Celendria's Compassion for Chepi

Rein_Carnation

Behold....

Celendria: Walked slowly as the air danced around her. Her thoughts on Shaylee and her child-like tendencies. A smile formed on her muzzle with contentment. She listened for any sounds, mostly hoping the human named Chepi might be around. It was cold and dark and she longed to see Euphoria. Breathing in a sigh she listened once again.

Chepi quietly entered in, a soft sigh escaping her as her brown eyes slowly looked around the cold and frozen land. Pulling her furs tighter around her shoulder she pushed away from the tree she had been leaning against and began to walk north.

She hummed as she carried on, with every step growing a bit more merry and a bit less carefull. Not looking where she was going, she slipped and twisted her ankle, going knee deep into a snow bank. She yelled against the sudden pain and closed her eyes tightly. "AH!" The cold numbed away the pain after a few moments, but she chepi was very cross with herself, not to mention her leg was very cold.

With a grunt she tried to remove her foot, only to find it was firmly lodged in place. Her eyes went large with a hiunt of fear as she began to frantically tear away at the snow that bound her leg.

Celendria: Heard a sound not too far off. It was reminicent to her of a two-legger err human she corrected herself. Pausing she galloped a bit following Chepi downwind so she would be spotted. Pulling herself to a more comfortable walk, she found a rock about the size of an apple. Clenching it between her teeth she tossed it like Chepi did with the apples before.

As it rolled along the ground, it tumbled along till it stopped bumping Chepi's foot. The ice mare waited there paitiently to be noticed as it seemed this was their usual greeting.

Finally it seemedthe snow let go of her leg with a mighty pop. Chepi fell backwards and tumbled a bit with a low grown. She shook her head and sighed pulling her self up and dusting off the freash snow from her furs. It was then that she noticed the rock that rolled down the small hill and bumped lightly against her foot. She blinked a bit and tilted her head, turning to look up to where the rock had come from...and there stood the icy mare, looking as majestic as ever.

Lightly limping she walked before the mare and produced the ever taughting winter apple, wondering if the mare would finally come to her for the treat.

Celendria: Whickered as she watched that magic apple appear. This time she wasn't hesitant as she made her way toward Chepi. Her mouth seemed to simply drool for that one apple. With a few grunts and a nicker she nibbled at the apple in Chepi's hand. Indeed it was delicious as she drank that sweet juice. She nickered and playfully tossed her head into Chepi's chest. It had been so long since she felt the need to be a filly once more. She missed it dearly.

Celendria: Awoke in a nestle of trees not far from the village where Chepi lived. She was hesitant about humans after what had happened with Rowanoak, but still put her trust in Chepi. Sighing she stood there as if waiting for something. She was a wanderer and wondered why now of all times was she lonely?

Chepi looked up at the night sky and sighed softly, The experiance with the stripped mare had slightly wounded her spirt. She did however understand why the horse would be so upset..yet if it was not the mother horse...why would she had gotten into such a hissy?

A small shrug of her shoulders and a small sigh and those thoughts drifted from Chepi's mind. Her long raven tresses danced upon the frozen wind that drifted through the air. The night was cool, and so she pulled her furrs tighter around her shoulders.

Glancing off into the disance a flash of blue caught her eyes, followed by a stream of silver. Perplexed Chepi walked out into the snow. Was the mare checking up on her? Granted as of late she had been quite clumbsy, but was that really the reason? She'd never seen the icy mare so close to the village before...

Celendria: Stood there watching the teepees with their strange bits of colored air coming from them. She inhaled the air smelling the burning wood and other scents of the human way. She had not traveled to the mountains lately for some reason as spring was approaching. She sighed deeply and closed her eyes for a moment as the phantom wingbeats played in her mind like a long forgotten melody.

Chepi smiled as she approched the mare, and in their customary greeting, she gently tossed a winter apple at the horses hooves.

She was feeling better, and a bit more like her self..even though she had a slightly injured leg to show for it. The fright with the horse and the basket seemed to have scared some sense into her.

Her brown eyes watched quietly as the icy mare ate the apple...she herself seemed to be drifting away to a far off place lately. Her manner spoke of one who's mind was elsewhere. Chepi found herself wondering what the mare could be day dreaming about.

Celendria: Looked at Chepi in a silly smile though her eyes remained calm and silent. Her nickers though were geniune as she greeted the human girl. The apple was a pick-me-up for certain with the ice mare. She smiled oncec more as the wing beats discipated into the arriving night. Craning her neck downward she allowed the girl to pet her, as it was custom routine these days to the ice mare. But, lingering in her mind she wondered where her old friends were these days.

Chepi's finger tips slowly slid down the icy mares neck, giving her a soft pat of affection. "How have you been then? You seem to be day dreaming often." She said with a half sigh, she knew she would get no reply...at lest in terms she could understand, so she chuckled and ran her fingers through the silky silver mane.

Her gaze found the stars and she gave a whistful sigh. "sometimes I wish I could understand you.. I must say... in the last few days you have become a most trustworthy friend."

Celendria: Listened to Chepi with another nicker as it chimed from her throat. She was quite happy that this human had earned her trust. It was as if the lonliness void was gone from her thoughts. Still though what was she feeling deep down? Only Celendria knew but could not say.

She tossed her head and whinied as if the sadness was washed clean. Looking almost playful she flipped her tail back and forth as it brushed against Chepi. She felt it foolish to even show she was lonely. Better to be chipper and not worry the human that watched her.

Chepi smiled and gave the mare an affectionat scratch, before a wry grin crossed her face. "...lets run..." she said... and with a glint in her eye she took off, slowly at first looking back at the mare who didnt quite understand her.

She let out a rollnig laugh and ran along the thinning snow, parts of it turning into slush, yet she was farful with her footfals and found only safe ground. Again a laugh escaped her as she hurried on, hoping that soon enough the icy mare would find the sheer joy of running free to help clear her mind.

Catori looked up at the moon her tail swishing ' well, i should probably leave you two doves alone ' she said, a grin on her face " nice to meet you Settia ' she said, nuzzeling the mare in a very sisterly way and once again nipping at dyami before trotting off, shouting over her shoulder ' ill see you guys tomarrow! " she said, troting off till she caught a familiar glimps of blue.

Celendria: Dazed only for a moment as he whinnied long and loud galloping after Chepi. The wind whipped in her hair sending it flying behind her. Tossing her head she seemed to enjoy herself to no end. It was in escence a long time that she got to enjoy herself fully. Casually in a light run she past Chepi like she was standing still.

Little Chepi could only laugh as the strong icy mare past her quickly, leaving her standing in her wake. Still she ran, trailing after the icy mare until her legs could take no more, and her side began to ache. With a grin she came to a stop, panting for her breath and called after tha mare. "Ok, You win!" and with a laugh she fell back into the snow.

Chepi laid there in the snow for a long moment before the cold seemed to begin to seep into her warm body. She opened her eyes and gave a long sigh, and moved her arms and legs about her, having run leaving her shape in the snow. Her mark upon the world that would fade as the weather warmed.

Catori poked her head around a small bush to see Celendria race past, and a two legger attempt to chase her following. A big smile spreak across her face as the small mare darted out fro the bushes, attempting to catch up celendria, her littel red hooves letting her fly past the two legger twords celendria, letting out a joyfull whinny as she neared.

Celendria: Heard a clammer of hooves behind her and whinnied a greeting to the one she knew well from the mountains. Catori a very spirited mare. Swishing her tail she noticed Chepi and darted over quickly to examine her. Her whickers immediate and worrisome as she watched wide-eyed. Raising her head up she greeted Catori. "Hello there. What brings you down from the mountain?"

Farland

Catori smiled, " A friend of mine is expecting littel ones, and i wanted to visit him and his amte before the mountain paths get to muddie ' she said ' and before the littel ones arive ' she said happily, her much shorter mane whipping around her face. " She is a rather lovely mare, and i am glad he is happy " she said with a smile.

Still being in a rather playful moon she smiled up at the icy mare as she bent down to examine her. She patted her muzzle and looked over at the white mare with a grin. "I see you have brought a friend." She giggled and scooping up a handfull of snow she tossed a small bit at the icy mare, knowing full well the cold wouldnt bother her.

She Sat up out of the impression in the snow, and shook off her furs, looking up at the new mare that had materialised while she'd been rolling in the snow. "You're a pretty one too..friend of This Icy mare are you?" Her brown eyes slowly swept over the festive form of the white mare. "You seem alot friendly than that other one... so" she reached into her pouch and produced two apples, one for each.. if she continued doing this she would not only spoil the horses rotten, but she'd run out of apples before spring!

Celendria: Shook herself as the snow hit her. It was like a minor fly landing on her thick coat. Smiling she nibbed Chepi with and grunt and nicker. Raising her head she looked at Catori. "A friend? Hmm do I know him?" she queried happily, "Did they have baskets? I'm so filled with wonderment thinking about baskets." she said with a silly giggle.
"Catori have you seen a sandy colored stallion with white wings pass your way?" She tried not to worry but wondered where he had traveled to these days.

She smiled and nibbeled on the appel.. wich was gone after only a moment, and nuzzeled the two legger happily before turning her crimson eyes twords celendria ' I do not know... he looks alot like me, his name is Dyami? " she said, tilting her head curiously " and no, i have not, i dont realy know many others side from you, Dyami and his mate, and that hyper littel flutter... "

Celendria: Frowned that Euphoria hasn't been around but threw it behind her. "Oh yes I know Dyami he's mated to Settia if I'm correct. Hmm shaylee was babbling the other day about being in love, but not in love.. but yet. Hmm she is quite hyper", she chuckled and ate her apple.

" Oh? " she asked, curiouse about the fairy saig she was in love, for catori thought she was to child-like toe ven comprehend the concept. " Do tell more! ' she said, inching closer, extreamy interested.

Celendria: smirked and leaned in closer. "Something about another flutter that she babbled about. Quite insistent on telling me about this." she nodded with a flick of her ears. "She mentioned his name is Azure. Though can she really be in love with... another flutter? Is it possible?" she queried with the wierdest look on her blue velvety face.

" I didnt even know there were other flutters! " has never seen any ' hmm.. happens we shall have to follow her and try to find out more ' she said with a nod, though imagening their two large forms following the flutter, who had a tendancy to get tossed around in the wind, seemed slightly rediculas to her.

Celendria: Felt like she was scheming with Catori and laughed about it.
"I agree it would be rather interesting to see a male flutter. But then again shaylee is hyper and could be making it up. She also said something about a Kalona with cool wings. Any idea who or what that is?" she asked as she swished her long silvery tail back and forth.

She shook her head " remember... i dont know many here, i have never seen a kalona... i didnt even know they were real! " she said, he red eyes shineing ' though i must agree with you, she does seem one to make things up, o wouldent put it past her "

Celendria: Shook her head and frowned, "Everly whacked into a tree the other night. I'm not sure why he follows her that closely." she said with a frown. "Hmm maybe he has seen this flutter stallion she was going on about. Perhaps he can verify if its true or not." she giggled and closed her eyes for a moment as the wind danced about her.

" OH! brilliant idea! You think we can track him down at thsi time of night? " she asked curiously, for she had only talked to the littel fox on a few ocasions "

Celendria: Thought for a moment, "This time of night little flutters are asleep, which meand Everly can go out and hunt for food without being stressed. I think if we try we could find him among the trees lookng for a snack." she nodded with a swish of her tail.

The ice mare stood waiting outside the village as she knew the human known as Chepi wouldn't be too far off. She closed her eyes and listened to the wind, such a beautiful sound it always made. Her ears swiveled off and on listening for any sound or noise to alert her of danger looming.

It had been almost a week now that she did this routine, some may have thought she was bonded to that particular human. Call it good nature in her own regards that she did indeed favor Chepi lately.

A yawn escaped Chepi, and she drew her lithe fingers through her ebony tresses. Blinking sleepily out against the icy plains she smiled, as out in the distance she saw the form of the mare. Lately she'd grown accustomed to the sight of the mare. Glancing back at the busy village, and with a smirk she ducked into her teepee, only to emerge a few moments later with her winter furs placed warmly over her shoulders.

She walked quitelt out away from the village, and as she approched, she sent her customary winter apple sailing through the air. It landed with a soft squish on the thawing ground and rolled to a stop about 5 feet from the mare's hooves.

The ice mare chuckled to herself as she craned her neck down to reach the apple. The sweetness filled her nostrils as she ate it with a grunt and a wicker of thank you. She raised her head upwards again watching the girl for anything else she had planned or up her sleeve.

Chepi smiled as she watched the mare enjoy her treat. She walked forward slowly and rubbed her hand along the velvet blue fur of her neck. "Hello again.." she said with a chuckle."You seem to be hanging around here more often." Patting the icy mare's strong neck she glanced around for any sign of the other horses that this one seemed to run with. However she doubted so many would willingly wander so close to the village.

Celendria perked her ears and snorted as her head turned. Dyami wasn't too far from her and... could it be? The mare looked at Chepi and nodded as she headed off for a trot toward the two. "Dyami.... is that... Kanti?" she queried with a huge smile.

Kanti ears perked up. Who was this icy colored mare that was coming toward her. She didn't recongize her... or at least she had never seen her outside if her basket. "Hello.....who are you" she said prancing up to her to get a closer look at her.

Dyami turned his head at the mention of his name and saw Celendria. he nodde." yes this is kanti, and i actualy meet her berifly a while back." he smiled at her." and its been a while since i have seen you."

Celendria: Whinnied with joy as she knew it was Kanti. "I'm just so happy to see you dear one. I used to talk with you when you were in that basket." she nodded happily. "I'm Celendria from the Northern mountains... Alona is a wonderful friend of mine.""

Quietly watched in awe as the little filly approched the icy mare. A smuie crossed her face as she watched the interaction between the two. She giggled and reatched into the pouch at her side, and offered the little filly a winter apple as well, hoping the mare wouldnt be to jealous of her kind gesture.

