Vesper winced and let out a yelp as the blade entered her foot. As the blade was removed to attack (sorry, I didn’t know how to remove a blade from ones foot during battle.) she took a swift step backwards and cast White Wind. Immediately an aura appeared around her, one that was constantly changes colors of soft hues.
(I thought the spell had an MP cost, but apparently it doesn’t.) HP: 62/MP: 24/Defense: 2

Nimue inwardly gaped, awed by such a display of magic. However, she retained her cool exterior, although she eyed the aura with suspicion. Ignorant of what the spell was, or its effects, she hesitated slightly, losing a chance to deliver a critical attack while the mage was recovering from casting.
Furious at her own stupidity, Nimue ignored her inner fears and drove her blade into the aura and into Vesper, relieved when nothing attacked her in return. However, to her horror, even as she cut into the mage's skin the wound closed up slightly.
Somehow, the warrior still managed to keep control, instead of fleeing in terror as she wished. Pushing her fears to the side, Nimue forced herself to concentrate on the mage's next hit.

Vesper winced, but with a smirk upon her face. She was glad that she’d cast White Wind, for that could have been a lot worse. This foe had talent, and they were both basically fighting melee with the exception of that once in a battle spell she just used. She wouldn’t give up though, there was too much at stake. Even if she lost, she’d carry out the battle as long as she could. Inside she squealed with joy. She’d be getting a lot of great data on melee warriors from this one.
The red mage raised her rapier from at her side to before her, and with a fluid movement she also attempted a stab as her opponents guts.

Nimue pulled back, but not before the blade pierced her abdomen. Wincing, she resisted the urge to examine the wound, knowing it would waste precious time. Instead, she used the pain to focus, her eyes narrowing slightly as she eyed Vesper. It was time to try something different.
With an elaborate (and probably unnecessary) spin, Nimue placed herself at the side of her opponent and sliced away at the side, hoping to perhaps do more damage.

(>.< I can't do math, before this next attack I've done 22 damage. That means Dema has 28HP. I'm sorry about that. 14+8=22, 50-22=28... You can slap me.)
In the moment she moved down, allowing the blade to enter her shoulder. Her arm instantly went limp, but she decided it was better than allowing a hit at her vital organs. Though, in a matter of a moment she regained usage of her arm, but limited. Thank goodness for white magic. She quickly countered.

Seriously, don't worry about it. Shoulda figured this out earlier and done the math myself>
Her strike to the arm had slightly lessened the force of the next attack (the damage was relatively light considering). Shrugging off the mild stab, Nimue held her blade against Vesper's staff, staring at the woman over the locked weapons. She smiled slightly, then suddenly kicked the white mage in the stomach, hard.

(Thank goodness for White Wind. Also I was using a rapier, but considering it’s a mage I suppose she could very easily have both ^^ A staff will come in handy with this next attack anyways.)
That blow would have knocked the wind out of her and laid her on her back if it wasn’t for her now faded spell. Her eyes opened very wide and she stumbled backwards a couple steps. She didn’t stop though, knowing that if she wasted any time it would mean certain failure in this match. The mage raised her staff and swung at Nimue’s head, just like T-Ball.

Nimue tried to twist away, but the pain was making her slow. The staff landed with a sickening crack against her temple, a long trail of blood dripped down her face, making her look almost as if she was crying blood. She jerked her head, whipping the blood out of her eye, and drove her blade directly into her enemy's forehead.

( gonk Some one make her stop before she actually beast me. *sniffs.* P.S. I think a blade in your brain would kill you, so I'm gonna be creative since I have HP left and no more healing powers ^^)
Vesper let out a sickening scream as the blade went right through both arms, for she’d raised them as a defensive reflex. The pain was horrible, and the tip of Nimue’s blade was barely an inch from her forehead. Though really, the pain going in wasn’t as bad as it was when the blade was a removed, blood running down her arms, pouring to the floor creating puddles almost instantly. The blade had run through very close to her wrists, missing her pressure points just barely, allowing her to force herself to grip hold of her rapier and swing. She didn’t have the strength to force it through the woman.

Almost completely gone, Nimue didn't even react when the rapier slid into her side. She looked up at Vesper with tired resignation, sweat and blood dripping down her face, hiding any real tears that might have been there. With a strange sort of majesty, she raised her blade and, without any particular grace or speed, aimed a blow to the collarbone.

(I was exaggerating last night, I do have a big chance of winning... though I could be jinxing myself by saying that. You have a chance, you've been really lucky so far and if it wasn't for white wind we'd have the same HP ^^)
The mage screeched as the blade hit it’s target, moving through it actually. It was the equivalent of a critical blow, and Vesper knew it. As the blade was ripped from the wound Vesper used her good arm to attack, aiming a hit just below the ribs.
