Wasnt the internet after the USSR though? Why do they have a list like that up anyway?

Uhmm... Has Russia produced any Nobel winners since the USSR broke up? sweatdrop

They could list the Nobel winners from the countries that are seperate from Russia but were part of the USSR

How is it unfair? Is it unfair to say that ALL arabs are uneducated... yes it is. Is it unfair to say the MAJORITY is uneducated? No, according to the Prize results we see that the majority are uneducated.

People's feelings for other groups change over time. There was a time where nearly every Western European welcomed the Jews (even Spain).

Uhm... there was never a time when all of Western Europe welcomed the Jews, ever. Spain was an exception and the only time they were welcome there was when the Muslims had control of the Iberian Peninsula ... even then they had to live with some restrictions, though they were nowhere near as horrible as the ghettos Jews were confined to in the rest of Europe.
