Shenzi rolled her eyes as the doctor sifted through all the needles, filling two syringes with an icky looking liquid. Making a disgusted face, she pointed at Miller even as he volunteered, grinning crookedly as Sabin gave him the shot.
"So how many doctors are here, if you've got over seventy patients?" She asked, watching the two.

Sabin grinned, obliging Miller's volunteering and wiped his arm with the cotton swab. "Ahh, brave man." He teased with a wink, and injected him with the parakeet, enjoying the inversion.
There was a pinch, a sting, a feeling of warmpth spreading over his body, and then Sabin was retracting the needle and tossing it and the swab into the wastebin.
Turning to Shenzi with the second needle he smiled and waved her closer. "There is a lot of staff here." He answered. After all, the medical complex did seem quite large. "It's a popular place to work - tropical island and all that." He chuckled as he wiped her arm with the second cotton swab and repeated the injection process on her exposed arm.

Miller bit his tounge some what as Sabin mocked him in what he thought was good nature jokeing. Even as the needle sank in Miller could feel the strange sensation of cold metal inside his flesh that was all to quickly turned warm. "Whoa..."
He shivered slightly at the strange sensation steping back letting Shenzi take his place now. "Will we be seeing much of the staff or do we each have our own individual doctor?"

Shenzi winced slightly as she saw and felt the cold metal of the needle slide into her arm. "Bleech..." She stuck her tongue out, shivering slightly as she felt her arm turn warm. Once Sabin threw out the needle, she massaged the spot on her arm with a thumb.
"Where are our rooms?" She asked, after Miller had. "Do we share places?"

Tossing the second needle away as well, Sabin clapped his hands and faced the two of them.
"And that's that. Not so painful, no? And you two will each have doctors in charge of your individual process, although almost anyone at the facilities will be able to assist you. Your rooms are outside of the labs - closer to the beach and the jungle. rather nice places, actually. You'll each have your own rooms, but you'll be neighbors of eachother."
He headed back to the elevator, waving them to follow him. "Now, if you'll follow me, I shall take you there!'

The grin on Miller's face wouldn't last forever, but for now the thought of a room down by the beach made this trip for paying back debt almost seem like a vacation all over again.
"Well then, you can tell said doctor to give me a call when need be, if all the medical testing is this easy I'll work full time here!" He followed after Sabin with relaxed air about him.

Shenzi looked appraisingly at Miller, when Sabin mentioned being neighbors. "Mmm." Was all she said, before following after Sabin, her hands in her pockets as she stood up straight.
Beaches, rain forest, wow, great place to pick, tatka. Must've coughed up alot've money... She thought in slight irritation, her thoughts drifting to her father.

Sabin nodded at Miller, leaving Shenzi to her silence as they backtracked to the jeep.
"I shall be sure to tell him." Sabin smiled as he opened the jeep door for the two of them.
"It's just a short ride to your rooms."
Once again, he gunned the engine, and as soon as they were in their seat and buckled in, Sabin set off down a different dirt road, through the jungle.

Miller nodded to Sabin again as he climbed in to the jeep. He sat down getting comfortable for the ride when he noticed how quite Shenzi had gotten since they got the shots. He reached over snatching her hat again.
"Come on cheer up a bit, it's like spring break on the islands."

Shenzi made a face, making a grab for her hat again and instead falling over Miller's lap. "He-ey! It's not exactly spring break when your parents and friends send you to a rehab over a thousand miles away two weeks before your birthday." She said, wrinkling her nose as she tried to snatch the hat back, her whole body bumping and bouncing with the speed Sabin was going on the road.

Sabin let the two of them talk during the drive to the village.
The five mile drive through the jungle was over soon enough as the trees opened up again to reveal a large collection of buildings organized in a wheel-like pattern around a larger central building.
Pulling up alongside one vertical pair in particular, he smiled, tossed each of them a key. "And here we are! Your humble abodes. If either of you have any questions or need anything, you just need to press 0 on the intercoms! In the mentime, make yourselves at home and ... welcome to the island!"

At first Miller found fun in playing keep away with Shenzi till she finally came about to telling exactly why she was so gloomy. As a result he promplty placed the hat back on top her head with a small smile. "I'll make it up to you, me and you can have a party alright?"
And almost as soon as it strated the ride was over and Miller was holding a key to his room. "I guess we'll see you latter then Doctor." He hoped out the jeep moving to the back gathering his bags and handing Shenzi her own.

Shenzi smiled broadly, sitting back up. "I'll hold'ja to it." She said; that certainly made her happier as the jeep stopped. Climbing out, she grabbed her key and bags from the doctor and Miller, dropping them outside the door.
"This it, then?" She was talking to herself, her back to the jeep and the other two, as she looked up. "78, 78..." She mumbled to herself; she was on the second floor, then. She absently waved good bye to the doctor, saying something along the lines of 'whatever.'

"Have fun!" Sabin waved, with a smile that was more than just a genial goodbye. Once he saw that they were headed in, he headed back to the labs.

Miller took one last look at the jeep as it took off and another glance at Shenzi before finally heading over to his room. Meeting a rather interesting girl on a tropical island while makeing money just takeing a needle to the arm? Life was deffinetly good at the moment.