Upon the hill stood the shimmering ice mare, whom watched the land below. Her hair shining white strands blending and flowing outward like rapid water. Teal orbs surveyed the scene before her, so lush and green past all the snow that still lie in places making the ground soft yet still decent in footing. By her long slender legs stood a smaller creature that blended with the snow. Its eyes peering as intently as her own. Craning it's little neck the wolf looked up to the mare waiting for a response of what they should do.

Rein_Carnation

The ice mare smiled softly at the young pup, eyes showing reassurance that none would come to harm. "Amadahy there is a huge world in front of you. Stay close to me and no harm will come to pass." she motioned with her muzzle. "Come let us enter that world and find comfort in others to talk with and trust." Flicking her silken ears, he muscles twitched, as she bounded off in a canter, her legs stretching outward to give her speed and grace. Still though she kept pace for the pup to comprehend and follow with.

The wolf pup moved with her, its coat soft yet bristling as it too stretched its legs to keep up with the frost colored mare. Little pants escaped its throat, tongue lolling downward as it kept speed and accuracy as her companion mare.

Again he smiled lightly as he could see the pink hue dancing across her milky white cheeks. His tail flicked and he took a step forward lightly pressing his nose agaisnt her warm flank. "No worries darlin, I often say whats on my mind. " He chuckled and took a step back, raising his head and bowing it at the same time to look the small mare in the eyes. "The mood does make you looke radiant though..." He pranced his front feet lightly as he heard the sound of distant hooves running towards him.

"I my dear, am new to this place. Although I hail from the mountains like yourself. I have never really wandered out this far before.. but I think with the day I have been having.. I shall be having to come down here more often."

He glanced back over his shoulder at the blue streak galloping towards him and smiled. His tail gave a flick and spun around to greet the new arival. "Greetings Celendra, You are a sight for sore eyes..."

Farland

She blushed again, her cheeks a faint rosey color, though her eyes shined happily, looking up at him, for once wishing she wasnt so small. Her ears twiched as she heard someone comeing, a sound like soft thunder, of wich she knew was another. And almost on cue a comet of blue fire streaked across the feild twords them.

As the stallion turned to greet Celendria, she herself gave a happy whinny, raising up on her hind legs before landing lightly, her red hooves danceing delicatly across the snow covered ground, pranceing in a littel circle as her herd-mate came near.

Rein_Carnation

Celendria galloped , her legs shining with irridecence as she came in for a pause of her run. Flicking her tail, legs balanced and straightened she bowed her delicate head to Catori and Sheridan. "Greeting you two. Hmm Sheridan such a flirt as always I see." she remarked smirking with a nod.
Shaking herself she relived the tension that harbored in her withers and lower hocks. Lowering her head she motioned for her companion to come outward and meet the other two Soquili.

The small wolf blinked her charming blue eyes up at the larger mare whose eyes seemed reassuring at best. She gulped heavily, padding out from between the the giant mares strong stable legs. "hello." she squeaked with another yip that gurgled from her throat.

Shariea

Sheridan gave a Knowing smile and nodded his head. "As always My dear Celendria, as always." He laughed and bent his head down low to examine the shy and timmid female wolf. His ears flicked back and forth before he finally smiled. "Hello there little one."

He raised his large head, and glance back at Catori with a laugh, rather thinking the little mare to be quite pretty when she was hopping about like a filly. "you two know echother then?" He glanced back and forth between the two and steped towards the middle of the group, as to be able to see everyone while speaking. His long rbony tail danced against the ground as he gracefully moved aside.

Farland

Catori nodded, smileing at her, her eyes shineing bright ' Celendria and i live in the same littel valley in the mountains " she said, her tail swishing around in a very whip like fashion " Along with the flutter, we kinda of like a mini-herd " she said, turning her glowing scarlet orbs twords the icy mare. She tilted her head to the side, and being much smaller then either of them lowered her head slowly, not wanting to scare the dear littel pup.

" Hello there, My name Catori, i hope ill be seeing alot more of you if you are going to be following out lovely blue around ' she said with a sweet smile. " What might be your name? " she asked, her littel white ears flicking.

Sitting, snuggeled up in the twisted roots of an anciant tree, sat a delicate littel basket, Black as the night around it. Two delicate grey feathers ruffeled from tis baskt, the ebony weavings protecting the fragil life inside. Woven into the rim of the lid, was a metalic grey stone... strangely remind someone of a twisted skull.

This information seemed to perplex Sheridan, he tilted her head and looked over at Catori. "Is that so?" He laughed and tilted his head backwards, sahking it in his mirth. Obsidian tresses follwoing his movements like streamers. "Then I find it quite strange that we havent met before now."

He smiled at Celendria and gave a small shrug of his large shoulders. "Then again, I havent been in the moutains of the reigion very long.. this whole place is new to me. " His graze dropped to the little wolf and he chuckled again. "I suppose I'll be seeing alot of you as well, little one.."

With a museing expression he turned back towards Catori. "Or perhaps I should call you, little one? However right now Radiant one suites you better." he winked and bright his gaze to celendria. "and the ice Goddess before us..."

Rein_Carnation

The little pup meekly stood there shivering it seemed, perhaps afraid something would happen. "Amadahy. Celendrias found me all alone." she sqeaked with another shiver, her mouth trying to pronounce her words as they came to her. A tiny feather seemed to accent the little female's eyes as she looked upard at all of them. "I'll... be staying with Celendria miss Catori."

Celendria watched the pup with adoring eyes. It wasn't a foal sadly but it was her companion familiar now. That in a sence was like watching over your own child. She was proud of Amadahy for taking an initiave of being polite to her friends. As the wind spoke in a soft language the mare swieled her keen ears. She seemed entranced by something buried under the spring grass that grew outward like a tree. Making a nicker that escaped from her throat, she decided to inspect what it was. And upon her inspection she realized it was a basket.

Farland

Catori flicked her eyes up twords shriden, the orbs glowing like embers setteled in the snow. Though her face didnt suddenly glow bright as it had before, it could easily be seen that hre cheeks stained a rosy color, before she turned her attention back to thepup infront of her.

In hopes of makeing herself seem less scary and large, she setteled in the snow infront of the tiny pup, her slender legs folded under her. " Well then, i shall definatly be seeingyou " she said with a sweet smile, her eyes shinein kindly as she regarded the littel pup curiously. " You must be very brave, to have been out all alone untill Celendria found you " she said, a pang of admiration in her voice that would hopefully give the pup some more self-confidence.

The feathers on the basket ruffeled as a faint breeze blew past, something could be heard shifting inside, a faint rustle, but aside from that, the basket sat still, dark and alone within its littel nest of wood and grass.

If the ice mare could of celebrated she would had. Though it was not her own she longed to be with a basket. Her whickers were soft and maternal, as she leaned her head down to listen intently of the creature dwelling within. Everything else in the world seemed to melt further into non-existence around her. An infinite moment of quiet bliss as she nuzzled the basket lovingly.

The pup listened to Catori as a smile seemed to cover her meek little profile. "Its a scary place with no pack. No pack to run nor play with. Only little Amadahy till Celendria found her." she said with a timid nod. Turning her head she gazed upon the blue mare whom seemed entranced by something immensly. Whimpering she sat there wondering what the ice mare was doing.

Shariea

Sheridan blinked his deep brown eyes and tuilted his head as the icy mare seemed to be intranced by something in the soft grass. He glanced back at Catori who was engaged in conversation with the pup. He smiled and quietly walked away to join Celendria un-notied.

He bowed his head by the trunk of the tree and lightly sniffed at the basket below. "A rather gloomy looking basket.." He remarked quietly and gently nudged it with his nose. He gave a gental reassuing nicker to the foal within, showing his kind paternal side that could be glimpsed upon occasion behind his flirtaous mask.

"what do you think, Goddess of Ice? Filly or colt?" He asked her as he quietly raised he's head to study the small basket from his full height.

Farland

Catori gave a gentel smile and nodded " I can imagine, it must have been scarey. And you know... back in our valley there is a littel blue fox... mind you hes not a wolf but hes still around your size right now. Im sure he would be happy to keep you company " she said, smileing. She turne her head twords the other two examening something ' its seems Celendria seems to have found something... curiouse? " she asked, giveing a sidelong glance at the pup, scarlet orbs watching her curiously.

A small snort escaped from the lineing between the basket and the lid, before the tiny baby insaide curled back off and rifted to sleep, in its foggy baby state mildly curious about who was looming around its nice, dark, warm basket.

The ice mare nickered and perked her ears to the grunt of the little foal within. She beamed quite happily as she caught the hint of her having company. "Im not sure yet. Could be a colt I wonder." she said with a soft sigh as her great lungs heaved her happiness at that very moment. She was very delicate as her breath released blowing into the weaves where the child lay. "I will watch over this little one when it heads toward the outside world. Someday I will have my own, but for now I will be a friend to this little one." she blew once more toward the child with a deep smile.

The wolf kept watch up at Catori nodding as her ears picked up on several things she'd remember one time or another. "What's in there?" she queried with the most interested bit of curiousity. Glancing once at the milky white mare then padding over slowly to see what the basket held inside.

Sheridan glanced back at Catori and flashed one of his handsome smiles and nodded his head to the side, stepping over so that she and the little wolf may examine the basket with out crowding. His tail flicked gently back and forth as he bent down to sniff at the dark basket again.

Listening attentively to celendria he nodded, a thoughtfull express crossing his face. "I think you may be right...never the less there is a strength is this one." he smirked and quirked an eyebrow at the icy mare. "You so disire to have your own, But I think for awhile, even though a friend you may be.. You my have your hooves full with this one."

Rein_Carnation

Celendria smiled thoughtfully at his words of caution. "Yes I know. I've been on the move all my life, as I simply appeared with the coming winter this year. Like a bird who just one day decides its not heading to migration like the others. Oh how the wind mourns my decision to stay, but I must know of the other seasons." she said with another sigh as she blew outward to the weaves in the basket. "All young ones need someone to nurture them. I will take that task."

The young wolf padded over, sitting on her haunches as she looked curiously into the dark weaves of the somber basket. "There's a baby in there? How did it get in there?" she asked looking up at the others.

Shariea

Sheridan smiled thoughtfully and tilted her head. "well then.. it will be good to hear the sound of a child in our medow." he nodded and glanced behind him, to the coll night. "alas My lady, I fear I must depart for now. My legs are aching to run, as im sure this little foals will be soon enough. Take care now, Ice goddess." He smiled and nudge her gently against her front shoulder. "and you take care as well little one." he added as he gklanced down at the timid wolf.

With that he reared back on his hind legs for but a moment before springing forward and racing into the inky night, his obsidian tail trailing behind him.

Narci and Azure fluttered down from the mountain, both of them starting to get bored with each other's company. Its not that they didn't... like each other. But their personalities were too similar to click together. The two awkward friends trotted around the meadow, looking for new Soquili, preferably female, to familiarize themselves with.

Narci perched himself near a tree and idly scratched his shoulder against the bark. Echo, his little rabbit friend, was just finally catching up to the two larger creatures that had the blessing of flight. She nibbled on some grass and stood near Narci's feet protectively. Well, looking abuot as protective as a bunny could.

Azure fanned his wings in the sunlight, taking a few bites of grass to chew on, but mostly just looking around for company.

Rein_Carnation

The childish purple flutter Soquili named shaylee flitted down toward the ground. Her smaller hooves touching upon the half saturated turf beneath her. With a pout she flicked her tail back and forth looking for something to do. Her wings shimmered pearlized as the thin structures caught the sun, returning it back with full radiance. She was happy to have lost her familar once again, such a worry wort he was.

Azure took notice of a purple flutter off in the distance. Giving a snort of acomplishment, he whinnied back at Narci then took to the air again, soaring over to where, to his delight, he found Shaylee. "How lucky I am," he called to her, landing, "my day as just gotten so much brighter seeing you, my dear."

Rein_Carnation

The purple flutter stood munching on her favorite snack; sugar plums. Her cheeks filled deeply making her look like an over stuffed squirrel with fall storage. Upon hearing his deep voice she nearly swallowed the entire plum she was savoring. Eating as fast as she could she flicked her fluffy tail and looked at him sweetly. "Hey its you. Azure right?" she asked with bright wide eyes. A girl couldn't forget nor even try of a stallion that incredibly handsome. "Brighter? How so?" she giggled and watched him intently wondering what he was up to.

Azure flashed a dazzling smile - his white teeth stood out nicely against his pitch black fuir - and tossed his mane, knowing how his hair would catch the sunlight. She was very cute, Azure caught thinkinh to himself. He walked up close to her, standing just close enough that his shoulders brushed up against her. "Yes, Azure. Shaylee, yes?" He sniffed the air, getting a wiff of the sweet treat she was eating. THat kind of information might come in handy later.

"Brighter, of course, because I get to talk to you. I was getting quite lonely to tell you the truth."

Shaylee couldn't help but oogle at him with a smile of a child. Naive as she was things tended to catch her attention more than others. And wow... he was a vision to her, his coat shimmering obsidian in the sunlight. She weaved her own wings with a delicate flutter as if being quite flirty the way she was acting. Tilting her head with batting eyelashes she wondered why he said that just now. "Lonely? Talk to me?" she repeated with a twinge of excitement. "I was so happy to talk to you last time... and that other Soquili... erm Kalona was there too." she nodded with a shiver feeling how close her was to her right now.

Azure kept his proximity to Shaylee. He remembered the Kalona well. While she was beautiful in a severe way, he was alltogether imtimidated by her. Not that he would ever admit that.

"Yes, I would love to talk to you. Alone. That Kalona mare didn't make for very nice conversation. Flutters like you and me... we're more affiable to the finer things in life than she. We can appreciate the subtle things. And recognize true beauty when we see it. Like I'm seeing right now," he said, looking pointedly at her.

