Horror here.

It's not particularly scary... hell, it ain't scary at all. But it's a vampire story and it's got heartless blood drinking and so forth, so I figure that puts it under the horror genre. /shrug

Uh... I don't know actually. It's just sort of general dramatic... stuff...

It's about a guy going from a slutty "party girl" type to settling down with someone and growing up. What kind of story is that?

Erotic gay fiction. It's fun stuff ^^

I barely even mentioned what it was about and I had a few people going, hey, I want to read it when you're done!

Mine went from Romance to Fantasy to Romance/Angst. At one point it was also going to be a GLBT fiction, but I decided not to have that as the main genre in the end, as I'd probably be crap at writing it.

Complete cheesball fantasy. It's so cliched, it's a black hole of clichedness.

But at least there's smut. 3nodding

Science Fiction... but with magic and Gods and Goddesses that apparently actually do stuff, so it has a fantasy flavor to it.

It started as science fiction but by the end if had sort of morphed into Horror.

So Horror-SciFi.

EDIT: But a couple characters are classified as wizards, and another is classified as a changeling...so...maybe some fantasy? I dunno.

I decided to choose Mystery/Suspense as a category on the NaNo site, but it is just mystery, I think. At some points, it gets scary, but it's not real horror.

Mainly fantasy, with a chapter of romance and maybe a little erotica. sweatdrop

There's also going to be a section of historical fiction and some science fiction thrown in. And horror. I tend to write my battle scenes as a sort of horror.

It's dramatic and I would say Mystery for one chapter.

Fantasy. I could never write in any other genre and manage to finish the book, except on maybe my luckiest NaNoWriMo year.

Anything, I try myself at stuff. I'm particularly fond of creating things that don't exsist, or haven't been seen before, therefore my favorite genre is Fantasy. I'm currently having a Sci Fi phase, I don't forsee it sticking to me though. I love writing drama, or just normal lives stories, just to relate to or others could relate to, I'm not particualrly exceeding in this genre though, I'm practicing. I've always liked being gory and evil to my characters, but some reason I only can be when I'm writing cheap Horrors, yup. So If you see me writing a novel, it's most likely fantasy, If I'm writing whatever it can be... whatever.

Steampunk is my genre in 2007. If you had to place that inside fantasy with a touch of either Victorian England or the Wild Wild West.

My 2006 NaNo genre was science fiction & action (a Power Ranger story inspired by Code Lyoko).

I had lots of fun with fantasy last-year, but I'm doing myself some hard scifi/religion/politics/dinosaurs this time around. Or just sci-fi. :'D
