Weve been talking on PM.

He only wants a sanctioned fight (he expects me to go through a ******** promoter) so he can get some MMA exposure.

I've told him that a car will pick him up from the airport, and accommodation will be given, but there will be no sanctioned fight, there will be no rules or gloves, no referees, no first aiders on sight and that he could well go home in a wooden box.

When somebody throws a gauntlet down at me, and offers to come to my ******** country to beat the s**t out of me, they play by my ******** rules.

I am not a sportsman, and I will not be touchy-feeley with somebody who challenges me to a fight.

sweatdrop Your startin' to sound like Sammy Franco....yannoe, the guy that has an open challenge...on the condition that there are no rules whatsoever...meaning he can get his friends to jump you if you challenge him or use a gun.

At least consider having SOME rules in the mix. ******** a sanctioned fight....but at least have some rules to keep fatalities down, yannoe? Life imprisonment isn't cool.

He only wants a sanctioned fight so he can get exposure. Even if gloves were agreed, he wouldn't agree, because all he wanst to do is get some fame.

I on the other hand, want to cause serious damage.

He seems to think I can get him in an arena, no promoter will put somebody in a ring, unless they have some kind of professional or amateur record.

*Edit*

Of course it will be one-on-one, nobody will jump in during the fight.

I heard, but still, do something to cover your a** k? whether that be some kind of written contract/agreement that says no one can be sued for their actions. And seriously...having someone's blood on your hands, no matter how dumbass they are, can twist your psyche.

I seriously doubt this will happen now as he's just avoiding the issue.

Providing you can justify the act within yourself then your fine.

*Edit*

There is no right or wrong, only opinion.

no right or wrong, only opinion? I agree but I'm just wondering where that came from.

You're right, I don't think it'll happen, but I also feel that you're still not the type to kill him. Harm him seriously yes, kill him no. And I can't see how you can quite justify it in your mind. Does stupidity really warrent death or should they be given a second chance?

One thing that does strike me however, is that wouldn't it be funny if you play by his rules, get a promoter and beat the s**t out of him anyways. Hmm...delicious thought...

Keep in mind that even if you write up a contract, if any part of it is illegal, the whole thing is void and won't do s**t for you in court.

And in that case, you must ask yourself one quesiton: Is his stupidity worth you being locked in prison for life?

Its the right or wrong saying was a conclusion I came to a long time ago.

The only way I could get a promoter involved, is if we both had a pro or amateur record. Neither of us have that, so its not gonna happen his way.

No it isn't worth going to prison for life, trust me, I know what it's like in prison.

Anyway, there are means and ways of disposing of bodies, especially if you know the right people.

I realize that, but it's still not particularly comforting to have something like that hanging over your head, afraid you'd be caught...besides, he'd be missed and one thing would lead to another. sweatdrop Seriously..I really don't think any of us have the killer in us. We might say it, but when push comes to shove, at that singular moment... One of my ex was trained in the army, being in bootcamp and all, but when he finally shot someone out of self defense, he was panicing as hell.

And yes, I do agree with your conclusion, I was just wondering what prompted that sudden edit.