Shaylee reminised for a moment of how incredibly cool the Kalona's wings were. Stating the fact that Izusa had flaunted how hers were better than theirs. Something about the Kalona, though facinating as she was seemed downright creepy to the female flutter.

Her little heart beat so rapidly that it fluttered immensly off and on.
He complimented her yet again. Now she purred as if something was wound up inside of that tiny form. "She was a bit antisocial. Yeah you're right that flutters are different. Hmm so what is it you want to talk about?" she queried with a distinct blush as it hued upon her now raspberry cheeks.

Azure smiled and rolled his neck in a horse-equivalent of a shrug. "I don't care what we talk abuot, I'm just happy to have the company." He noticed a bit of Sugarplum juice on her muzzle and he used the oppurtunity to wipe it off with his own. "What was m'lady munching on?"

Rein_Carnation

Shaylee couldn't help but smile as he took the curtousey to remove the last of the plum juice that had wandered. "Ohh hee that's a Sugarplum. They are my favorite thing in the whole world. That and doing something fun, like say diving from the falling leaves. Most times its just myself because the other mares don't have time to play. Well that..." she leaned in closer to him and whispered, "and they don't have wings as grand as ours either." She smiled and watched him curiously wondering still what he was contemplating.

Azure chucked and made a mental note that she liked Sugarplums more than anything in the whole wide world. He would definately have to look into getting some for her.

"Indeed, I haven't seen many other Flutters around these parts. Not that it would matter, you would be the most pretty little thing I've ever seen, even if you didn't have your wings. Though, I must say they are an added delight."

Rein_Carnation

The purple shimmering flutter was simply beaming by the comments she was bestowed by someone grand as beauty in itself. She flitted her long slender transparent wings still entranced by the web he was spinning. If only Everly was around she might think more clearly... wait a sec. Why was she thinking of that annoying grump fox at a time where she was feeling like a princess.

"You make me feel so special Azure. No one has ever told me how beautiful I am." she said with a bat of her lashes smiling indefinitely toward him. "I've never seen anyone that shines like you do. No other Soquili stallions that have talked to me have said such nice things. Thank you." she nodded with another blush.

Azure put on an expression of shock. "How could no one have every told you that? Your whole life, really? I find that hard to believe." It was the truth, as thich as he was laying it one. She was certainly a striking creature. "Well, if you let me, perhaps I can make up for lost time. I could talk about your beauty all day if you would let me."

Rein_Carnation

Shaylee blinked at his words, reminded her so much of sugar in itself. Like a confectionary floating with sprinkles and added SugarPlums. Cheeks flashed more of a reddish crimson than they had been previously. Her eyes sparkled peering through her silvery amethyst forelock with such adoration that she could ever show.

"Seriously. Most of the time the other mares think I'm a ditz. a clumsy little scatterbrained sugar high fairy." she repeated with a sadness to her usually perky voice. "It makes me happy to have someone say such nice things. Even my familar Everly.. he has never told me. Feel free to say as much as you like. Hrm... and I'll dwell on how handsome you are. Such radiating light from your wings. Reminds me of the rainbow."

Azure was a bit surprised, but a releaved, when she took a more serious tone. It meant she was opening up to him. That was a good sign, definately. "Many do not understand exactly how us Flutters work. You see, why others see 'ditzy' we are just carefree. We're dancing through life, not letting the little things of life bring us down. So many Soquili let things worry them so. We know better. We know when to laugh, and when to take things seriously and when just to laugh and keep flying by. Its why we're so beautiful - we know what we want and we make no excuses for it." He gave a warm smile and nuzzled her gently behind her ear.

She listened to his voice, a soothing shiver that comforted her. He was right she thought silently... we are different. That in itself, a statement of pure truth became her cherished heartfelt feelings. A tear escaped her eye just then, a shining jewel that slid off her cheek toward the ground below. For once she was appreciated.

"Is it wrong to enjoy yourself on days where the leaves blow so free? To flit from place to place laughing full of mirth because you want to? You are right Azure. We are different. We are beauty in itself. Misunderstood we are always shuuned for who we are." she announced with a new brightness as she stood tall, puffing out her delicate chest. Her wings filtering the light of the sun, dancing around them like others of the flutter race.

Azure nuzzled her face again at the sight of the tear. "Wrong? It would be a sin not to," he said, watching the trees sway in the distance. "All this beauty around us that often gets ignored by others. Everyone knows a flower is pretty, or a gemstone, or a feather. But we can also see the beauty in everything. The grass, the clouds, the wind, the rain... everything's pretty it its own way. And once you start to look at life that way, its just such a much happier way to live your life.

He spread his wings, and giving her a playful n**, launched himself up into the air, catching a updraft of wind. "Come fly with me?" he asked, flapping in the breeze. With a laughing whinny he turned around and headed off towards the mountains, beckoning her to follow."

The female flutter felt so special she pranced after him with the largest smile, painting her pretty features. She leapt to the skies, wings outstretched dappling the ground below in vibrant hues of purples that faded back after she had past. Her outstretched legs helping her balance as she climbed higher to catch him.

Rein_Carnation

The ice mare stood by the base of the tree sighing quite heavily these past few days. Her cherished basket in which she watched over had released its contents revealing a strong filly with an almost sadistic nature. While yes Celendria was like a mother to her, the filly seemed inverted around the others. More so Shaylee sqeauling in fear of being bitten or as she put it "eaten".

The thought was lyrical to the blue toned mare. It simply added up to Shaylee not pestering the foal. Which all in due time was for the best. She wasn't sure on Catori's reaction nor Sheridan. Speaking of which where is he anyway? She contemplated deeply to track his flirtatious hide down if need be. Raising her sleek delicate profile to the heaves, she noted how sparkling the sky was this very night. A thousand lights that streamed for miles across the black canvas that was called the sky.
Her ears swiveled, catching the faintest whisper in the wind's song.

The sky was falling.

Celendria snorted as the brightest star shot from the heavens toward the ground beneath it. Lifting her right foreleg she brought it down rather sharply in surprise to the strange thing she had seen. Over the hill it traveled till it disappeared without a trace. She sniffed the air as it seemed odd in fragrance. Her feet moved slowly, though every fiber of hair on her neck was ripping with curiousity.

What fell from the sky?

Looking back at the village one last time she turned in stride galloping out toward the falling star. Whatever she'd find it would be of interest to the ice mare. She was in agreement with that fact alone. Reaching over the hill her senses led her to the serene quiet of the night. In the near distance a dazzling item caught her eye as it shimmered in the moon's gaze. Raising her head she moved in closer to inspect it.

"A basket? Here in the middle of nowhere?" she murmered, leaning in to sniff at the peculiar white weaves with the purple trim. Listening closely she noted the faint yet quiet breathing of a foal, as it lie nestled in its basket. Instantly, Celendria's depression fleeted away and discipated as air. The snow had fallen before leaving such a nice blanket over the still fridgid ground. This of course made the mare's thoughts work like clockwork. Pushing the basket with her nose as weight and determination were behind her the entire way back to the place she had called home.

Shariea

Sheridan was forever a free spirit and didnt stay in one place to long, unless there was a certain female there with him now adays. He smiled to himself at the memory of their beach trip. The chocolate stalion paused as his deep eyes gazed up towards the twinkling sky. His hair seemed to stand on end as he searched for the cause. Tonight there was electricity in the air, something magical was afoot. With a brilliant whinny Sheridan's mighty hooves rose from the ground, rearing up in celebration of this joyous night. At the same moment as his hooves touched the ground he saw the shooting star, and with another joubilant cry he raised it through the trees. Following the bright light, his strong hooves bearing him forth.

The chocolate Stalion brust through the forest in time to see the icy mare carefully removing the basket. He tilted his head and looked around for the source of the light, his velvet ears flicking this way and that. Had the basket fallen from the sky?

"Ice Goddess..." He called out to her, and quickly pranced to her side in a manner that suited him. He smiled and lightly nudged her flank. "Did that basket fall from the sky?" he asked, clearly perplexed and exited by the whole thing.

Rein_Carnation

Celendria, a form of ice born unto a horse, stood with her head bowed toward the basket infront of her. Her own motherly insticts taking place as she whickered for the foal to catch her sincerity and warmth. When a tiny squeal was given in return the ice mare's confidence increased ever more.

"I do not know" she murmered in response to the chocolate dipped stallion, "I saw a star fall from the sky. When I followed its location, there sat this basket."

She clinged to another whinny that was more like a squeak inside the basket. The little one shifted as if trying to get closer to the blue toned mare. This made her whinny in such joy, she wanted to dance. What though was the key word as she wondered how special this little one truly was not to mention why it had fallen from the sky. Was it possible that Celendria had been granted a special gift?

Shariea

A light breeze washed through the fertile grass and gently toyed with the long ebony tresses of the chocolate stalion. His velevet ears flicked towards the basket as the small whinny and sounds of momenvent greeted him and the icy mare. "Well.. i think we can both agree there is something special about this little one." He lightly, with a paternal tenderness that many would find out of place on the flirtatous male, nudged the basket. His nostrils flared puffing out warm white steam against the cold night air.

Almost suddenly he seemed to raise his head, a sudden thuoght crossing his mind as the seriousness of this joyous occasion seemed to sink it. "We need to get it out of the cold... "

Rein_Carnation

Celendria watched Sheridan with a thoughtful eye, though his request seemed a bit strange. Walking over she leaned in toward the basket and nudged it as he did blowing warm air on the weaves so they would sink within and warm the foal.

The foal seemed tired but yet whickered as best she could to respond to Celendria and Sheridan. It shifted and squeaked then nudged the basket on its own.

Celendria felt a chill as she stood there, hearing Sheridan's words ice through her subconcious. Noastrils flaring she smelt the wind as it approahed. "Sheridan. Help me drag the basket back to the teepee. We need to get her back.. Now!"

Shariea

Snow white hooves pranced lightly upon the thawing ground as his deep eyes looked up at the Icy mare. She senced the coming wind, perhaps one of the last artic breezes to wash through. Never the less the urgency to get the basket inside the safty of the tree line and into a place where it could keep warm was growing steadily. The chocolate stalion lifted his handsome head and nodded to the icy goddess. "Certainly My Dear, Never fear... We'll keep you safe..." This last was adressed to the basket as he nudged it with a smile.

With a Braizen shake of his ebony tresses he latched onto one of the handles secured to the side of the basket, waiting for the icy mare to do the same on her end. Biting down with his strong teeth he began to race towards the safty of the tree line with tremendous speed, knowing full well the icy mare could keep up.

Rein_Carnation

The ice mare wasted not a stretch of time as she too grabbed the basket between her strong teeth. Racing beside him they carried the "shooting Star" back to the saftey of the winds that trailed them. Her mane whipped about as she moved hastily toward her desired destination. Like a demon the winds followed them, as if determined to swallow the precious cargo they hed safe between them.

Once inside the clearing congested with various foilage and thick plantlife, she paused, lowering her head to rest the basket on the stable ground below. Pine was plentiful here keeping all the visciousness of the incoming storm out of harm's way. Celendria blew outward, her breath solidifying against the cold air that hung within the trees. She immediately knelt her head toward the basket checking for upset or distress.

The basket lie still on the nettles that surrounded it. Safe and cozy the little one sighed and resumed her sleep. The ice mare shook her head in dismay, "She slept through all that"?

Shariea

Sheridan tilted his head and took a few prancing steps back from the basket. He snoted lightly as the gale began to make the branches sway around them. His long mane and tail blew about him like a veil of ebony. As the icy mare remarked on the status of their cargo ghe gave a laugh and once again approched the basket. "It's a strong willed little thing then. To sleep soundly through a ride such as that..." He gave a knowing look up into the brilliant teal eyes of the mare. "You'll have your hands full with this one I think... " He smiled, his nose flaring and puffing out bits of steam against the chill that rose from the north.

The mare tired from the stress of the storm, fell to her knees willingly to rest beside the white basket marked with the glittery shooting star. She breathed contently letting her eyes droop slowly. Her tail flicking gently still as she contorted to a tighter form. Though the cold was not her enemy, storms such as this one were quite intimidating in their respect of her. She looked up at Sheridan and smiled a tad meekly, "Yes she is quite a handful I wonder. She will be strong when she emerges from there."

Shariea

Sheridan nodded and watched the mare, seemed like all the strength had been sapped out of her. His nostrils flared against the light breeze that whispered through the trees, a clam wind compared to what he knew was raging on in the valley below. His velevet ears flicked back and forth, a distant sound seemed to be floating on the wind. The handsom stalion furrowed his brow and turned to the north, his head cocked to the side. "what is that... is that laughter?"


The pale purple flutter zooned through the air above the trees, her laugher was wild and happy as looped around and cicrled having spotted the valley she'd been looking for. Her teal tresses streamed behind her line a banner, yet each strand seemed to have a life of its own as the wind caught and toyed with it. Gracefully the tiny mare landed in the middle of the valley with an exuberant greeting. "Hellooooo Everyone!" Her manner was full of cheer as her eyes scanned over the Stalion. "Hello there Handsome."

With a Hop in her hoove steps she made her way around the clearing to where she could better see everyone. Giving a whinny of joy and excitement she glanced around. "Now... where has Shaylee gone too.." she asked more to herself than to any other.

Farland

Sademi shorted happily, her littel ivory hooves crunching agaisnt the snow as she galloped across the clearing twords celendria, who was like like a mother to her anyone, and probably the only adult she realy liked at all.

Well, there was that one stallion, stitched up like some twisted jig-saw puzzel. Though she had made a friend, and that made her happy in her own littel way. Her eyes narrowed as she passed by sheridan, giveing a vicious littel snap of her teath before continue over twords celendria, completly ignoreing the brilliantly colored flutter.

