in RHPS. I like to watch it, but the words are kind of...adult content, so I need to keep the volume down...heh.
still needs ninth volume...>.< luckily will get money for the anicon soon...

YEAH!!! LORD OF THE FLIES TOTALLY RULES!!! XD, ha, and the "mucho conch"! that's so cool!! I thought that no one liked it...(by a show of hands in my class, only I really liked the book...)
you stills needs to watch the anime? wow...but then agian, I've only seen up to....13, I think...in ouran...

D : Yeah, I'll get around to it. I'm surprised it hasn't been dubbed yet. I still need to finish watching Digimon Savers before I can get to Ouran. ^^;; Long way to go...I also have to watch Nana.
^^ My fav character in LOTF was Simon... U.U;; but they killed him.

so, does anyone besdes me read the manga, or is it all about the anime? and if this question has been answered, then I ask is the manga better, or the anime? in your own personal opinion...

Prodigious_girl Mew Ichigo Ringo Hunny is so cute. He reminds me of Momoji O.O A character's name is "Hunny"? (tries to prevent self from laughing) Well, the name's actually Mitsukuni Haninozuka. Instead of Haninozuka, people call him Hani. In the English version, the call him Honey or Hunny.
