KumarKakarla [XxGuardianDevilxX] KumarKakarla [XxGuardianDevilxX] Were ninja's bald like the shaolin monks? I really don't know, but I see little reason why they would be. I believe shaolin monks, much like devout Hindus, shaved their heads and offered their hair to their gods, but don't quote me on that. I know for a fact that Hindus do, though. Now, if that really is the reason for shaolin monks doing so, why would ninjas? But I would be interested in more info about this. I'll try to check it out. Thanks mrgreen
Why were the ninja's and monks enemies? Is it because Ninja's were assasins, and Monks were peaceful and all, but just as skilled in Hand-to-Hand. confused Ninjas and monks were enemies? sweatdrop According to my favourite computer game "Battle Realms" mrgreen

Barsona hand to hand is still called tai-jutsu in my belief... as well, ninjutsu is not those fancy things you see in Naruto If you watch rakudai Ninja Rantaro, that is a more accurate discription of what ninja's, or shinobis, did during the feudal eras.... As well, I am not really sure where you got the information of the religious belief... Even some of the Daimyos believed in Shintoism... tsktsk.. we all know nijutsu is the art of being intangible AND having homicidal abilities at the same time xp

I'm not really sure on the credibility, it seemed to refute some stuff. If you can give me a source about tai-jutsu, it would be greatly apreciated, and I'll glady add the info. And, rakudai Ninja Rantaro, is that a movie? I'll check it out.

Ninja-ken are longer than wakizashis and shorter than katanas. yep.. they were indeed, that's why wakizashi's would be excellent for a ninja to hold.. rather than a much longer sword. but logic tells us.. ninja's didn't use a specific sword.. because that would label them as ninja's, and that would make them stick out a sore thumb, which is something they do not want. (cause the law enforcement checked people if they had a sword or not)

But generally, they used the ninja-ken, which is between the two in length. Also, a ninja isn't always an imposter in the open, he can also work as a hidden assaulter. Then, it wouldn't matter if he always carried the same weapon, if he didn't want to be seen until it was too late to stop him anyway.