" Hello ' she said, her voice as quiet as always, but laced with a pang of happyness that only reveiled itself around the frost mare. She tilted her head to the side, her skull shineing brightly through flesh and blood, two red eyes floating in the black eye sockets.

" Were did you find the basket? " she asked as she setteled down next to her, snuggeling agaisnt her side, more for comfort then anything else.

Rein_Carnation

The frost mare was dozing before the distinct tiny hooves fluttered her lids back to reality. She knickered as the basket snorted and whinnied , but only a whisper above the howling gale outside. The little one was safe in her basket, but there was wonder to why she seemed so intensly unique above the others she met and taken into her heart. One in particular was the darkened basket she'd fostered revealing a tempermental soul within. Full of a wicked temperment she did, and in fact only respect the one whom raised her with whinnies and kind words.

"Hello Samedi. Hmm it seems this basket is like the falling star I followed. Strange as it seems the basket was the star. But no foal could fall from the heavens right?", she queried to herself more than anything. Looking up she noticed Sheridan, swiveling her ears as well she caught sound of the laughter. "How strange", she muttered to herself as she watched a flutter dash in from the howling storm outside. This though wasn't the strangematic Shaylee, more colors painted this little one with tresses that were the hue of water in the spring.

The Storm had picked up greatly as the purple minature flutter zipped back and forth through the debri flying in the wind. She zig zagged then did loop de loops giggling all the way. The snow though wasn't playing as it smacked her with all it could, violent cold white flakes stinging her eyes and nostrils. Still though she loved the adventure in all this, not to mention bad leaves in that lingering smell were all but gone. She knew her way to the clearing where the others were. "No sweat", she'd always say as she pranced off to flit herself into the air.

The clearing was right ahead, that was a welcoming sight indeed. She dived in her usual spot, straight through an sparse pine whose needles just scratched those right places as you manuvered in. She shook herself landing quite gracefully to catch a glimpse of everyone. Noting Flyer she beamed, "Heyas Flyer. Ah I see you met everyone", she beamed with a puff of her chest. Almost in a dancing waltz she headed toward the basket only to catch a glare from the demon foal. Pausing she shuddered then looked at Celendria, "And how is the little one?"

Shariea

The chocolate stalions ears fell back flat against his ears as the small filly snapped her teeth at him. He shorted and furrowed his brow. "Hey now!" He scolded, however his words feel upon deaf ears as the black filly with the laughing skull as a head. Once more he snoted and stomped his right hoof. The stalion turned away in a pointed manner and nodded to the little flutter. This one he could get along with, he lightly puffed out his chest and held his head high as she addressed him as Handsom. " Why hello there Little one.." He chuckled and Glanced over his shoulder as another flutter dove from the heavens. "greetings."

High flyer pranced about, glad to be out of the storm in a safe place where she could meet others. However the black filly halted her right in her steps. Had she just been ignored. The little one puffed out her cheaks her furrowed her brow. "Well hello to you too!" She yelled as the foal curled up with the icy mare. To make her point she hopped forward with every word she yelled, making quite the spectical of herself. With a huff she turned away, much like Sheridan's reaction.

The little flutters wings fanned her slender body. Her long hair seemed to be in perpetual motion as the light breeze that made its way through the trees lightly toyed and played with it. She looked up as Shaylee made her decent and beamed. "Hey! Was begining to think I lost you!" the hyper flutter practically bounced her way over to where shaylee had landed.

Rein_Carnation

The ice mare nuzzled Samedi for she needed nurturing as much as she could. A wicked temperment was trouble indeed for anyone whom crossed the filly's path. Her insincerity would be her undoing toward trusting others. Still though the dark washed foal with the smiling skull was like her own, there fore she'd treat her with as much nurturing as she could.

Much to Celendria's surprise the basket wiggled so much that she snorted to full awareness. This was the first time it had even attempted to release its contents. The mare's senses sprung to a full intensity as she eagerly watched the container that kept that special little one. It rocked back and forth, rythematically, a strange pace as the little one grew stronger.

The basket rolled on its side which in turn made the mare jump to her feet unbalanced. Immediately she rolled it back on the correct base it was ment to sit upon. Every fiber in the mare's body twitched, every nerve fluctuating with anticipation.

Then it happened.

The basket wiggled only once then popped open to reveil something of wonder. Lying before them was a snow white creature, whose mane and tail appeared dyed a deep violet with streaks of lightened blue. The most curious thing though was the gleaming pearly spiral that adorned her tiny forehead. As the mare followed the foal's structure she laid gaze upon the shooting star glittering like the one she'd followed.

Coincidence? The mare tried contemplating this special event her thoughts working continiously..

Shaylee tried her best to ignore Samedi whose aura gave her the creeps.
"Demon" she muttered under her breath with a roll of her eyes. Announcing freely though she winked back to Flyer. "Yeah I was dodging the snowwwwww. Tee hee fun I tell you." she giggled with a toss of her lavender locks as they fell like water. "Hello to you Sheridan" she whinied with a puff of her chest resembling a fluffy Marshmallow once more.

The commotion of the basket made her curiousity peak. Prancing over she looked at it with a keen eye, "Ohh time to come out huh? Wheeeeeee another foalie to tag around with.

The foal blinked with wonder as she gazed upon her new herd members.
Colors flooded into her mind like a painting of rich hues and pigments. On in particular she smelt right away. The voice print was unmistakable as she took in the sounds around her. Immediately she chirped looking at Celendria.

Shariea

Sheridan's ears flicked back and forth, and a smile crossed his face as the basket began to roll. "ahh, the little one had desided to come out I see." He motioned with his head for the two flutters to follow him as he quietly walked up upon the scene. The icy mare could hardly contain herself and sheridan as well watched intently. He hopped back a little, his front hooves prancing against the frozen ground. With a pop out tumbled the snow white unicorn and Sheridan had to blink his deep brown eyes to make sure he correctly saw the horn atop the dear one's head. "Oh my... you're a cutie." He said with a chuckle, his long mane flowing around him as the breeze trickled through the tree line.


High flyer's wings fluttered up and down as she watched intently, when the little magical filly popped out of the basket she gave a yip and back flipped into the air, exclaiming proudly "It's a Girl!" the graceful flutter zipped about with glee before gracefully touching her delicate hooves down upon the ground once more. It never occured to her that her sudden movments may scare the new born. She only smiled and pranced about in a fashion most flutters seemed to posess.


The chocolate stalion raised an eyebrow and with a half cocked smile glanced at the two flutters. "Tell me little one.. how did you come to meet our Shaylee anyway? Today seems to be a day for surprises of all sorts."

Flyer grined and turned her attention to the large stalion. "Hmmm, well.. I had just zoomed down the feilds and was midning my own buisness when..."

King creeps over and nibbles High Flyer's wings, they afterall did kind of look like some form of candy. O.O

Shariea

High: The small mare yelps and Tooks back at the stalion with a wide eyed look. " Im no food!" She childishly sticks her tongue out at the winged male.

Steal

King blinks and pulls back from the wing that he was trying to nibble on. "They look.. kind of yummy." He flicks his tail and sniffs at them again. "Sure they aren't food?"

Shariea

High flyer's pale ears swivle back and forth as she looks at him. Puffing herself up in an attempt to make herself look larger. "If they are attached to me, why would that be food, eh buster." She hops forward slightly and nudges at his wing. "are those food then? Feathers resemble blue cotton candy.."

Rein_Carnation

Shaylee: Zips overr to check out King, her little hooves shining as she trotted over to him. "Oh you got big wings. They look sugar coated and yummy." she said with a little giggle as her transparent flutter wings shimmered lights of amythest about the ground.

King blinked more and he nosed his own wing a bit. "I never thought of that..." He sampled one of his own feathers and blinked. "Nope, don't taste as sugary as yours are." He smiled and nosed the smaller Soquili lightly. "I never saw one like you before... I'm Kinguyakkii."

Shariea

The flutter humphed softled and raised her elegant head. Her blue tresses falling in front of her face and pooling on the ground around her tiny hooves. "Im High Flyer." She said, still a little miffed by her wing being sampled. Her eyed glanced up at the sky as yet another flutter skimmed through the sky. She beamed and Hopped around The much larger blue stalion to get a better veiw of the flutter. "Hi!" she whinnied loudly, pleased t have someone else like her around.

Shaylee: Really felt dumb because of the favored tree incident. Her little nostrils could not loose that horrible stench of molded compost. Scrunching her nose she snorted to try and relieve the icky smell that clung like superglue to her. She pranced about shaking her head, purple tresses flowing liker a fluid stream with her. Finally a sneeze emerged and cleared her of that haunting captor that clung so tightly.

She shook herself once more then fluttered her wings to rise above the ground. Fanning quite lyrical her wings made whooping noises. "Hmm yeah its cold up there now. Say do others think you are a scatterbrain? I get told that way too much." she nodded with direct mentioning of Catori in mind. But you have to see the basket Celendria found. Says it fell from the sky." she chirped and chittered quite happy to be around another of her kind.

High flyer streached with wings with a long yawn, giving herself one finaly shake before she lightly skimmed across the ground, tucing her hooves up under her as she lazily flew through the air. A thoughtful expression crossed her face. "I suppose I could be sometimes, but ive never been told so directly. " She nodded softly and giggled.

Her long teal tresses brushed the ground as she mae her way to where shaylee hovered. "Hmm, A Basket you say? Not very safe for one to be falling from such great heights!" She exclaimed quite taken back by the fact its parent had been so careless. "Probably best this.. Celendria has the basket now then."

Rein_Carnation

Shaylee: Scrunched her nose and looked at King. "Ignore me will you?" she snorted and fluttered her wings. Looking though to the side of him she noticed another flutter. "Helloooooooooo there. I'm Shaylee." She looked back to King and snorted again thinking Azure was way much cooloer than him.

King blinked and backed up. He looked up at the other small winged thing and swallowed. "Oh.. I guess I never noticed before."

Shariea

The little flutter beamed and took flight, lazily skiming over the ground. "Nice to meet you, Im High flyer." she said with a giggle. The little one seemed to be in better spirits now and she slowly circled king. "So... Now that we have established wings are not for eating... Its a pleasure to meet you."

King bowed his head gracefully, watching the little one flying around. He smiled and nodded a bit. "I will not try and eat your wings again. I understand that they are not food." He looked down at the ground and sighed a bit. The snow was melting and soon it would be uncomfortable for him. He needed to find a nice cool cave to live in. Heat was not his friend.

Shaylee: beamed as she watched the other similar colored female greet her in welcome. At last another who understood how and why a flutter acted the way she did. Turning though she looked at King, "No proplem. Us short ones get ignored most of the time.... but I'm bigger than I look." she announced and began puffing out her chest.

Shariea

High flyer couldnt help but giggled and she mimiced Shaylee's action, Her little wings buzzing as she puffed out her slender chest. "Indeedy!" She said and tilted her head down at king. "Oh?" she frowned suddenly swooping down so that her nose barely touched his she eyed him carefully. "...Something changed your mood suddenly.." She tilted her head and reguarded him through her thick mane of shimmering blue. "You got Sad... No time to be sad! Be Happy!" She said this more in way of a command than a request.

King looked down at the ground and shook his head. "I am sorry, it is that the snow is melting, when it does I will have to hide and wont be able to make more friends. The heat isn't good for me." He looked at the two energetic butterfly winged females. "Maybe.. you will visit me when I find my hideing place though...?"

Rein_Carnation

Shaylee: Still puffed out like a marshmallow looked at King, "Hey Celendria likes the cold. She misses the snow she does." she strutted around flitting her large wings then looking to Flyer, "Happy is a good thing. Yes lets all be happy!" she chirped as she contininued to strut about, her tail flicking back and forth.

Shariea

High gggled at Shaylee and nodded to her, but her eyes looked back at King with a hint of sadness. "yes, Soon the snow will be long gone.. But then the flowers will return and there will be much joy!" She smiled as she hoved in front of the blue male. "Sure, I'll come visit you. everyone needs friends. " The purple flutter beamed and suddenly shot around to the far side to Shaylee and nudged her left flank. "Tag!" She yelled and with a giggled Spead off around to the other side of the large male. "hide me!"

Shaylee: Paused and nodded enthustiastically at King, "Sure we will. Yep. We'll visit you. Need to meet the ice mare too." she chirped and fluttered once more. Feeling herself tagged she squeeed happliy and charged off after Flyer. "Hey now. Better runcause I'm going to find youuuuuuu!"

High flyer squeeked as king ran off to find his home, her shelter now gone the little flutter waisted no time flitting off to find somewhere new to hide. Her colorful wings carried her swiftly thrugh the air as she zipped two and fro looking for a likely spot. Finally she crammed herself into a large nook of a long dead tree.

Rein_Carnation

Shaylee: Zipped like a crazed dragonfly hunting for Flyer. "Hmm if I were a flyer where would I be.... lets see here..." she murmered stiking her head in a hole in a neighboring tree. "Hellooooooo innnnnnnn thereeee." she thought a bit and tried to pull her head back out, only realizing she was a tad stuck. A fickle thought covered her mind. And the answer was "uh oh.

After a few moments flyer peered out of her large hallow. Quietly she crept out with out a problem and she delicately stepped up behind Shaylee. Her bright eyes watched her struggle for a quiet moment before she anounced her presance with a laugh. "Need help?" The flutter giggled. "You look rather stuck there." Flyer pranced over near the hallow where Shaylee found herself crammed. "Hmm.." She tilted her head this way and that examining the situation. " ah ha.. this should do it... i hope." And with those words of encoragement she pressed her head into Shaylee's left flank and pressed with all her might.

Shaylee: Looked quite perturbed as she stay stuck in her little dungeon. She tried with all her might to get loose, but somehow seemed forver bonded to the old oak she was stuck within. Scrunching her nose she tried once again and snoerted her dislike of the tree.

