Sigilos looked at Gattin, indignant. It was very interesting to see him indignant.

*Fly? Are you trying to insult me? *

He drew himself up proudly.

*I am the best trickster in any Kingdom I have ever been to. I have more subtle ways of getting in and out of anyplace without detection. Flying is for amateurs. And your makeup will only last a little while, mine is real, and will last until I say so. *

With that, he Shifted, changing his appearance to that of a dignified man, one slightly past his prime.

His voice matched his new looks, sounding aged and weary.

*Not bad, not bad at all. I find that the old man thing is very unthreatening. No one wants to shake down a poor old man. Heheheh! *

He cracked his knuckles, the pops echoing around the clearing.

*Now! Inside the castle! *

He waved his hands, looking almost like he was gathering threads, then he twisted his hands, almost like pulling threads. Their group was inside the fortress, inside of a small hallway on the edge of the building.

Sigilos drew his sword, changing it to look like a walking cane. He started off at a brisk pace down the hall, ignoring the fact that he looked like he needed the cane.

*Well, keep up! *

A pressence seemed to appear in her subconcious and wrenched her from her sleep. Something felt wrong or misplaced and she sat up in bed.

"Miss war-bringer..." A voice said in her mind.

"Hm?" She asked out loud, the sleepyness falling off her like a drape. She rubbed her right eye, it was the voice of her superior in the Order.

"Do not stray, be prepared to tear through who you have to in order to achieve the ultimate goal of the Order." The echoed, almost electronic voice said. She sighed and got up, placing her armour on. She grabbed her sword and swung it around her back. Her long fire-red hair waved in the wind as she opened the door to the balcony and let the cold night enter her stuffy room. She put her helmet on and looked into the night, staring at the moon.

Gatt pulled Sigilos'es sword down and forced him to sheth it by using pressure points ((A dragon has the same pressure points no matter what form he is in)). Gatt then whispered in a harsh tone "Sig, please, where trying to be inconspicuous. If someone finds an old man holding a sword like that there is going to be suspision." Gatt then sighed "you might look like an old man and you might sound like an old man, but if you don't act like one you will stick out like an old man." Gatt then held up his compas, it was still all the arros whent haywire and all pointed to one of the doors.

"Well, I think she might be there, but I also think there might be another piece of the puzzle, a realy big piece of a puzzle." Gatt then knocked on the door. He poked his neck with his pen to disguise his voice to one of the guards that he remebered a long time ago.

"Madam, sorry to wake you, but there are some people out here saying that you are the leader of Virtuous Revival. Will you come out and talk agenst this claim."

"....What?" She said outloud, turning towards the door. She walked towards it, angered. Someone was breaking protocal as only higher ranking officials were aloud to address her at her quarters. And she knew the voices of her higher ranking officials well. Had her personal door guards gone for a break or something?

She stopped behind the door.

"What is your name and rank, and how did you manage to come here without authorization?" She yelled. She withdrew her sword and waited for an answer, her temper rising.

"My name Pyrosh, I am just one of the guards, but I was sent by one of the higher ranks to tell you to come down and denounce these outrageous claims." Gatt said, starting to visibly sweat.

Sigilos watched Gattin sweat, smiling as a plan sprung to his mind. He drew his sword again, changing it to look like a walking cane again. He still couldn't figure out what Gattin thought he would keep a sword out, it looked, felt, an acted jut like a cane.

He smiled and put hi plan into action.

*What are you doing there, you little rip! Get away from that door! *

He silently laughed at Gattin's look of horror and surprise. He sent a thought to Gattin.

{*Quickly, change into something else! You and Shela need to hide!*}

He called out again, leaning on his cane and acting like an old man.

*Get away from there I said! Don't you dare play tricks on officers! Get out of here you little scamp! *

He looked at the door, speaking to who was behind it. He saw Gattin and Shela disappear, and wondered for a moment where they had gone. Then he returned to the task at hand.

*My apologies, officer. Those hooligans are ruthless. You needn't worry about them, there’re harmless. Just looking to stir a little trouble, I suppose. *

He waited for the officer to show herself, knowing that social protocol demanded she respect an elder.

She wanted to growl but she had to maintain a human appearance. 'What blasted elder is prowling around at this hour?' She thought to herself.

"Be careful, our prophet tells us something is amist." Said the voice. This was the first time she had heard that the Order had its own Seers, but now was not a time to question it. She was caught between the need to respect the elder in the human world and the rage to tear his head off from her dragon self.

She opened the door slowly and her ice blue eyes fixed on the old man before her, his eyes somehow familiar along with his scent. Even if she wanted to throw him out, she couldn't risk losing her human cover.

"From which province do you hail, sir?" She asked politely. "For you are obviously not an elder of the Imperial City."

