"O.k." Mecca said closing his eyes and focusing on his task of floating. and waiting for her to take her hands away. This was easy and quite fun if he thought about it. It felt like floating.

Smiling, Covet had already pulled her arms away before he had even given her the okay. She had felt him begin to relax and had known that he would be okay this time around. Running a finger down his crimson chest, she laughed a little at the look of concentration on his face. Letting him float until he was ready for the next step, she drifted away to a slightly deeper spot to tread water and swim around a bit.

Now he was floating Mecca decided to try and move down towards Covet. This was obviously going to be harder than she made it look. Frowning he turned to his front and made a messy doggy paddle over to her. Instincts taking over so that he could tread water albeit messily.
"Heh. See, I can get over my fears." He smirked as his confidence slipped and he had to cling to her to stop himself from sinking.

Covet smirked and took a deep breath as she felt him reach out to cling to her. She allowed him to pull her under for a moment, then reached up and took his arms in her hands as she resurfaced.
"Kick your feet like you're walking... not too fast or hard or you'll get tired," she said, spitting some water out as she sank back under again in her effort to help him stay afloat. Surfacing again, she smiled and pulled one hand away to help keep her head above the water.
"And uh... next time love... don't grab onto me or we'll both go under," she winked at him. "Just lay back and float. You'll be okay. I promise."

Mecca nodded and also spat out some water. He kicked his feet as she said and moved his arms. Rather pleased with himself for managing to stay afloat.
"Easy enough ... but also so hard." he said with a laugh as he looked at her through his wet hair.

Covet laughed and reached out to smooth his hair back out of his eyes. Glancing over her shoulder at the falls, she smiled and looked back at him.
"You're doing very well Mecca," she smiled and moved to start drifting towards the bank. "We'll save the falls for another day. Okay?" she smiled. He needed to get much more comfortable with the idea of swimming before having to swim across the to falling water where the pool was much choppier.
"So I ask you again," she smiled as her feet found purchase on solid ground. "How does it feel... to face your fear?"

Mecca looked at her and floated on his back again.
"It feels good." He said with a laugh as he moved his arms and floated back over to the shallows. "Maybe you can face yours properly and of your own free will on the way back home?"

"Um... no promises there," she smirked, moving over to him and placing a hand over his heart. "The difference between you facing your fear of swimming and my fear of heights is that if something happens to you, I can help you. What can you possibly do for me if I fall?" she asked, arching a brow and leaning down to press a soft kiss to his lips.

Mecca smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"I'd catch you." He smirked "I'm sure I can find a spell for that." Breathing the fresh air again he looked over towards the falls. it really was beautiful.
"You want to hope we don't both catch colds." He smirked. Kissing her briefly and turning to walk out of the water.
"Maybe I'll run off with your clothes." He smirked cheekily walking over to the pile on the floor.

Covet leaned into him and looked out at the peaceful scenery. She was truly a city girl at heart, but she could get used to the peacefulness of a place like this. She returned his smirk and kiss and watched him walk back out onto the bank.
"And what makes you think I have a problem with walking back naked?" she laughed, pulling herself out of the water. She stretched her wings and gave them a good shake to get all the water off of her feathers. "It's not like there is anyone here to see," she smirked, wringing out her long hair.

Mecca smirked and reached for his jacket to pull it on.
"Well now, aren't you a spoil sport today." He said turning back to grin at her. "I was hoping you would chase me."
Shrugging and smirking he started to walk back to the cave with Scim tagging along at his heels.

Covet smirked and reached for her clothes, slipping on her skirt and blouse. Picking up her corset and shawl, she started to follow after the pair, when another mischievious smirk slipped across her lips. He wanted to play chase? Then chase they would play, she thought, running up behind him and grabbing a lock of his long red hair.
"Tag!" she smirked as she gave it a good, hard yank and slipping past him with a soft laugh.

"Hey!" He cried breaking into a run as a sly grin slipped over his lips. he was sooo going to get her back for that.
Picking up speed, his coat flapping behind him he closed in on her, Scim running at his heels and barking.
Catching up with her he tugged her long hair and continued on past towards the cave.
"Last one back has to cook." he cried as he sped on.

Pausing to reach up as he pulled her hair, she smirked at his call and took off after him.
"Not that that's a good incentive for me to try to win," she called out to him. Gathering up her skirts, she started to close in on him. Smirking, she reached out for his long coat with her free hand and grabbed onto it, digging her heels into the ground so that she could use her weight to try to pull him back.

Mecca laughed and was yanked back by his coat.
"Hey, not fair." he cried as he stumbled a little befor managing to regain his balance.
"No cheating." Getting back on track he charged after her, though she definitely had the advantage now.