When her ears perked she caught the sound of Flyer and felt embarrassment cling in her violet cheeks. The little captive pondered of how all could be seen was her rump and her wings. Though she was grateful for the assitance the other was giving. The tree smelled like moldy leaves inside.

Feeling the push she moved with it popping her head out like a a wine cork releasing. So much so she made a "pop" noise as she fell backwards in an unsteady motion. Shaking her limber form she giggled and whinnied joyously at Flyer. "Thank you. Thank you. Blech that tree does not smell nice." she mumbled shaking herself of any dirt that might of lied on her neck from being stuck.

Shaylee had gotten herself stuck quite nicely, So much so that when the force was finally gone and out came little Shaylee with a pop down fell high flyer into a heap on the ground. She shook her long tresses and whinnied gratefully at Shaylee. "You're out! Most welcome." She shook her hair and and tried to stand, her wings fanning away the leaves that had clung to her body during the fall.

With a laugh she tilted her head and looked over at Shaylee. "Do you often stick your head into tree hallows?" A smirk crossed her face, as much as a horse can. She lifted her small head and glanced around. Distantly she thought she could hear others talking. Good thing they hadnt noticed Shaylee's little innsident.

Shaylee: Looked dumbfounded thinking how immature that must have been. Her stuck in a tree with nothing but rotten leaves wafting into your nostrils. The thought of it almost brought her to tears, but instead she just giggled. Her happiness made her who she was, though quite naive at times, things did occur.

She shook herself one last time, "Nah. I like dodging leaves and snow flakes. Stupid thought on my part really. Thought you'd might be in a tree." she nodded her cheeks flushing a bit. "Why would you be in a tree?" she pondered flickering her large purply wings. "Hmm you're new here yes? Welcome then. I live in the forest near the montains."

High flyer grunted a bit but other than that never let on that she had been in a tree... never mind the fact that it was the one just to the right of the one Shaylee had gotten stuck in. "Yeah, Silly. " She giggled and glanced to the side clearing her throat. "Yeah, Im new. Is it that obvious?" She said with a giggle, her front hooves lightly prancing against the damp leaves and soggy ground.

The snow was fast departing and the wing was hearadling the coming spring. Yet Flyer couldnt help scencing there would be a storm or two yet to come as the winter fought to keep its hold on the valley. She shook this passing thought from her head and grinned at Shaylee. "I should like to come and visit you sometime in the mountains I think. "

Shaylee: Pulled herself into the air flittering her wings quite gracefully. She nodded listening to Flyer thinking of the white foal carrier. "Celendria raised Samedi too.." she paused and shivered thinking about that wicked heel biter. Samedi was going to eat her one day. One big gulp and Shaylee would be a sugar coated snack.

"Brr Samedi.. evil incarnate that one. Ebil look in her eyes that one has. She will eat me in my sleep some day." she shivered almost losing her glide as she zipped back and forth. "Still though i'm glad to have you to talk with as it gets boring some days. Sensless mare chatter and Everly is right there with them too. Some friend he is." she pouted then did a loop de loop with a long happy "Wheeeeeeeeeeee".

The ice mare had once before been through this event with the darkened basket. Another filly decided to join the ranks. This made her content in knowledge and aspiring love with the mere contemplation. Her eyes shone happiness as the youth whinied and sqeauked at her presence.

"Welcome little one. I shall name you Glory after the star that fell to the earth below. You will be fast, and now special as well, " she mentioned towards the horn on the filly's head.

The storm was lessening which meant little Glory would be able to explore the Soquili lands. Soon Celendria would have both Samedi and Glory to run alongside her with much freedom. Though those phantom hoofbeats rang like a song, a melody of longing to see Euphoria once more.

Shaylee on the otherhand was so giddy from the event. She nearly flitted around like a derranged dragonfly her wings manevering like a huge winged bug. So pretty and thin they shimmered transparant throwing a gloss of purple hue over everone. Upon hearing Flyer's tale she blushed in rememberence of getting stuck in the tree base. The lingering scent of rotten leaves made her gag a little creating a silly face. Tongue lolling out remembering that horrible smell.

Glory squeaked looking at them all now. Her colors filling in brighter visualizing and defining who they really were. The flutters whom were a tad higher than her were facinating. Those vibrant wings were mesmerizing to the young unicorn. Squeaking once more she mumbled speech incoherently but somewhat decipherable.

As the days wore on the ice mare and her little shooting star bonded beautifully. The foal was inclined to gaze at the flutters and mesmerize over their long gorgeous wings. Samedi seemed to tolerate the unicorn's curiousity but how far was everyone's query of the time. When Glory was able Celendria took her out into the world. Possibly to meet another foal of her age...



Glory Meets Tori and Dyami Wed Feb 22, 2006

Rein_Carnation

Celendria moved freely, ice blue shining upon the scattered white over the ground. The scenery was a blur as she threw her head outward racing the little unicorn who was determined not to be left behind. She pounded the ground as her hooves thundared in unison with her stride. Upon seeing a nice sised stream she slowed her pace to a canter, then into a walk. If felt good to simply let loose and be free, not to mention her little companion was enjoying it as much as she.

Glory whinnied at the top of her lungs, enjoying her romp for the first time out of the forest. She veered sharply and slowed the same as the crystaline mare had. Seeing the water she boldly approached it, silky purple tail swinging back and forth quite happily. Looking directly in the water her reflection peered back. Unlike Celendria she had a strange thing coming off her forehead. What was it she wondered?

Dyami had only been walking with Tori for a little bit when he saw Celendria, whom he meet only once and a little light purple filly. he nickered a greeting to them both.

Tori was delighted to see another filly. she pranced about by her dad, waiting to beable ot go and talk to the other filly.

Celendria watched Glory with a dazzling smile as it painted her pretty blue face. That basket, the falling star, was something special after all. For no one would of dreamed a unicorn would be among them. Not even the hyperactive Shaylee that was more so like a child herself. Perking her ears she noted that Dyami along with a foal of his own had happened to cross their path. A short welcomed whicker escaped her own muzzle, in return to his own.

Glory looked perplexed in the reflection as it shined back at her. Nodding her head she touched the cool liquid with her muzzle. Playfully she splashed it about with squees of delight. When she felt she had enough, her head rose to see Tori coming toward her. A feeling of effervescence washed about the milky white filly, her blue orbs beaming.

Dyami smiled and let his daughter go up to the other little filly who seemed to be a unicorn. he then turned his attention back to celendria." ello Celendria, it has been a long while."

Tori went over to the other filly who seemed to have a odd horn on her head. she smiled at the other filly." ello im Tori and whoo are you?" tori had always been one to be forward in a greeting.

The ice mare smiled at the two children her eyes drifting back to lie upon Dyami. She once again in her quiet nature smiled, "Yes it has. How have you been Dyami? Are Settia and the children well?" she queried with keen interest on how the family was faring. She always loved learing how the others which she had taken into her heart were.

Glory blinked at Tori and giggled. "Ello Tori I'm Glory..." she chirped with a little dance in her steps. She looked to Tori's forehead then thought of the spiral no others had she knew. "Say umm what is this?" she knelt her head downward to show Tori. "Nobody has one. Why?" she questioned with a silly look.

Dyami grinned." Settia and the other two kids of ours are doing fine." he montioned with his head towards Tori." im watchign our daughter Tori here, while settia looks after our son's" he was happy to mee up with a old friend.

Tori giggled a little." i donno, but maybe one of the adluts would." she looked at the sprial again. " it looks neat though." she did a little prance and wondere what the sprial was.

The ice mare blew out softly in regards to his family thriving in happiness and contentment. "Well that is good to hear. Hmm Euphoria seems to have taken a long trip. Turning toward the adults she announced quite clearly, "What is this neat thing?" she said pointing her head outward toward them

Dyami chuckled." i see." he then remebered the berief meeting with Samedi." ohhh i remeber that one, she and Tori meet the other day or so." thinkign back, that Samedi was a little wicked one. he then turned to Glory who asked about her spirl thing." well i think Celendria could answer that one."

Tori giggled again." yeah most like, and i never meet a flutter!!!!!!!" she then wondered what a flutter was and what the spril thign was again.

Celendria blinked at being nominated for such an explanation. Yes she was a unicorn but trying to be firm in saying what one was was a little tricky. "Hmm yes well Glory dear you are a unicorn. That thing on your head is a horn or spiral. Its what makes you different from the others." she pondered and then returned glance to Dyami as if to say...did I cover that so she could comprehend it.


Glory looked at Celendria and smiled widely, though truth be told she had no idea what the mare had said. Nodding though she acted like she did understand though her eyes and expression spoke differently. Gazing up at Tori she wondered what the foals did for fun around these parts.

Dyami nodded to Celendria, and knew glory would eventualy understand when she was older. he watched Glory and Tori talk and play, and was glad Tori was makign new friends. turnign back to Celendria, he chuckled." im sure Glory here will understand wha tyou said when she is older."

Tori grined at glory." wow your a unicorn, thats cool!" she pranced about and stood next to Dyami." how about we play alittle game?" tori woundered what Glory liked to do.

The ice mare nodded as the foals tried to think things through. Trying to understand what an adult knew as easy as this was a bit intimidating. But knowing that Glory was highly intelligent, it would soak in later down the line. "Yes you're right. She's young yet and is still learing things."

Glory pranced after Tori, her tail swishing back and forth. She envied the long tresses the ice mare carried. They were oh so pretty compared to the little growth of haior on her own neck. "Oh a game.. hmm what kind of game? Flying game?" she whinnied as she waited to play with Tori.

Dyami chuckled as he heared Glory say flying game. he turned back to Celendria." yes, and ofcourse there both pretty smart im sure." he watched both Glory adn Tori play.

Tori giggled." how would we play a flying game?" she truely did wonder since they did not have wings at all. she niped Glorys mane playfully." how about tag, unless you want to play this flyign game of yours."

Celendria blinked then held her breath. What had Flyer and Shaylee put into the little filly's head? She perked her ears listening for any signs that her little charge was heading for disaster. Of course disaster was good at seeking things out. Especially one that thought she could possibly fly. "Smart enough yes... crazy is a definite." she murmered entranced by Glory's intensity of her "flying game".

Glory dug her little hooves in the ground and thought a bit. "Hmm lets do both. Whee flying tag yes!" she kicked her heels and waitied for the go. She would flit to the skies just like Shaylee. This would be tons of fun.

Dyami start laughing as the two tryed to 'fly'." yeah it seems to be going to that way but let us let them learn soemthing." he watch the two chuckled and wondered if leting them do this was a smart thing.

Tori grined." OK!!!!!!!!." she dug in her hooves and did not know how in the world they would fly." read set GO!!!!!" she purposly waited to see what Glory did so she would know how to'fly'.

The ice mare watched intently, a hawk upon its prey, her lip quivering within her muzzle. Electric vibes of worriment filled her deeply as water does a large basin. Any sign of trouble, the mare would jump to action. No broken limbs for her newest care package. "Dyami just be on guard. I believe things will get a tad out of hand with some little bruises."


Glory leapt outweard like a young doe, graceful with ease. Her limber legs so thin yet powerful to lift her. The thought occured that she was missing those flying things like Shaylee and Flyer but yet she wanted to try. Faster she ran till the wind felt like a cradle around her. Jumping in the air she let the wind carry her like a glove...

Till the ground met back up with her.

Crashing into a rolling ball the filly somersaulted at least three times till she haulted to a complete stop. Brusised was her little determination when she realized her first attempt was painful. Sitting there she frowned as a shiver of pain slid up her legs to her spine. "Ow."

Dyami nooded at Celendria and watched the two. he watched as glory jumped and went through the air, only to come crashing down. he shook his and went right over to her to check if she was alright." you alright there Glory?"

Tori was shock and amazed at the same time. she ran over to glory." are you ok?!" hoping her new friend was not hurt, she stood there and let her dad take a look.

Celendria took off after Dyami her chest heaving from fear the foal was severely injured, "Glory. Are you alright?' she snorted her eyes wide with fear. The ice mare leaned in nibbling gently of the foal for any severe bruises or cuts even. "Little one you are special but not that able. Please don't do that again." Celendria's own form was shaking abit though her worry was more paternal and a little overrated from how she normally took things in stride.

Glory on the otherhand felt a tad embarrased her first attempt had failed. She looked at the adults and Tori with starry orbs. "Yeah I'm okay. I thought I could fly that time. Guess not." she said with a tiny smile leading to a giggle, "That was fun"!

She stood up shaking off the snow and dirt sticking to her. From head to toe she tried to get all the icky stuff off her coat. Nothing was broken nor cut, just a little attempt gone wayward. She looked up to Celendria, a nuzzle of compassin in return. "Sorry. Won't do that again... till I'm stronger".

Dyami chuckled." its good your ok, but Glory you cant fly, so i would advise you not to do that again." he did not want another 'attept' of this flying for Glory's and Celendria's shake, which is why he had to tell Glory she could not fly. nuzzlign tori, he hoped she and glory would not do somethign like that again or Settia might kill him.

Tori nuzzled her dad back and looked at glory." how about we stick to just land games since we are not able to fly." he giggled a bit and was glad Glory was alright.

Celendria stepped back when the white powered filly had announced she was fine. A fleeting thought crossed her mind to chew out that darn flutter for adding such notions as these. Pertaining her thoughts toward the others with her now she remained tense but a little less wired. "Please little one. For the sake of all of us just don't try that again."

Glory knew she had worried the ice mare returning said emotion with a little pout and a brief nuzzle to Celendria's flank. Skipping along though she nipped Tori's mane. "You're it." she announced trotting off with a wink to the others. Her little two toned tail swishing with her happiness.

Dyami chuckled and let them play. he turned to Celendria." im sure they learned a lesson and wont try it again but we should keep an eye on the two." he then watched the to run around and play.

Tori grinned." i'll get you!!!!!" she bloted after Glory adn tryed to niped her mane back.

