Janja's ears twitched back when Ekevu urged the Klipspringer on, but she kept her full attention on him and whatever answer he might provide. She was not prepared for the response that she got, and the lovely description. Having never truly seen the Desert even, she had trouble imagining a land without trees and with a mountain somewhere in the middle that had royalty living on it. Her blue eyes were wide by the time he finished, and she squirmed excitedly.
"It sounds beautiful!" she squeaked, and looked back at Ekevu with bright, eager eyes, "Do you think mum and dad know about it?"

"I.. I wouldn't know.." Ekevu mumbled, in awe of the prior description of the Pridelands. It wasn't like the desert, then; it was nice, and welcoming. Trying to picture it in her mind, she paused a moment, unable to come up with an image. She couldn't even get an idea of this place!
"Janja, THAT is where we're destined to be! I know it to be true!" She cried, unable to mask the excitement in her voice and in her eyes. Leaping up, she imidiately turned and bound off the direction they came, calling back to Janja.
"Let's go talk to them now, Janja! And make sure Uche comes with you!"
Uche, shocked by the actions of the little blue lioness, turned to Janja in confusion, blinking. Well, this was great. He was going to follow them now? Luaghing wearily, Uche's gaze returned to the point Ekevu had raced off from.
"Well, Miss Janja, would you like to follow her?" He asked, knowing that he atleast had protection from the bigger lions in these two girls. And if the bigger lions accepted him, if they did return to the Pridelands, he had a ticket home!

Janja wrinkled her nose in amusement when Ekevu wouldn't even guess at if their parents knew about the Pridelands. The amused look remained when Ekevu declared it to be their destiny to go the these beautiful sounding lands, and had to admit she wouldn't be too upset if it were true. Ekevu was up in a whirl, even before Janja realized what she was doing.
She couldn't resist sticking her tongue out at Ekevu as she took the lead and instructed her to assure that Uche came home with them. That petty task accomplished, she turned to Uche with a smile, "After you!" With a giggle, Janja got to her feet and did an enthusiastic circle to behind Uche. She would make sure he followed, she didn't have eyes in the back of her head after all! She was just as keen on the idea of taking him with them as her sister.

Laughing at Janja's response to her sister, Uche watched as Janja circled behind him, sighing inwardly. Well, he was definitely going through with his idea now. Bowing his head slightly, he smiled cooly.
"Why of course, miss! Just make sure I'm headed the right way!" Uche replied, leaping gracefully in the direction Ekevu had heading, bounding with every step he took. It wasn't that he was a happy creature, no, just that it was the nature of his way. Besides, this wasn't so bad. What could go wrong with two innocent little girls?
