Dumu smiled.
"It is nice to meet you two! I am a rouge so I wander a lot with my parents and brother! But, yes I am from around here!"
He called back.
"This is stupid...I should be yelling across the water hole just to talk to them..."
he said to himself, the other probably could not hear him from where he was anyways if he had to yell to get his message across. But Dumu had to stay a good distance from them.

Legeti tilted his head, blinking, then spoke up. "Whatcha doin' over there mister Dumu?"
Kabi blinked. Not a thought that crossed her mind.

"Drinking"
He replied. Well, that was his original purpose of coming to the water hole.
"Aren't you here for the same thing, Kabichi? Legeti? I assume Usufii had shown you here for the reason to get a drink. But why are you still here and not following that wolf?"
He called back. Again, a spurt.

Had he been watching them? Interesting! Kabichi was obliuvious to the idea of seers, and simply sit, shrugging.
"He's not our Poppa. He brought us here to be safe."
Her tail switched slightly. Why wouldn't he come over? Legeti, seeing the lioness sit, sat himself.
"Cause the place we was before was no safe!" He said, proudly.

"Well, the wolf was right. This place is safe, but there are still dangers here at night. I suggest that you find a den to spend the night before the noctunes come out for the night hunts. I suggest a small den that is well hidden."
He spoke out, sitting there.
"Just north of here. That way. There is den under a gnarled acacia tree. It is a good place to spend the night and it has no one in it since the last time I checked. I think you should check it out before the sun falls."
The dark red cub looked in the direction to the north and then Dumu looked up to the sky and back to them.
"And the sun is falling fast. I should be getting back to my own family."

Kabichi glanced to the sky. Yes, the sun was setting. The North Star was rising, and she knew how to find North simply from what her father had taught her of the stars. The small cub bowed, and smiled.
"Thank you, Damu! Will we meet again?" She smiled gratefully. Dens were always helpful.

Dumu turned his head a bit back to them.
"Maybe, maybe not. The stars will tell until the next we meet. You two better stay self if you do wish to meet me again."
With that he disappeared into the grasses again. The green weaved and waved as he moved further from the two rogues. He was leaving to go home and soon the weaving grass grew shorter as he moved further until it became nothing.
Until next they meet.

Kabichi watched the cub leave, and nudged Legeti. Northward, they'd go. If it was a Den, it was most definaitely safe... She hoped.