Celendria felt bonded to the little filly with the spiral as well as Samedi. Mayhaps some day she'd have her own flesh and blood to watch over, but for now this was contentment. Though Glory was a bit ambitious at times in doing things. "I do hope earthlings learn that wings are on a creature for a reason. Glory has a horn which indeed makes her special."

Glory kicked up her heels running like the wind. Though she wanted to try yet again, her promise to the adults would keep in place... for now. "Nah Nah.. can't catch meeeeeeeeee!" she called back in glee as she ran about with her happiness in tow.

Celendria drifted into that familiar sound... wing beats that haunted her every breath. Euphoria what are you thinking this night. His gleam from his eyes and glistening of his coat brought comfort to the ice mare. Frost that melted from adoration by simply uttering his very name; Euphoria. She felt a bit tired though they'd have to return eventually to the saftey of the wooded clearing.

Glory reversed her lap and chased full speed after Tori. "Ehee hee.. gonna get youuuuuu." she snorted with a squeal of delight having this much fun. Other than the demon child known as Samedi, Tori was officially her first real friend now.

Dyami let out a little sigh as he thought of his family he was not currently with, but as he watched Tori and glory play, it made him smile. he chuckled to himself as he thought of his two son's who her high strong and adveturous.

Tori giggled and bloted around the two adults." you'll never catch me!!!!!!" she continued to run around. thinking of the past events, Glory was now anouther good friend of her's and she hoped they could continue to play.

Time moved slowly after that point of meeting Tori and Dyami. Glory seemed to get better in her speech lessons, but her determination of flying was worrisome. Shaylee had departed babbling something about being with Azure. Sheridan had also disappeared contemplated to be seeing a mare of sorts. All that remained was Flyer, Celendria, Glory, and Samedi. Well Samedi tended to head out on her own now and then. A strange youth that could send a chill electrically up your spine.


Glory Goes Out Again Sat Feb 25, 2006

Rein_Carnation

The ice mare moved slowly as her eyes stay focused on the ambitious charge by her side. A little hyper this one seemed today after her introduction of little Tori. Celendria's own thoughts drifted to her mate, and even her own foals someday. She smiled softly and returned her gaze to Glory once more.

Ambitious. Yes that's what they called it. Ready to strike out in the unknown, to fly on wings of pure imagination. Surely they were there... you just have to know where to find him. She pranced, her head held high alongside the crystaline mare. So happy her little heart fluttered just being there.

Shariea

With a snort the chocolate Stalion shook his head, his eyes dropping from the stars. It seemed to him days where passing so fleatingly these days. His long ebony flicked behind him like a whip. With a turn of his proud head, his ears flicking in the direction of nearby hooves. Sheridan quickly trotted over to the brushline to investigate. In the disatnce he clearly saw the outline of the icy mare, and her compaion the little filly. He folded his ears back against his head and let out a merry whinny of greeting.

Farland

At her side trotted a youg foal, her body black as night, marred only by the creamy skull that glowed from beneath flesh and blood. She smiled, wicked and cold, surveying the bush spotted valley, her glowing red eyes, like embers floating on a sea of black, narrowing in a supriseingly wicked look.

Celendria whinnied back to the tall stallion. How bold he melted into the blacked canvas behind him. Only the white like the vision of the sun's first glance gleamed back at her. She stood there, a vision of her own, crystaline blue as ice itself. Her mane flowing like the endless waves of the oceanic tide. Not once though did her senses leave her little one standing tall and proud beside her. For to turn your back on the ocean was never a good action to follow.

Glory however noticed the black form adorned with the glowing skull. So much these two kept in contrast as light and dark. She snorted and whinnied quite loudly to get Samedi's attention.

Samedi stoped and glanced over at the littel unicorn! Oh! And Celly! she praticaly beamed... in a dark.. sorta.. way... She didnt seem to mind that her nick-name for Celendria sounded alot like Celery...She was her Celly Dammit. And this littel unicorn, however annoying, was like a littel sister to her. Even if she was an annoying one. She raised her head an whinnied, though it was gentel like a tree creaking in the wind, and sprinted over twords the white and pueple unicorn, her fluffy balck main poofed about her face in dissaray.

Shariea

The large stalion rushed from the underbrush towards the glowing beauty in the gentle waves of moon light. His hooves thundered upon the ground as he raced towards his friends. Pulling up along side them with his long ebony mane and tail flowing behind him like streams of silk. "Good evening Ladies." He said with a quiet chuckled, holding his handsom head high. "How are you doing this eve?" He cast and eye to the unerving little fully who snapped at him, he snorted lightly but politly nodded to her. His tail once again seemed to whip against the frozen ground. His attention turned to Glory, the magical filly who had stolen the heart of Celendria and had a certain soft spot in his own. Moving to stand beside the icy mare he watched the snow white unicorn with a tilt of his head. Fleatingly he thought of what it would be like to have his own foals. A smile crossed his face, a chuckle escaping him at that thought of his Lovely Ardia pregant.

The ice mare noticed Samedi arriving by the timid unicorn's call. By what to the infant sounded loud and bold was but a squeak of the trees as the wind slipped by. She chuckled as she tossed her head to both Sheridan and samedi who was coming closer to them. "Welcome both of you. Catori is here as well Samedi?" she queried with a soft swish of her long silky tail.

The snow white unicorn whinied again to her sister. Yes even darkness of a wicked nature was a relation to her. She knew not what good nor ebil was. In her crystal orbs Samedi was her sister. Their mother whom loved them, treated both souls with this nature. Therefore family was the true word in this vocabulary.

Farland

Samedi slowed to a halt right next to the littel unicorn, giveing her ear a n**, though a gentel one.... very unlike a n** she would give sheridan. She grinned, looking as different as day a night. White and violet, Black and red. She turned her head to her mother, and looked looked around, with her best attempt at inocence. " Mabey " she said, doing her best to look at her through lashes, ivory hooves scuffing at the ground in a mimicry of cuteness, though all it did was make her look all the more scemeing, sence Catori's tail could be seen from just behind aan early blooming bush.

Shariea

The stalion blinked a bit and tilted his head, half expecting little Glory to scream at the bite the dark filly gave her. Yet it seemed the 'demon' as Shaylee liked to call her was being gentle with the unicorn. He smiled, very pleased by that, perhaps there was more affection and love locked away under that laughing skull and dark hide than met the eye.

Sheridan's white hooves pranced lightly against the ground as he looked over at Celendria. "Well now, seems like we're having quite the gathering here tonight, what has brought you all down from the mountains?" It seemed only the flutters where missing from the group this eve, and with their hyperness and good natured love of play...there was no telling where those two might be.

As ice touched upon obsidian black around her, shimmering like a diamond in the sky, she stood still and serene. Her mane flowing softly behind like a cascading waterfall. While in the company of them all she was released back in time. The rythem of the wings upon the wind. Shimmering gold reflected in her waterlike orbs.

He was calling her.

A simple smile. A graceful turn of his head. Her ver name rested upon his thoughts and deep voice. "Celendria" it said so affectionately. As if playing with her thoughts her head raised to the heavens for a glimpse. A sign he was there in waiting. A cry of lonliness escaped her own throat, one of longing and sadness.

Glory seemed not to worried by the n** for her own eyes fell upon her mother. Strange it seemed she had just drifted like she did. A tilt of her head, wondering why Celendria had acted the way she just had.

It seemed in that time of longing the blue mare had faded from the entire picture. Gone away to the mountains to be with her phantom lover that entined her feelings, heart, and soul within his.

Celendria had been gone while which made Glory all the more curious as to why. The others seemed to not tell her except Shaylee whom had giggled the whole way back to the clearing. Her whole face glowing with romantic sappy overload. She explained vaguely why Celendria had gone off to see Euphoria. So Glory in her comprehension took her mom to like another very much. In this time she decided to venture out once more hoping to run into Tori...

The snow white unicorn ventured out on her own. No supervision of course. She was puzzled her mother had acted the way she did, simply taking off into the great unknown. Her heart ached for something the young foal did not understand. Tossing her head she looked at a hill and contemplated flying once more. "Ah huh... yep... hmm."

Tori seemed to venture out on her own alot and tended to get her dad worried. she chuckled as she came to the edge of a hill and giggled as she saw Glory at the bottem. bolting down, she whinnied at Glory.

Strung with ambition. Foreseen in her wildest dreams the little filly was determined to fly like the flutters in the forest. That's why she was special, well Celendria said she was. With a snort she prepared herself, wind as her companion taking to the skies and...
"Hmm?" she blinked her orbs of blue catching a glimpse of Tori. For a moment she paused then whinied happy welcomes to her friend. "Toriiiiiii!"

Tori skidded to a stop next to Glory and grined." ello Glory how ya been?" she was happy to see her friend once again and niped her mane playfully.

Glory beamed prancing about looking wide-eyed, "Hmm where your dad?" she asked with a cute expression. Then nipping back playfully she pranced about like the flirtatious Sheridan, then winked like Shaylee with a giggle. It seemed her makeshift herd was quite the imprint on the star kissed unicorn.

Tori giggled." my dad not around cause sometimes i go off on my own." she pranced about with Glory." where's the adult i saw you with last time?"

The unicorn thought a little and looked to the mountains. "She went dat away. Don't know why. Miss her." she frowned watching the mountains again. "Find anything fun?' she queried this time snorting with a flair to play. Prancing about she held her head high looking proud. But her youth spoke for her otherwise.

Glory paused for she was caught offguard. Snorting she dug those pearly purple hooves in the soft ground, flicking her tail she tore off after Tori. "I'm gonna geeeet jooooo!" she called allowed with a fire that burned in her blue eyes. Running as fast as her legs could carry her she picked up speed. Trailing within her mind the filly was so happy to play and do what she wanted. Happiness radiated from her milkywhite coat.

Tori was happy to finaly have some fun. " Na Na Na Na Na Na you cant catch me!!!!!" she yelled as she bloted towards the stream that was close by. picking up more speed, tori loved to run and have fun.

"Na ah... I'm going to get you." she snorted yet again feeling that wind lift her a little. Imagining herself as an adult her little hooves thundered the ground, her short mane flowing like a purple river. Long graceful legs carrying her closer to Tori. Yes it was fun to dream, visions of being that special someone you'd always wanted to be. And then you spread your wings, let the sun beat down with warmth, take to the skies. Closer she gained more speed. Soon very soon.

Tori snorted and tryed to go as fast as her legs would go. she did not like to lose much and was deturmand to beat Glory to the stream that was ahead." you wont catch me!!!!" she yelled and still pushed her legs faster.

Glory charged like a little shooting star toward Tori. "Will too!" she whinnied quite amused she was getting closer. "Just a little more to go." she thought to herself racing like the wind. She wasn't going to stop till she had won the game. Wind now brushed her sides and seemed to speak to her. Tori was right ahead with hardly any room for error. "Got ya." she giggled as she began running past Tori. "Na na."

Tori grined and let Glory get a little head when she started to pass." i'll get you soon enough!" she stayed back tell they where close to the river. she was happy to be ut and running and feeling the wind brushing past. with a burst of energy Tori bolted past Glorya dn went sliding into the stream.

Glory nodded her head and charged with all she could. This was it she thought she heard the wind say. Its all yours. Take it."
Not realizing Tori had made it there first she leapt to the skies thinking positively she could do this. Of course what goes up must come down.

Tori sat there and giggled." i guess we both got wet." she got up and then pranced on out of the water and shook it off." well that was great fun!"

Glory looked like a wet ragdoll sitting in the stream. She sneezed a tad then stood up shaking like a wild canine. A burst of giddiness delve though her insides. "Yeah we did get all wet. Oops." she giggled once more staggering offbalanced to the streambed where the water was lower.

Tori was still wet but more damp than anything. she chuckled and helped Glory up after she fell again." so what shall we do now?" she got out of the water and thoguht about what they could do.

Glory giggled in spite of herself. So much fun to have in all this time. "Hmm... seek and go hide?" she said with curiousity to her game. Shaylee had said of this playtime with her and Flyer so it had to be something fun to do. "You hide and I find joo...Hrm.. or is it the other way around." she said with a tilt of her head.

Tori chuckled." ok, how about i hide and ou find me!" she then pranced about." make sure not to peek while i go hide!." then prancing off, she wondred where to hide.

Glory turned her back and thought how Shaylee had explained it. "First you count...count? How high? Umm.." she pawed the ground thinking. "One, three, five, seven, umm ten. Okies here I come." she said with a prance to her steps. Darkness was sitting in so it would be a little harder to find her. 'Not gonna loose. Nope." she snorted trotting off looking for Tori.

Tori quickly had hide behind a tree. it was geting a bit dark and she hoped Glory could find her adn that they would not get lost while playing the game. thinking about that made her wish her dad was really there.

Glory walking in dusk's decent felt a tad chilly looking for Tori. The sun was dipping behind the mountains creating an orangish glow on the canvas around and under her. Her little horn glowed as if the sun were harnessed in to provide some light. "Come out come out where you are." she chirped in prancing steps looking for Tori. Impending darkness made her think of the warm flank that Celendria had to lean against. She frowned missing her "mom" terribly.

Tori shivered a bit as it got darker and colder. she started to miss being near her dad since was warm and was about to protect her. suddenly she heared glory and gave a little giggle.

The ambitious youth watched the sun dip down more behind the mountains. A tiny gulp escaped her throat. Rustling of the weeds. The call of a wild dog in the distance. Thoughts burrowing like field mice, "Maybe this is why the adults don't let us out at night." she thought to herself.
"Tori... I know you're hiding around here. I find joo." Skittish she moved a little more rapidly toward her friend. Winds howling just behind her.

Tori stoped giggling once she heared the howl of the wild dog. she sudden cringed in fear and ran towards where she had heared Glory adn hopped her dad whould show up.

