Karen sighed. "These are the last questions I'll be answering for the night," she said. "Ok, yes I know him because duh, we are in the same house. His name is... well the name escapes me. And, I don't really know the girl that was in here. Can I go to bed now?"

Lisha shrugged with a smile, "Ok." she said and out of no where gave Karen a hug before bouncing off to her own dorm room.

Karen staggered for a moment after being hugged. She shook it off, and went up stairs to bed.

((Alright I'm making it a new day...))
Karen woke up unusually early for a Saturday. She crawled out of bed and put on her black bath robe. 'I wonder if anybody else is up,' she thought, not remembering anything from the other night.
She left the dorm and made her way downstairs to the common room.

Lisha seemed to have Karen radar, because not long after Karen was in the common room, Lisha joined her there. She smiled looking around for others in addition to Karen as she bounced around.

Karen layed down on one of the couches, ignoring Lisha's hyper active activity.

Lisha bounced over to Karen, "So what are we doing today? Where is every one else? Do they always sleep in like this?"

"Ack!" Karen fell off of the couch and landed with a thud on the groud. "We do basically nothing," Karen grunted as she got up. "Yes, they sleep in. I do too but I couldn't this time."

Lisha went over to Karen and tried to help her up, but in several ways was more of a hinderance than a help.
"Why couldn't you sleep in this time? Did you feel the thing too? What about the other girls in your dorm?"

Karen placed a hand over Lisha's mouth. "Not another word about it," she said quietly. "Now, let's go get breakfast before you wake the rest of the house."

As soon as Karen's hand left her mouth and they were out in the hall, Lisha started bombarding her with questions again, "So you DID feel it!" she whispered loudly, "What is it? Do you know if any one else felt it? What does it do?"

Karen silenced Lisha once again. "Like I said, don't talk about it." She bit the inside of her lip, worried. That sound had been there at the end of last year too, but she wasn't about to tell Lisha anything that might make her ask more questions.

Lisha tried to keep talking through the hand. She wanted to know what it was, and knew that Karen knew more than she was letting on. Finally she stopped trying to speak, even though her curiosity was knawing at her. She looked up at Karen, her large turquoise eyes pleading for her to explain what the thing she had felt earlier was.

Karen looked down at Lisha. "Look, you'd better go find somebody else to tell you because I'm definatly not going to," she said impatiently. She wasn't used to this much attention, let alone from the same person. "When we get to the great hall, you can ask somebody in there."

A girl runs down the halls from the Gryffindor common room, ravenous with hunger, and runs into Karen and Lisha.
"Oh, I'm so sorry! My name is Idril."
