Pausing until the last moment, Aki signed her name on tha page, emiting a quiet chuckle as she watched the antics of the other shinobi. As she headed towards the door, stopping for a moment next to Saluk.

"While I wish for no fighting between us," she said quietly, staring out the door rather than at the ninja, "I do not rely on my companion for protection. He's more of... a tool or comrade."

With that, she shrugged lightly. "As a jounin, I will help watch over both the Genin and Chuunin, if it is not a problem." She added, replacing the kunai she had been playing with back into her leg holster.

Ryu walked up next to Ogami. "That is a threat, and i wont tolerate that against my teammates."

Ryu walked to the door. "Your placed under my care, so we should head out." He turned so all could here. "We will be going our seperate ways, but in an hour, i want all to meet at the front gate for the final rundown of the mission. Until then, you are free to do what you want." He then walked out the door, and headed to the left. He sighed. "This mission is going to be interesting."

Ryu heads to his house and walks inside. He goes to the closet, and changes into some peasant clothes, but with his gauntlets hidden. He then hides his shurikens and kunai into a pouch which he puts inside is farming outfit. He then heads to the front gate waiting for the others. "Hmm, got about 55 minutes left."

*Ogami orders tea and a Beef ramen with raw beef, he quickly eats it and gives the rest to Yugo, pays the man and leaves. he heads toward the entrance gate to Konoha, and notices Ryu standing there, we walks up next to Ryu and, suprisingly beigns a..."polite" conversation*

"Whats wrong, you have no one to go to, no one to love, is there no one in your life that brings you joy? *Yugo understands where Ogami is coming from, yet pretend to act clueless by cocking his head to one side and then begins to sniff Ryu's hand*

*Shadow reached the Wave village and is now waiting for the others*

Aki had slipped out to Ichiraku when given the chance, settling herself comfortably at the end of the counter.

"I'll get chicken today." she murmured quietly. The owner nodded in reply, and set to preparing the meal. Slipping her fingers under her cloth mask, she pulled it down to her chin, not caring at the moment that her scars were visible to everyone walking by the quaint little shop.

Heaving a sigh, she pulled a pair of chopsticks from the mug in front of and broke them in half. She then reached up the gently stroke the chest of her avian companion.

"This is going to be a long mission..."

I'm sorry, did you say something?

"Ryu, i am wondering why, you came here so early. This could be your last mission, hypothetically speaking. Is there no one in your life that bring you joy, or happiness...the things i was denied? If so, why did you not bother to see them?

*Ogami continues asking strange questions about loved ones*

"I'm sorry if i annoying you with such...strange questions, but i want to know what it feels like to love and be loved. I dare not love anyone because i've seen what happens to those you love."

*Yugo continues to sniff Ryu's hand, and then returns to Ogami';s side*

"You're actually the first person i've talked to in a long time besides Yugo...the last time, I talked to the Tsuchikage, which was...16 years ago."

*Ogami then notices Yuki approaching and suddenly stopped talking, Yugo wlaks up to her and sniffs her hand, almost like if he's gathering information on the other members, then promptly returns to Ogami*