Dyami had been looking for Tori when he had notcied her gone. when he heared the call of a wild dog, he was scared she might be attack. a little paniced he ran faster to try to find Tori.

Glory felt really scared now and wished the calm blue mare was with her. "Celly... even Samedi called her that." she gulped and moved ungaited through the tall grasses now reaching toward the velvety sky.The dog had scared the little one now reducing her to a frightened foal.Her coat still wet from the stream made her cold.

Wind swept along the ground came a fast moving blur figure whom headed towards Glory. The little one could be seen in the distance as white as she was. Swift legs with a trailing silken white mane made the ice mare look like a ghost as she reflected the new moonlight bathing the ground.

Tori saw Gorly adn ran up to her and nibbled on her mane scared." ummmm how about we go somewhere safe." she was more than scared and wanted to go back to the safety of her dad.

Dyami snorted and ran towards the stream and yelled." TORi WHERE ARE YOU!" he hoped he would find her in tiem before somethign happned to her.

Glory blinked and giggled, "No I find you silly... erm is it okay to say I scared now." she whimpred and pushed up against Tori. The sounds off hoofbeats, two sets made the ground shake under her own hooves. "Someones coming." she said with a breath she held tightly. The call of the beast came once more. Glory cringed lowering her head.

Celendria content that he was once again not as phantom powered toward Glory. Nostrils flaring she veered to the right keeping pace. Catching the other call she recognized Dyami. "Here. Over here." she whinnied as loud as she could getting closer to the young foals.

Tori pushed up against Glory back." ummm i think or little fun has ended." she heared the call of the wilded dog and tthen heared the sound of her dad. she was more the happy to know her dad was coming."lets go to my dad." then she heared another who sounded familer.

Dyami snorted and heared Celendria and bolted right to where she was and yelled." alright im coming." he then wondered why she whould be out this time of nite but atlest she knew where to go.

Glory nodded but heard the sound of one she knew. "Celly!!!" she called out in tears of joy. Her little heart beating out of her chest like a drum. Rearing up she practically topped over. "Yey you found us!" she cheered with a kick of her little heels.

Celendria reached them first. Her eyes wide with fear the dog was about.
Immediately she ran to Glory checking her for any form of attack or wounds. "Glory.. My little Glory. Whay are you out in the plains after nightfall?" she leaned her head in to nuzzle the milkywhite coat. Her ears caught the sound of Tori's father swift and strong. "Tori you'll be fine. He's almost here."

Tori came up to celendria and hide behind her in fear of the dog." ok." she usualy did not scare easy but the sound of the wild dog got to her.

Dyami finaly made it there.and noticed both Tori and Glory had been about." are they alright?" he ten came and nuzzled Tori and made sure she was alright.

Glory nudged Celendria, her little legs shaking from being so cold. "We go where its warm?' the filly asked with a frown. "I fell in the creek and got wet. Brr" she said with another nudge.

Celendria blew her warm breath outward on the shivering foal. "Yes they are fine. Why they would be out this late I do not know. I was on a journey and had returned. Best be these little ones need warmth and a good sleep." she said with a sigh. Nudging Glory back she began to walk away, turning slowly to face the spirited stallion. "We shall talk once more Dyami. For now we must depart." She then flicked her tail galloping off toward the forest, watching that Glory kept pace with her.

As the winter winds shifted and turned colder, the ice mare walked slowly across the plains. Her silken silvery mane and tail blowing around as the wind uplifted it. It sang to her a sweet sad lullaby though it seemed quite happy none the less. Always moving as it swirled around the frost mare.

She pondered many things this day. Things that had come and gone many bursts at a time. Spring was right around the corner bringing many worries into her wonderings. What was waiting for her as the cold winds traveled further North. Lowering her muzzle to the ground she noticed a solitary flower. Tilting her head she examined it wondering why she hadn't seen it before. Flicking her ears she listened as if something were coming.

Euphoria whinnied with pleasure as he soared through the skies. He loved to fly. He loved the feeling of the wind in his face, even if it was rather cold today. To him there was nothing better or more refreshing. He watched the ground race by underneath him, amused at how small everything looked. After a while he grew tired and decided perhaps he would take his usual afternoon nap, underneath his favorite great oak tree by the lake. He drempt lately of Spring and the Summer to come and the lazy days he spent as a foal frolicking in the fields. He longed to taste the sweet grass, and to watch the sun as it rose and set each day, in awe at the beauty it brought forth. He loved the dusk hours, and the sounds of the crickets at night, while the stars twinkled and the moon bathed its light upon him and how it danced on the lake. And even though he dreamed of these things yet to come, he could noy deny his love of the winter and the beauty of the snowy surroundings, everything captured in a frozen world as it was. He landed softly by the lake, stretching his wings and turning slightly to view his surroundings. He wondered if anyone was around. He hadn't seen too many other soquili as of late since the first snows had fallen.

Celendria: inhaled the cool crisp air and smiled as she watched the flower.
Time was stretching towards the warmth as she shifted her weight to balance herself. The sound of trickiling water caused her to perk her ears.
Swiveling toward the lake she stepped lighty whickering to herself.

Lowering her head to the moving water she drank heavily. The cool liquid parching her thirst. This was one thing she did like about the coming season~ Fresh cool water to quench one's thirst. She mused at it and playfully nosed around in the cool water. "Atleast its not ice." she said to herself when she thought of Shaylee and her ice folies. Suddenly her legs ached with the thought of being unbalanced.

As a wisp of wind caught her senses she caught a glance of a new face.
He was remarkily hansome in her soft teal orbs. Almost reminded her of Hania but with a silvery mane instead. And... she gasped in surprise noticing the feathery wings folded on his back. Another facination of hers, well that and the wonder of baskets.

Lifting her head she called out to him in greeting. The only winged she had met was Orchu and he was but a youngling. But this was a full grown Soquili. She smiled happily that she could make a new acquaintice once again.

Euphoria's ear twitched as he thought he heard the sound of a whicker. He turned to face the lake, the direction the sound had come from, and was pleased to receive a greeting. He stopped a moment and blinked, taking in the sight before him. She was unlike any other he had ever seen. He knew Rikka, another winged soquili whom he had seen as a foal but never spoke to, had a snowy appearance about her. However, she did not even compare to this icy beauty. she captured the very essence of the frozen world around him that always fascinated him so. He admired her long, silky looking mane and tail, along with her ice colored coat. Even her eyes captured the likeness of ice-like orbs.

After a few moments he realized he had not replied or even introduced himself. He was taken with her, left breathless of what to say. He moved forward at a trot and smiled at her. "Forgive my lack of words, you caught me at a surprise for I had not expected to encounter such a breath-taking sight. My name is Euphoria and I am pleased to meet you" He bowed slightly in respect but also on greeting to her. However he found himself thirsty and with his part of the formalities completed he took a quick drink of the cold but moving water. Water dripped from his muzzle as waited for her to speak

Celendria: in reality was quite taken with this particular stallion. He praised her which made thoughts become effervescent and full of happiness. Hania had done this, which felt strange and made her blush contemplating it. But, she realized this was truthful and thus was willing to acceptt it this time around. Still she blushed feeling quite special listening to him.

"Greetings Euphoria." she breathed out in a content whicker. "My name is Celendria. I hail from the northern mountain." she nodded thoughtfully.
Her mane blew about lightly, as did her tail like silken spiderwebs, flowing freely. She smiled at him quite beautifully as her eyes sparkled. It was indeed nice that another was taking time to communicate with her.

Looking to the lake she spied even more of those spring flowers so small yet shimmering as they reached to the blue sky mirroring Celendria's coat high above. "what brings you here Euphoria?" she whickered with a query hoping he would talk to her more.

Euphoria smiled. "even her voice had a soft, icy tone that was music to his ears. He truly was taken by her appearance before him and now sound. He gave her every bit of attention he could, listening and hanging off her every word. Soon he was mesmerized by her flowing mane....the beauty of it all...was beyond what he thought he would ever see in his lifetime. If he died now, he would die happy. " I am pleased to meet you Celendria,. It has been some time since I have seen another of our kind. I've been out here alone....well since I was a foal really" He had a soft expression as he smiled. His eyes shining like black gems with genuine interest. He followed her gaze, and spied what she was looking at. "I live in this area. It may be wild, but it is beautiful and it is my home". He contemplated getting her a flower for her mane.... "And what brings a lovely creature as yourself here?"

The ice mare's heart did but flutter at every syllable that strung from his words. A simple melody. An enchanting song that made him even more like an ocean washed drem. She smiled, eyes shimmering as the sun flickered playfully creating an almost soft appearence to them. Soft as satin yet brilliant as a gemstone polised to perfection.

"A simple wandering takes me to places I've never dreamed of. Such beauty surrounds this land our kind walks upon." she murmered as the wind lighty blew her mane like a whisper.

Indeed the grasses of spring were arriving, such green folilage that covered the hills and ground. She almost felt at home here without the winter overtone blended in. "Your home is very beautiful Euphoria."
His name bore into her subconcious as much as the first wing beats she'd met. "I like it here very much." She wondered now what the stallion of sand was thinking about. Tossing her head she let her mane flow like white water again, feeling quite happy in his presence.

Smiling. Her sleep drifted her off as her stomach protruded outward with her special secret nestled inside. Soon she would release their tiny souls unto the world blowing softly on the baskets they would be placed within. Finally she would feel what it was like to nurture her own young with gentle whinnies and soothing sounds. As would Glory and Samedi come to know the ones they would call *siblings*

The ice mare inhaled the strong wift of the cold air, moving along in a rapid manner announcing a coming storm soon. She shifted her weight carefully for her belly carried more than usual. Whickering she looked down in the valley thinking softly, her thoughts fluffy and warm as the clouds on a warmer day. Leaning down she grazed a bit, tender spring grass satisfying her appetite.

King grazed in the valley, the day was warm, the smell of spring was in the air. He ;ifted his head and took in the cool but warm air and let it out in one big sigh. He then tipped his head again to graze the nice dew covered grass.

The ice mare blew outward her senses intaking various scents around her. Strange it was that this new condition made her more alert to everything. As if a new feeling washed completely over she smiled in spite of herself. Though not her uusual pattern she walked rather slowly yet proudly thinking of the one whom would share this secret with her.

Celendria walked slowly. Her belly seemed to sway as the wind itself. Rocking like a craddle under a mother's watchful eye. She whickered softly once more in response to his. Though not fully able as she could before she tried her best. Once she had arrived she nodded her head toward him. Mane and tail flowed freely like a white water stream. Shining blue set upon the sinking hues of the horizon above. "Hello there." she said with a smile.

"Why hello" King replied to mare. He then noticed her big belly and smiled.
" Congradulations, your a new mother i can tell" He again smiled and looked about.
" My names king" He then said as he stood proud looking.

She admired the proud stallion her eyes glowing teal orbs. She spoke softly as the weight bore her belly down. Painful no uncomfortable yes. But all in due time the reason would be clear to what she carried dear to her heart. "I am the frost mare Celendria. Greetings King."

She tossed her head as she stretched her legs. A smile never leaving her pretty face, "Yes. Soon spring will come and the little ones shall run free. Finally I will be able to say I've seen it of my own."

King admired the mare, beautiful she was indeed but she had a deep caring ness to her. HE smiled in contest with hers and said " Its was nice to meet you Celendira, and i hope we meet again. I hate to cut tis short but i must go. I wish the best of luck to you and your little ones, may they be healthy and grow up to be strong" And king gave a last nickering good bye and he was off.

The ice mare nodded politely to him in an almost pensive state. Her eyes dreamy and full of emotion she responded once more. "Thank you King. I do hope we will once again talk when you are able. Fare thee well till then." she whinnied as he strode off in the opposite direction. Her face seemed so gentle and contemplative as her senses listened to the wind sing its gentle lullaby.

Glamrock trodded over to the new baskets and nuzzled them lightly. She looked forward to her own baskets... and becoming thinner again. Still, she couldn't and wouldn't complain. Motherhood was a blessing to be cherished.

Glory watched Glamrock as her eyes widened. Did she have a horn? Gaining courage she sidled over blinking. "Are you a unicorn like me?" The filly danced about showing how excited she was.

Euphoria approached Celendria and nuzzled his mate tenderly. He looked over the baskets and smiled at her, knowing how long and hard the labor must have been on her. He sniffed each absket, standing protectively over them and Celendria, guarding them from any basket thieves.

Celendria nuzzled her mate admiring the beautiful baskets that sat before them. She nickered softly to her love nuzzling him again. "I love you."

Glamrock turned and looked down at the inquisitive foal. She was such an adorable little thing and Glamrock had a mild wishful thought on if she would have a lovely unicorn daughter in the near future. Shaking out of her daydream she smiled and replied, "Yes, I'm a unicorn just like you. Though I daresay, I've never seen a horn quite as neat as yours! Or hooves as strong! Not to mention colors so lovely. Are you sure you are a unicorn and not some figment of my imagination?" Glamrock couldn't help but tease the young foal. She always felt playful around the younger soquili. She lowered her head and nuzzled the foal gently, feigning playfully to see if the youngster was real.

Euphoria murred softly, loving the feel of her touch. He looked at teh baskets containing foals inside and turned his eyes back to her. "And I love you, my beautiful lady." He admired how stunning she looked now. The sight of a mother and his foals..She never looked more beautiful then she did now. He laid down beside her, placing a wing over her and pulling her close into him.

Glory could hardly contain herself at the compliments that were directed to ger. Shining eyes of blue sparkled in adoration towards the blue unicorn whom was round as Celly originally was. Now Celly was thin again standing with her true love. She tossed her head rather playfully nuzzling the blue mare back. "You are very pretty. I never thought I'd see another like me. Course Celly said I fell from the sky." she rambled on with a playful chatter.

In a gesturing nod she curled next to him. Her heart content with the knowledge that he would protect her. Her eyes lids lowered slowly. Tired.
She breathed a deep sigh nestling closer. Drifting. The world was fading outward like the sky turns to night.