Gatt ran over to the nearest corner, changing his whole apperence this time. This time he looked like what would be the elder's son, but he kept Shela's human apperence. Wrapping the scarf around Shela's neck and giving her the InkScyth Gatt said "Shela, you stay here, but be carefull. If anything happens just follow the scarf alright." Shela shook her head and watched as Gatt hurredly walking out twards Siglos.

"There you are" Gatt said in a young voice "how many times do I have to tell you grandfather that you need some sleep." He then looked at the officer, a slight chill ran down his spine as his eyes met her's. {Those blue eyes} he thought {those are the same ice blue eyes that the shadow dragon had. This must be her}
Gatt's finger twitched, eager to pull out the elemental compas, because at this range it would pick up the elemental power just raideating off the person.
"I am sorry madam" he said politely "but my grandfather just cant' stay put."

She stared the newcommer down and waited for him to finish.

"He must have come a long way," she said, a plan forming in her head. She didn't have the power to sense just what these people were, if they weren't human, or what their intentions were. Her hostility passed and she began to feel much different- deceptive, even. She smiled at the two and continued, "Why don't you have a rest then, an elder no matter where he hails from, should have his fair rest. Since you two are obviously not from around here you must have traveled from a long way. There are not many who are on good terms with the Imperial City that are settled close by."

She motioned to her door.
"Come in, please. I can't get my rest anyways."

The old man cackled, leaning heavily upon his cane as he walked into the offered chamber.

*Well, thank you very much, officer! It's good to see some young’uns with a bit of respect! *

He turned to Gattin, deciding to have some fun.

*You could learn a thing or two from the good officer, Sardak. *

He leaned in, and in a loud whisper that everyone could hear...

*She's pretty to, you would like her. *

He cackled again as Gattin's face turned red.

He had seen the look on the officer’s face as he walked in; he didn't need to read her thoughts to know she was up to something. He ground s he sat on the bed, resting his hands in front of him on the top of the cane, which was carved to resemble a coiling dragon.

*In answer to what province, I'm afraid we're not from this Kingdom at all. My grandchildren and I are here on business. You see, I am an herbalist and a trader, one of the best in four Kingdoms. Heheheh, why, we also came to find a likely bride for my grandson. He will be of age in three suns, and I thought this would be a good chance to help him out. Heheheh! *

Little Vicious

PostPosted: Tue Nov 07, 2006 5:56 pm

(srry, i haven't been on in a while)
Vicious stood silently, hiding amoung the trees, watching a large group of dragons. "must be the order of virtuous revival," she whispered to herself. she walked away into the trees, a small wave of shadows following behind.
PostPosted: Tue Nov 07, 2006 6:45 pm

((I suggest you stop controling my character, little things maybe, but not like him running through the hall like the last post.))

"Sardak" walked into the room, he had the compas in his pocket. Looking down at it, right as he passed her, the black arrow jolted over to her then the compas disapered. *Got Yah* Gatt thought *that thing was taking precious power from me, and Sig, she's the shadow dragon, so keep your guard.*

"Granpa" Sardak said in character in the response "I told you not to tell people that."

They walked in and she followed, slamming the door behind her. She walked over to a small corner and opened a box from a table containing tea. She grabbed some containers and poured water into three of them. She turned back around to them and gazed coldly.

"The water is cold and needs to be warmed up." She stated. She walked to the door and called for a guard. Within minutes one showed up nervous and scared.

"Do not worry about your failure to remain at my door. Go to the kitchen and warm this up. Quickly!" She said and gave the guard a cold stare. He nodded and took the containers from her. She closed the door behind him.

"Charming but I am a commander, sir, and not in the business of marriage and reproduction." She pulled up a chair and sat down then continued, "What is your opinion of the imperial nation?" She inquired.
PostPosted: Tue Nov 07, 2006 9:03 pm

(Read the post's thoroughly, I did not do anything of the like. I said you two disappeared, that's all. And I made you blush, big deal. These are small things, and I try to leave as much room as possible for someone to do what they like, I don't try to control people. You have accused me falsely more then once, when rereading the post would have shone I am perfectly in my rights. This is getting to be monotonous.)

The old smiled and waited for his tea.

*Of coarse, Commander, I was only jesting. As to the Imperial Nation, frankly, it needs a stronger economy. Too many politicians and not enough merchants, I say. Who needs an army or diplomats, when all you have to do is stop trading to collapse an empire, ehh, ehh? Heheheh! *

"Good point," she said with a smile. "The leaders of the imperial city should deal with this. I only bring war to wherever they wish it."

The guard returned with the hot water and she beckoned him in. When the tea was ready for consumption she handed one to the old man and to his son. She lifted it in a cheer and sipped.

"Have you any news about Koravor recently? Surely a trader hears many things in their travels, correct?" She asked, gazing directly into the old man's eyes. She also gasped when she noticed the truth in his eyes; he was indeed not a human, but a dragon. It was most likely that they too knew she was one. She continued with the facade.
