gackt_stalker It is VERY good! You'll love it; especially if you like looking at Gackt... The story line/plot is very interesting and Gackt looks all hot the entire time so there's that bonus... There's not a lot of romance.... Hardly any at all actually. It's mostly about Kei and shou's relationship. (Gackt and hyde) And there is only a vague sense that they both like the girl..... I agree with this review... "This movie was much better than I expected, considering both Gackt and Hyde are j-rock idols and not actors. The description is so wrong though. While there are hints that both of them like her, don't expect much in the way of romance...and don't expect them to turn their backs on the visual kei factor...." --Reviewer at Amazon However, I was blown away by it and I almost cried at the end. It was sad, but can be confusing some times. Watch it a few times before giving up... yeah, i watched half of it on youtube and then wanted to buy the whole movie to keep for myself!! xd then i watched it again. the first time i watched it, i don't really understand it but i just love gackt and hyde acting together!! gawd, no offense, i thought leehom in there was going to be great but he turned out to be so horrible!! gonk bad acting skills and freakin stupid accent!! scream i'm sorry to all the leehom fans, i just can't bare his acting in moonchild. it was really sad, indeed. crying but other than that, the shooting and the fights was awesome!! xd

Negative_X Moon Child... Arguably one of the best movies I've seen ever to tell the truth. I'm not saying that just because it has Gackt in it. When I got a hold of this movie... A Saturday I believe it was... Before the next Saturday I had already watched it Thirteen times. What can I say, I was blown away by it. It was absolutly nothing like I expected. I had no Idea Gackt and HYDE could act so well, their talents are phonaminal. This is one of the only movies where I litterally did not move an inch the entire two hours of the movie. I showed the movie to a friend of mine who ended up leaving the room in the first 15 minutes because he couldn't stand having to read the movie. I personally didn't exactly read the movie, I wish I could take the subtitles off because I can understand it all now, no thanks to the numbers of times watching it. This movie made me laugh, "Ouch... You've got a hole in your jacket" "This cost me a lot assholes!" This movie made me cry, *spoiler* -> Toshi's Death Scene "I got a call from the orphanage... Mom came back for me... We're meeting here tomorrow..." "Toshi! Don't you dare die Toshi!" Shinji's Death Scene... He didn't shoot because of the baby... The "death" scene of Sho with Kei<- *spoiler end* Yes this movie made me cry, I'm not ashamed to admit it. This movie has my new favorite quote, "We watched the setting sun... A perfect orange glow... Both about to cry... For our final farewell..." This movie is what sparked up my interest in Gackt as well. I've searched around for other Gackt Merchendise but to no avail... If anyone gets the chance to watch this movie, do it. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Just reading what you wrote about it made me start crying. It's a wonderful movie. It must be to make me cry. ^^; I think it is undoubtedly the best movie I've ever seen. Even my History teacher has seen it.

Hey, can anybody who has seen the film answer a question for me?
See, I have all the songs from the film except for one. I have no idea what it is called, or who sings it, as it *isnt* credited at the end.
The scene is the 'cafe' with Gackt and the flowers. There is a song playing on the record player thing.
Anyone know what it's called or who it's by?

I think I can honestly say that that was the single greatest movie I have ever seen. I cried so many times. In fact, whenever I feel sad now, I sing Orenji no Taiyou. Kei was a really sexy vampire. spoiler -> And so was Sho at the end of the movie...although Gackt is always sexy so... sweatdrop nevermind. and...oh God! Toshi! cry Just when you start to get used to him...he was an adorible little b***h, right till the end. And I loved the dancing with corpse shooting scene. And probably the best part was the Cigarette scene. I giggle everytime I hear the word "cigarette." And Sho's "death" scene had me sobbing uncontrollably. <-spoiler end. Yeah, I wish I could find the DVD. It would be so great! But I cant find it at all. I hear Barnes and Noble has it, but thats in America...and this is Canada. crying crying crying

Just bought the DVD and finally got to see the whole movie without any disturbing bugs, crappy quality and other stuff that YouTube causes. And my eyes are probably still red for all that crying. The most beautyful movie I've ever seen in my entire life. YAY for MoonChild!! Spoiler ahead, zomg. >_< --> Specially the scene in which Sho shot the ceiling so that Kei couldn't save/help him. And Sho's "death". <--I cried my eyes out. Now I'm waiting for my friends to come over, they all want to see what made me cry so hard (and I've told them how great the movie is, so.. XD)

It wasn't bad. It could have been better in some aspects, but all in all it wasn't bad.
I wouldn't mind owning it so I could watch it anytime instead of having to rely on youtube.

Your friends thought it was stupid?! Oh my, when I invited my friends over and we watched it, we were all crying our eyes out!! Seriosly~!! We just cried and cried and cried and finally we ran out of tears and a few weak sobs were heard at times. But after all, we all agreed that it was the greatest movie we had ever seen.

Its really good. I am dying to buy it. they sell it on ebay for $4 but i am not going t but it cause the selling doesn't have 100%, its like 92.2%, way too low for me. but your willing to try it. Also Gackt for a book called Moon Child: Requiem its book 2, it goes after the movie. Basicaly the movie was never written out as a book. I want the book, but its in Japanese.