"Oh, there's a few of us lurking about. Some that need to stay lurking..", Glamrock snorted at the thought of Chaos, "I suppose there's not many around your age though. Is that difficult for you? If you ever want the company of another unicorn, you're more than welcome to visit me near the forest any time. I'll even introduce you to another though just between you and me, he's quite the fuddy duddy."

Euphoria smiled contently, watching her doze off into a deep, much needed sleep. He wondered what she was dreaming. He sheltered as much of her with his wing as possible, using it and his body to keep her warm and safe. He rested his head on her shoulders, watching the baskets. He looked forward to the days ahead, where they would raise the foals together. This world, all these feelings and experiences were all new to him. But he was not afraid. He looked forward to every new day with her with all the joy and love he had within him.

The filly adorned with the pearl spiral listened to Glamrock with high interest. She blinked as her little wispy tail flicked back and forth. "Fuddy Duddy" she repeated with a giggling fit as it gargled from her throat.
She was estatic to meet another of her kind taking note where Glamrock had made her niche. She watched the unicorn trod off whinning a cute Goodbye. "I'll come and visit.. promise!"

I have known many things in the short span of my life, watching the brazen steps of the sun across the sky, and the silky essence of the moon drifting within the sea of stars. My life, although short in summers is long through time. Sometimes I feel as old as time itself, mother earth aching in my bones. At other times Prideful youth escapes me?such are the follies of womanhood and childhood, when both mesh and collide together. Im too far lanky to be a proper woman, taller than most and more agile then some of the braves. I run with the wind at my back, with the spirit of the deer and horse. Ah, the horse? It was not long ago that I saw the vision of the icy mare, standing as graceful and elegant as whispering snow dusting the valley. Her velvet pelt a sheen of blue ice, her hair as white and whimsical as the very snow itself. I can scarcely believe that she is but a horse? so sure I was that she was a spirit. Her serene nature tells of a long life and an understanding far beyond my own. Perhaps in time I will learn much from her wise prose.


I befriended her, which astonished me more that one could imagine. I thought for sure as I blinked my eyes that she would vanish from my presence and never again would I feel her quiet calm, her grace. Yet the lure of a sweet winter apple seemed to do the trick. Sparsely could I have felt more alive than I did when she placed her head within my hand. My heart seemed to jump within my throat as my fingers caressed her silky coat. Ever since that faithful night I have seen her often?until now? I wonder with the passing of the seasons if she with pass with the winter months. Springs arrival is heralded by the melting snow, the warm sunlight that dances over the valley?.I wonder if I will see her again, or if she really was Winter?s incarnate?

With a sigh Chepi pulled her furs closer to her, her eyes washing over the hillside. Hoping against hope that this night unlike the others she would see the mare?s fragile form grace the valley.

Like a shining star Glory pounded the ground with her tiny purple hooves. Glinting they caught subtle glances from the moon as she shone down in all her majesty. The filly leapt over a nearby log and kept traveling. She whinnied in happiness.. the next best thing to flying.

Shaylee rested her own baskets with the ice mare whom seemed not to mind the company. Nodding in thanks she spread her large butterfly wings as they lifted her to the sky. Flying along she spotted little Glory jumping over things in her designated path she chose. Spiraling through the air several times she slid downward as if to dive bomb Glory. "Look out belowwwwwwwwwwww. Tee hee!"

Glory upon hearing the chirped warning ducked down that her legs practically did a split. She stood there in that akward posistion looking quite surprised. Then in her childlike nature she giggled with all she had in her. It was quite a chore to straighten herself but she managed. Her blue orbs lying upon the hyper flying dive-bomber. "Hey there shaylee. Celly watching all the baskets? Wow your wings are quite a sight. So pretty." the filly exclaimed envying the flutters gorgeous transparent wings.

Shaylee giggled doing a somersault in midair landing in a perfect stance.
She pranced about chest puffed out like a marshmallow as always. "Glory girl. Hellooooooo there. Ah yup Cel is the best. A mare just has to catch a breeze now and then... " she paused looking at the filly, "So what are you doing out.. hmm?" she queried with a wink. Shaylee loved to be playful as her naive nature always made her.

Tori was out for a nice walk and wanted some adventure. she was finaly old enough to be out on her own and wanted to see what Glory was up to. prancing as she went she came to a stream to get a drink.

Glory was not to far from the stream noticing someone but older it seemed. Kicking up her tiny hooves nipped Shaylee and took off toward Tori. She whinnied joyously though her eyes showed a bit of curiousity in them. "Tori? That you..." she asked in a sheepish little smile. Prancing over she giggled and nipped the older mare's flank.

Shaylee on the otherhand spread her wings lifting back to the sky. She tilted her flight as she zipped toward Tori. Like a little banded dragonfly her wings flitted extremely fast shining with the light upon them. She flew at such a pace that she nearly looked to crash straight into the friend of Glory. She giggled and spiraled again.

Tori turned around at then the n** and at her name being called. " Glory, yes its me!" she chuckled and niped back at glory." its just i grew up more." noticeding a flutter soquili flying about she watched in amazment.

Glory nearly ducked again as Shaylee once more zoomed overhead. Landing a little off center this round. The filly blinked and looked at her best friend in wonderment. "Wow... you've grown up so pretty. I want to be as pretty as you Tori." she chirped mocking Shaylee by puffing out her ivory white chest in play. Her little tail swished lighty the purple shimmer contrasting her own pure white coat.

Shaylee watched Glory with amusement. "Now there we go. You look like me don't ya? Silly Glory. And you must be Tori." she noted bowing with a wink. Her wings fluttering rapidly making little lights seemingly bounce off into the grass near them. She puffed out her chest and pranced about. "Me? I'm Shaylee. Hello to you."

Tori chuckled." thanks glory and im sure you will!" she looked at Shaylee and nodded." yes i am Tori, its nice to meet you Shaylee." Tori though Shaylee was quite amusing and amazing with her wings.

Glory showed such adoration for Tori that is soaked outward like a congested sponge. She was so excited to be as big, lovely, and intelligent as the first friend she had ever made. Watching Shaylee she took mental notes as to how she should act. Mainly the flight preperations the flutter made to take off into midflight. 'So what have you been up to. Hey you can be out after dark... so lucky."

Shaylee was growing bored. She thought about Azure and her thoughts mingled more excitedly. She was also craving a sugarplum at the moment. Even through her pregnacy she still ate them tlike they were candy. Such sweetness that filled her tummy. Now that she could eternally live with. The thought was amuzing. Just thinking of a Sugarplum that was as big as the local tree adjacent to them.

Tori grined at Glory and winked at her." nothing much adn its not that much fun with out you." she could not wait tell glory was older and they could do more stuff together. watching Shaylee she could tell she was bored and with a grin at Glory she nipped at Shaylee.

Shaylee trilled in an accusing playful whinny at Tori. "Wanna play do ya? Fine lets play tag then." she grinned flitting herself to the sky above. "Catch me if you can then." she giggled so much the little flutter did another loop. "Na na..." she sang as she wiggled her butt back and forth.

Glory watched Shaylee shaking her head. There was noway earthlings could catch a flutter such as her. Everly her dedicated nursemaid could vouch for that. Wham. There goes the poor fox's senses down the tubes. She pondered for a moment on a game they could all play. "Shaylee lets play Hide-n'Seek."

Tori grined and nipped at shaylee again." oh your askign for it." she turned back to glory after nipping at Shaylee again." yeah that sounds like a good idea!" athough the last time they did it did not turn out so well.

Glory looked at Tori with a discerning wink on her innocent little face. "Well I know better then to fly into a streambed then I did before. I will fly in time. Takes practice." she gasped and pranced about. "I say this time its Shaylee that finds us. Then there's no problem with her flying." she announced with a nod. Her tiny spiral painting an imaginary light as the sky darkened.

Shaylee looked down with a devious little look upon her purple features. "So you want me to seek. Good I'll seek you." she chirped with a toss of her purple locks as they tumbled over her shoulders. "Your call Tori. I seek you guys, yes?" she flitted back and forth barely ever running out of energy. She was quite perky that would assist their little game.

Tori chuckled." Glory you wont ever beable to fly like Shaylee there since your not a wind or flutter." she turned back to Shaylee and grined." sure you seek and we hide." and with one last n** at Shaylee and nudge to Glory, Tori took off to hide.

Glory nipped Shaylee afterward taking off in the opposite direction. "Where to hide??" she pondered with a quick scan of the grounds. "A flutter can see a lot on the air I bet. Okay then gotta blend." She pranced about seeing a huge hollow log. "Ah ha... perfect."
Wiggling her little self inwards she fit nicely into the abandoned tree.
"Eww smells funny in here." Here she would wait.

Shaylee seemed to wave them off counting in numbers irrelevent to anyone's knowlede. She flitted back and forth as she counted in her own little pattern. Giggling she waited a few then took for the skies. "Hmm if I were a Glory girl where would I hide. Tee hee sticks out like a slice of the moon she does." Manuvering herself she held a close vigil for anything that moved. "Ready or not here I come!"

Tori chuckled and tryed to find a place to hide. she saw a bush she could lay bahid and hopfully be hidden. knowing Shaylee could fly she hoped she could not be found behind a bush.

Glory was getting a tad bit uncomfortable from her hiding place. What seemed perfect at the time was turning out to be a nightmare. Something was moving further in the log. She blinked and cringed loosing all her strong willpower as she belived she had. Shaking her head she pondered, "This is silly. I'm stronger and better than what shows on the outside. I'm special. I have a horn. I..." she flinched as something moved even more. "Oh dear... but if I back out now Shaylee will find me".

Shaylee yawned thinking about her little baskets with Celendria. Her thoughts drifting off to the mountains, Azure, Sugarplums... Sugarplums. Why was she so darn hungry for them day in and day out. She was once told that she looked like one. There was a refreshing comment... more like a sarcastic overtone. She snorted and watched once more. "Why does it have to get darker... sheesh. Tori stayed put in here spot and started to notice it geting a little dark. she cringed a little and hoped Glory was alright since she was still younger after all. even though it was geting darker she hope Shaylee would find her so they could find Glory quick since the last time they played hide and seek and it got dark it turn out to be a nitemare.

Glory wiggled as the breathing was getting closer. "Oh no this isn't happening. Please tell me I'm not in some silly trouble agin. No howling things so its alright."

Closer it gained toward the shaken foal.

"No no.. go away. Don't eat me...please." she cringed closing her eyes shut.

Something touched her right foreleg. Glory just about squealed as she wished she was with Celly again.

A pair of eyes peered into hers as she opened them. A little teal canivore sat blinking in amazement at the shaken unicorn.

Shaylee grumbled now she was hungry. Flitting about the sun dipped lower than it had been. "Sheesh... nowe I can't see anything. Hello there Mr. Sun.. a little more light please?" she snorted tossing her head in irritation. "Ow this bites." She slid itowards the ground landing with a thump. "Fine I'll do this the hard way. mutter.

Tori gave a snort geting bored of waiting on Shaylee to find her. she figured that because it was getign dark, Shaylee could not find them as quick. giving another snort she waited and wondered if Glory was fine hiding.

The eyes of the teal fox turned from startled to gengle in the filly's presence. "Many apoligies little one... hmm?" he paused seeing the spiral atop the child's forehead. "Glory is that you? What are you doing hiding in a log?" he queried with a tinge of worry for the ambitious playful youth.

The voice was instant. The recognation was just as fast. "Everly? Oh good I hoped you wouldn't eat me." she reassured herself wasn't going to happen. "You always hide out in smelly logs?" she couldn't help but giggle on that one.

Shaylee trudged along feeling rather bored and a tinge of crankiness. The sun had abandoned her to the vile night filled with things unseen. Flying in the dark was not her cup of tea which she avoided when she could.

Tori grew even more bored and wondered when in the heck she would be found. she was in a bush that barely covered her sicne she was now an adult. snorting again she hoped this game would end soon since it was more fun to find someone than hide.

Shaylee was fed up with these foal games. "Hey guys.. this darkness is not helping. Lets just umm call it and say sometime else. Guys?" She looked around and practically tripped over her own feet. "Geez this is not fair.. Come out already."

Glory looked at Everly and smiled, "Its getting dark out there. I'm kind of scared when it gets like that. Shh don't tell please." Yawning she felt the urge to rest coming. "Gotta go home soon Everly. But so sleepy now."

Everly watched her doze and shook his head. "You should be home with you mother. Hmm let me see if I can find that flutter." he muttered sounding a tad crass that she always did things to irk the poor fox. "Nursemaid indeed." he growled and darted out looking for Shaylee.

Tori snorted and heared what Shaylee said and came out. " ok Shaylee now lets find Glory." she came out of the bush adn started to loook around for Glory sicne it was late and she was not suppost to be out this late. while looking she saw a teal fox blot about looking for someone.

Glory had curled into a deep sleep, head filled with visions and dreams.
A tiny sigh esaped her falling deeper into slumber as it called outward.

Everly looked quite peeved that Shaylee of all creatures had Glory out this late. He made a clicking noise with his nails as the scraped a large stone. "Shaylee... do you realize Celendria will have your head should something happen to Glory?" Shaking his head he flicked his bushy tail. Beady little orbs narrowed as they pointed to the log the young filly lied within.

Shaylee shrugged as she trotted over to the object the little one had in within. Flashbacks made her quesy to the thought of the tree with the compost. "Yeah well... how we gonna get her out of there? She's sound asleep like a little baby." Snorting with a grunt the minature horse peeked in and nudged the unicorn. Hey you.. bedtime. But not in this smelly log of all places."

Tori came over where she saw Shaylee and the fox and wondered what they where doing." hey what you guys doing?" she noticed Shaylee was poking somethign in the log and tryed to help her and saw it was glory fast alseep and chuckled.
